I went here yesterday and they were open surprisingly (Martin Luther King Jr holiday). I called first of course to make sure they were open and to ensure they had what we needed. The store is simple and to the point. No glitz, no glam just a clean uniform store. Everything seemed to be sorted out but I didn't have to look for anything so I could be wrong. I said a loud hello after about a minute to let them know someone was inside and a young lady quickly said hello back and came from the back. I told her I called about 45 minutes prior and she told me that I hadn't spoken to her, the young lady I had spoke to quickly came from the back as I was explaining to her colleague what I needed. They helped us with sizes, printed the logo on the pants and shirt and voila! I grabbed 2 uniform belts which were very reasonably priced and we were on our way. I've visited Flynn O'Hara a few times now and each time sales agent Kimberly assisted me with exceptional customer service. She was kind, polite, patient, courteous and knowledgeable about my child's school requirements. In such a busy environment it was a pleasure to be assisted by someone who made me feel like I was her only customer. I appreciate all of her help. I really hate the idea of having embroidered uniforms and you can only use one company store for all of PG County. I'm guessing the school are getting a kickback from this rude company. If Prince Georges County schools didn't have a contract with this company I would never shop here. The clothes are cheaper than Walmart clothes. The first day my son wore his shirt to school the buttons came off and after one wash the colors faded. Smh! read more

The cashier literally put the original one item that I had exchanged BACK INTO MY SAME BAG & I only noticed it after I got home. So I'm stuck with the same wrong item TWICE. Can't even bag 1 item correctly? Incompetent & worse than Walmart. Drove 25 minutes to the store full of a lot of staff who clearly were in training & can't pay attention to the items in front of them at the cashier. I would not recommend this location, stood in line for 30 minutes just to be turned away at 5:45 saying they were at capacity, then blamed it because of the pandemic! How do you turn people away who've been in line BEFORE your store closes! This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be speaking to my child's principal regarding doing business with this establishment. read more

We have shopped here for four years. On August 11, we received great service and attention to detail while getting fitted for multiple uniform garments. I learned early to shop off hours for one on one consultation. Surprisingly, this visit we received the same service during their peak hours with COVID protocols. Our visit was managed by Tyrel. He made sizing and fit recommendations and correctly processed our check out. We were even thanked for our time and patience. read more

I had the best experience!! We were looking for pants. There was only one pair available in the store and none in the area stores. The manager ordered the pants from the warehouse for me on Wednesday morning. They were delivered at our home on Friday when we weren't sure if we would have them for school this week! Worst experience shopping at Flynn & O'Hara. The school system needs to find another source for uniforms. The customer service and professionalism is lacking and they do not deserve to have a monopoly on the school uniforms in this area. Just disgusted that they take people's money then provide no goods. Then when you call customer service line all you get is a run around. I will be calling the school board and our Rep to start a petition to get this place stopped from doing business in the DMV area. Very Rude & disrespectful managers. One that's named Ashley and Another Named Wendy are highly rude when speaking to customers. The way they act can rub off on their co workers that are working there as well and they also need to do some re stocking with the clothes. They also disrespect their employees and talk nasty to them like they don't know what their doing. For any teens that want to work here I wouldn't recommend because they will be nice to you at first then be rude and nasty towards you they also gossip about the other co workers. The Lanham store is amazing. The manager is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, their warehouse and online experience is the worst ever . I will see if the school can seek alternative providers going forward . Over 3 weeks and not only are uniforms not here , they tell me everyday that are shipping "right now". This place gives me a headache every time and I leave spending $500. Customer service is horrible. I get the typical PG attitude and I'm spending my money. I wanted 5 short sleeve and 5 long sleeve oxford shirts. They needed to be embroidered. The manager (I guess, blue shirt) comes to me with an attitude telling me how I can only have 2 shirts. Huh? They explain (sort of) that they can only embroider two shirts. So how do I get the other four of each? I asked repeatedly how do I get the other shirts to be told several times that I can only have 2 or 3 shirts. Terribly long story short, I eventually figure out that they will only offer two shirts day of if they must embroider them but I could order more and pick up later. But the MANAGER did not communicate this, she gave me no options. How ignorant. Every year it's something with this place. Last year we ended up in Virginia after spending an hour in Lanham. I hope to be able to start earlier next year. read more
