Do not trust anything they say even,if you get in a text. For Hurricane Helane I had an oak tree land on my roof. I asked them one week before coming out how much and what they would do by text and I told them they needed a crane. Scott told me through text that he would remove the entire tree. I sent a second text to verifiy with him and he said"Yes, whatever hit the building. We will remove, if there is a log attached to it still. We will remove that as well. when they came out, they could not do the job, because they needed a crane. So, I had to wait until next week after taking 1 and a half hours of my day to meet up with them, because I live 40 minutes away. The second time they called me from 813-863-0511 I did not get his name, but he reaffirmed that they would get the entire tree. I went out to meet with them and at the end they said they would not remove the bottom of the tree which stands 10' roughly even though I have two texts from Scott saying he would and the person who called that day said they will. They said insurance won't pay for it which he did not mention in any of his texts even after asking the second time. He did not even offer me a cost for me to pay to get it removed, Since he had the equipment and the men out there already. Very inconsiderate. He had the crane, men, and bulldozer out there. It would have only taken 10 minutes. He said whatever it took to get the job. I could have gotten another company to do it that was honest. read more

These guys are awesome! A few years ago I had a tree fall on the house during a hurricane slicing it in half. Scot worked with me even after my insurance company low balled the damage. Now every year I call them out before hurricane season to prep my trees and trim some palms they always provide great service. read more

I called 3 tree companies to include Flynn's Tree Pros for an estimate on removing 3 dead trees and 1 I thought was dying and may need to come out. Scot Flynn the owner was the first to call. He asked when would be the best time to come out and since I work late I would not be able to meet him until later at night. He offered to come out that night after 7pm. Scot came out on time and took the time to walk with me and didn't rush even though it was getting late. He offered to send me a written estimate by the next morning which he did. He also told me that the tree I thought was dying and needed to be removed wasn't dying at all, it was fine just some branches were dead and once removed the tree would look perfectly fine. I told him that I would make my decision within the next few days. Only 1 of the 2 other companies I contacted called back and said that they couldn't come out for a few days. I explained that I had to get this work done and they said they would try to make it out the next day. They sent a guy the next day who just looked at 1 of the trees and said he thinks it would be about $300 per tree but it may go higher when the job starts if they had issues. The guy said that his boss was on vacation and he couldn't get approval do do any work until he got back the following week. I asked if they take away the dead trees once cut down and he said it would be an additional charge per tree. I immediately called Scot FLynn and asked him when he could start. He said that he had a current job ending about the middle of the next day and that he would come over after that to start prepping. I ca,e home from work that night about 9pm and Scot and his crew were just finishing up the 2nd tree. He told me that his other job was completed early and he wanted to go ahead and start mine. By noon the next day all 3 trees were down, the trees and debris were picked up and nothing was left for me to do. They even took off the dead branches from the tree I thought to be dead at no cost and raked the yard where leaves had come down off the tree. I've never had a company of any type that I've hired go above and beyond like Flynn's Tree Pros. I am so pleased with his work, crew and honesty that I will use him again and refer him to everyone I know. read more

Don't use Flynn's for tree trimming. I paid $650 for them to trim my palm trees and they did an awful job. I am new to Florida from IL and they completely swindled the money and took advantage of my lack of knowledge in palm trees. The palms needed trimming AGAIN after only a few weeks. Not all the fern was removed on my Canary palms after they serviced them. I've since found a company that will do the same job for only $150. Flynn is a complete rip off and very shady company. read more
