No hearing test was performed (I brought my own), no hearing aids were evaluated, no ear molds were fitted... but yes, you owe us $75 for your visit today! This office practices tricky tactics. I brought my 97 year old mother…read more in for an evaluation of purchasing a new hearing aid. I confirmed multiple times in advance there would not be a charge. As we were leaving the receptionist asked the doctor (Dr. Nataliya V. Ayzenberg) for a bill. The doctor said there is no bill. But when I got home I got a phone call saying they forgot to charge us $75. I told them we originally had an appointment in October which I canceled when they told me there would be a $75 office visit charge and an unknown dollar amount to get it repaired. so I canceled the appointment as we decided it would be better to do an evaluation for a new one since this one had already been repaired once for a $250 charge and Tufts was offering new hearing aid for $250. When I made the new appointment for November I explicitly stated that I was solely coming in for an evaluation to get a new hearing aid at the cost of $250. I confirmed at least three times during that conversation that there would not be an office visit charge. I also confirmed this with Hearing Care solutions who contracts with Tufts. During the appointment the doctor said oh you already have hearing aids. let me dry them for you and see if this resolves the problem. She also informed us that we could buy a hearing aid dryer for $25 if we have a problem in the future with the aid, which we said we would purchase and did. Had the doctor told me this would then cause us to be charged $75 I would have declined the offer for her to clean them as I was purchasing the dryer and could do it myself. obviously she was also not aware of the $75 charge as I stated above when we were leaving the receptionist asked her for a bill and she said there was not one because it was a hearing Care solutions case. They have now sent this to a collection agency. I would not recommend this office as they are practicing deceptive tactics.

It's obviously tailored towards the hearing impaired and making a sale but I found the doctor to be very friendly and extremely informative. He spoke to my grandmother and I with kindness but also with respect. More often then not a doctor will talk to the person who drove to the appointment instead of the patient. This did not happen on our visit. She was tested and fitted and all of her medical records had been received prior to her appointment which made this appointment extra informative and helpful for both her and I. I like this place because they offer follow up appointments, fittings, free batteries and someone to call when you aren't happy. Her previous hearing aid store fitted her and sent her on her way and never offered any sort of follow up opportunity. This is a problem if hearing loss fluctuates at all. She ended up purchasing a set and came back for a few follow up appointments. They have called to check up on her a few times which is a relief for the family because they can help more then we can. Plus this guy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. A Longhorn fan is always a plus in my book!
