It sounded like a nightclub in the middle of the afternoon on a quiet block. It seems slightly out of place. I went inside and there was no one at the concierge security desk. As I almost crossed into the actual store note all the doors were open. An individual came in from the outside and asked for my ID to scan. No hello, no greetings, just very impersonal. No problem. I went inside of the space and took my time looking at each display and walking around for about 5-10 minutes. Not a single employee said a word to me, but a customer said hello. So weird. When I walked in, a guy approached me while on his phone and drinking a Red Bull, and I honestly didn't realize he was an employee at first... no identifying clothing and not exactly an attentive first impression. They had a $25 vape listed on special with "three left" in their tablet ordering system. I was the only person in the store, so it was a little confusing when, by the time I got to the counter, they were already out. They offered a different strain from the same brand, and when I asked if it would be the same price, I was told yes. When I went to pay, it rang up at $35. I asked just to confirm, and sure enough, it was more expensive. Not the end of the world, but between the inaccurate system and the miscommunication on pricing, it made the overall customer service experience feel worse than it needed to be. In a place like Manhattan, where you can practically throw a rock and hit a cannabis dispensary, consistency and clarity matter. Based on this experience, I'd probably look elsewhere next time
