I have been purchasing from the G shop for several years now and lady G NEVER disappoints!! Lady G…read moreknows what I like and caters to my specific interest and it's a perfect fit. I love the unique styles that I can choose from, styles you will not see anywhere else. I love the way each garment fits as if it's tailor made for me. I have worn clothes for all occasions from The G Shop, I turn heads as I walk in a room and of course the compliments never seas to amaze me. I have been around the world wearing The G shop Fashions and will continue making a fashion statements... people call me fly!

My 60 yr old mother, stylish, but still a 60 year old woman, asked me to take her to the G shop…read morebased on loving the clothes one of her 60 yr old friend's wore. You can imagine what my expectation was regarding what type of clothes I would encounter. I took her, b/c I'm a good daughter, not b/c I was expecting to enjoy a single moment of my time in the shop. My initial impression couldn't be farther from my actually experience. We drove into an unassuming strip mall and was immediately directed to the shop by signs posted along the parking lot (good idea). As we pull up, we are greeted by a hot pink "red" carpet and window dressing far from grandma/elderly woman's clothing. As we enter, we are immediately greeted by the beautiful diva owner, Giovanna, who verbally directed us to the store layout. My compadre's browsed, but when Giovann noticed I wasn't delving into the clothing racks (i'm not much of a shopper), she came over to me and questioned me on what my 'style' was. Which left me speechless, b/c again, I'm not a shopper and am not the kind of girl who has any idea what "style" I prefer. So, she broke it down for me. "Tell me how you like to 'feel', not how you like to look". Thus began all of our journey into diva-hood. For the next 2 hours, we tried on clothes all while Diva Giovanna showed us tips on how to bring out our best features, how to pose in a way that creates the best pictures, and what looks would work best on our bodies...she even took pictures of us in her clothes to show us how amazing we looked. It wasn't shopping. It was an experience in celebrating womanliness! There is something for everyone in this shop (even a little dog and a piano), casual, fancy, REALLY FANCY... She will make you try on things you didn't even know you would look good in and she will style you. She will make you feel like a princess, and you will leave with clothes, jewelry, accessories that will actually look like your best self. Head to G shop to get your DIVA on!

I have seen this store a few times while browsing the mall, and the clothes in the store front…read morealways looked gorgeous. As a plus-size gal, I was excited to check it out, so I came back to the mall specifically to go on a shopping spree, particularly here! However, I was quickly disappointed. Upon entering the store, all the staff were in a group in the middle, chatting. I was trying to pull clothes and having trouble balancing my purse, other shopping bags, hangers, and my jacket, but nobody noticed or offered to help me pull down things. After about 10 minutes, someone greeted me and put my clothes in the dressing room as I continued to browse, and that was probably my only proactive interaction. When the girl took my clothes she actually said to me, "sorry, we're all just catching up, you know?" which was a bit awkward, because clearly they all noticed they were ignoring me. While in the dressing room for about 20 minutes (I pulled a lot of stuff!), nobody checked on me once- which was a bummer because I had to swap things out for different sizes. I had to get dressed and go back on the floor to hunt the clothes down, and when I asked where one or two items were on the floor because I couldn't remember, none of the staff knew. That in itself wouldn't have bothered me too much if I had loved their clothes. However, while i loved just about everything on the rack, nothing fit me right. I pulled all the same size, and the shirts were huge on me (like, "is this a shirt or sleepwear?" huge), and all of the dresses were tight (like, "i can't breathe" tight). I pulled the shirts a size smaller and they fit a bit better, I pulled the dresses a size bigger and they were like potato sacks. I was just pretty confused, and could have used some help from the salespeople. At some point, I gave up and bought the one thing that fit me- a pair of pants that I actually really love- for only $38. I'm conflicted in rating this store, because I *love* that there are more plus-size options for us, and all of their clothes were gorgeous on the rack, especially their dresses. Perhaps my proportions just don't work well with their clothes, and maybe it was an off-night for the staff. I'd probably come back and give it a try, but be more aggressive to get the staff to help me with the clothing fit. Overall, I'd say it's still worth a try if you're a plus-size gal looking for some new clothes!

The owner made us feel welcome and treated us with kindness and respect. She had some beautiful items. This was the only time we saw things we actually liked. Her prices were not any more than any other boutique. I want to thank you, Mrs. Starlen for putting a smile back on our faces and giving my granddaughter an opportunity to say yes to the dress.

Immediately upon trying to enter the store we were stopped with a hand to our face telling us we weren't allowed in in a very nasty tone because I had children with me. Despite there being a small child already inside. My oldest went ahead of me so I could park and there was no reception for me to call or text her to have her come outside so we waited in 86 degrees in front of the store until I finally peeked my head in to ask if someone could send my daughter out. This is where things took an even worse turn. The woman and her husband were seemingly bothered by me asking for them to send my daughter out as she tried on dresses telling me to "just close the door". They came outside and told me while my kids sat on the curb to tell me kids touch things and break stuff and I told them my kids weren't going to do that and she says this isn't against you it's just store policy. All I wanted was to get my daughter a nice prom dress I didn't see the sign that said no kids because her sisters and I were excited to see the dresses on display and what should have been a beautiful memory turned in to a terrible nightmare. The man held the door closed so we couldn't enter and when I walked away to wait for my daughter in the car and put her sisters in the air conditioning the man then followed me to my car. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Another client walked past and said the woman had a terrible attitude and she was absolutely correct. Save your money and go elsewhere!!
