They said I didn't follow post op procedures, which is not true. One arm looks great, the other awful. I cut a slit in the bottom of my arm garment, well below my elbow, where it was so tight around my lower arm muscle that my hands were going numb. They tried to tell me that was the reason my whole upper arm is messed up, even though the other arm is fine. They tried to convince me my messed up arm was actually fine and I must have body dysmorphia to think it is't. Only after I presented them with another Drs review of the work (which also confirmed it wasn't my fault) would they consider fixing it. She then did a fat transfer, but the tissue in my arm seems to be still so damaged from the liposuction (a year and a half later), that the fat transfer didn't take. I still have one liposuction wound that won't heal, a year and a half later, it still is scabbed. The other wound is deeply scarred on that arm, although the okay arm healed right away and the scars disappeared. Of course the office says I must have some kind of picking disorder. Everything, my fault. Of course when the office was selling the procedure they said they would laser any scars, which they didn't follow-through on. Now when I write them, telling them the fat procedure didn't take, for 3 weeks now I've been writing and sending photos, and I've been ghosted, no one writes me back. You may think that I must have gotten rude, but I tried to always be kind, I just wanted them to help and tell me what to expect with my healing and what was normal and what wasn't. If you ask AI what is wrong with my arm, it says, ask your Dr. Well, mine won't talk to me after a fat transfer for a liposuction procedure she botched, so what do I do? See another Dr? But Dr. Chung has $10,000 of my money, won't help me, won't talk to me and won't refund me so that I can get help from someone else. She has done both physical and deep psychological damage.

Dr. LoVerme listens to what the patient wants. And I have found him to be very patient centered. I had as nose job, a face lift focused on the lower half of the face, and a laser peel 18 years ago. Originally the nose job was cosmetic, but when he opened me up it flipped over to medical because my septum was shaped like a "C" When the hospital found out and I was paying for it, and it was now classified as "Medical" they tried to up the hospital fee by 900%. Dr. LoVerme told them to back off and leave me alone, they grumbled about but they did. Dr. LoVerme has since installed a fully equipped certified surgical suite in his office so there is no hospital fee for most of the procedures he performs. Thereby saving the patient a lot of money. I have since had an upper face lift, liposuction and two laser peels I am going in to have my brow reshaped. He could have very easily agreed with me about doing a procedure that would have cost me about $4-5,000. Instead he recommended using a less invasive and considerably less expensive procedure to inject a permanent filler to achieve the same results.

I am now 23 and I live with the numbness and scars that Dr Hein Succumbed me to. I went with a female doctor to avoid males seeing my breasts at (a very insecure re : birth defect at 17 years old. ) We had multiple meetings before we went into surgery at the hospital. I was informed only once we were at the hospital that there were multiple medical students there to observe my surgery. I was not offered this as an option or something I could say no to, ( which after researching, I can) but rather my surgery is happening and it's like this or not- it goes forward or it doesnt since the students have ventured all the way the hospital which I wasn't informed of. I was not given a clear "no" option and I was already in my hospital gown and hooked up to an IV when asked- meaning if I backed out now, it'll cost me $$$$. So not only did I not feel comfortable in giving a no, but it was not presented to me as an option without paying $$ for her lack of consideration v, and resulted in the exact situation I paid thousands to avoid. not only did my surgery NOT HOLD UP more than a year later, but when the lift relied more on post-surgery swelling than results, a stitch popped. Leaving my nipple permanently disfigured like a pizza without a slice. Something she never addressed or fixed on the check up, but another doctor did. He was very confused on her methods and results. He even called in young associates to take a look at my botched job. also, Hein gave me a lesser stitch than what was promised for surgery, and that lesser stitch has affected how I have healed. I was promised an anchor scar when I went into surgery, but I was left with the lollipop scar, which i feel was to impress spectators. (students) re her ability bc it was not agreed upon, and did not hold up overtime. My breasts reverted to their original state immediately after swelling. My only options now are more surgery to correct this with implants which I do not want and am incredibly uncomfortable with, or taking both of my boobs straight off my chest. with more corrective surgery, doctors told me , the way she handled my nipples, there's a high chance they'll go NECROTIC. To a different doctor, I wouldn't be in this situation and out $8000+ for it. But now I have a dilemma which will affect me the REST OF MY LIFE when all I wanted was to feel comfortable in my own skin. I left feeling violated by being watched by the very strangers I was trying to avoid and offered no out for, and also feeling trapped and like I wasted money by paying for more insecurity and observation. All i wanted was to be able to feel comfortable in my breasts without a man there to make me uncomfortable. But i am now permanently scarred and nerve damaged while I already have life-dictating levels of anxiety and self consciousness that affect my ability to be both platonically social and have romantic relationships. My other plastic surgeon was so confused on her methods he requested surgery notes to see if she f***** up more than she was admitting to me because he saw visual damage in my breasts from surgery. I can't believe I spent all this money to continue to feel insecure and hate my body and breasts. I can't be naked with sexual partners. I can't even look at them in the mirror. It upsets me so much. I've waited years to get feeling back and I have none and it's scary. I might not be able to breastfeed. I regret Hein so much and will for the rest of my life. I will never get my nerves or dignity back. Please do not get surgery from Hein- you will never be comfortable with yourself or partners again. My scars look like bear mauls. She will ruin your confidence.

Things came to a head when I wrote an email to the office manager saying I had an unsettling and chaotic appointment, detailing what transpired. The response I received was shocking and infantilizing. There were many ways she could have responded or even apologized, but instead, my complaint was blamed on my PERSONAL CHALLENGES, yes, she wrote PERSONAL CHALLENGES! She ignored most of what I wrote, like how I was still upset that the last person who took X-rays left me with cuts and sores in my mouth for weeks, how I should not have paid for the X-rays- ZERO acknowledgement of this issue. I waited a few weeks to look at my records because I was still upset from our email exchange but now after reading the notes in my records, I am sick to my stomach. Exact notes including the soooooo and sooo from the person who cleaned my teeth. 6/16/20 -pt soooooo anxious about me cleaning her teeth today, she is sooo afraid of #8 falling out. Not noted, #8 (new tooth) fell out TWO TIMES. Yes, I was a hot mess (still am) with anxiety because of the tooth falling out TWO TIMES. 6/17/21- Patient's anxiety is very irrational due to having had an accident when she was 6 years old. WRONG and inaccurate - I was in the SIXTH grade (not 6 years old), I fell and knocked my teeth out while ice skating. It was during this time that my childhood dentist, Dr. Lucia of Lynn, MA, abused me while under sedation and was eventually arrested for insurance fraud. His shoddy and negligent work led to years of ongoing dental issues, which will continue for the rest of my life. I shared this information. I shared again and again that ANYONE in my mouth causes me anxiety. Even my last note is wrong. 2/29/25- patient NO SHOW. Not noted: 11/12/24 - I left this appointment in tears. I did not make or confirm my next appointment. I was devastated that I had a cracked crown and angry that the dentist did not discuss my gums after having had gum surgery in August. I may not have had a voice when I was in the SIXTH grade, but I have a voice now.

I'm someone who usually does a lot of research on any product or service that I buy. But sometimes I don't have the time and skip it, I wished that I hadn't with Dr. Mark Rounds since I have seen that he has a lot of negative reviews on various doctor ratings websites, and now I know why. Dr. Rounds is quite the harsh, brash buffoon of a doctor that doesn't want to take the necessary time to describe surgical procedures or medication side effects or whatever else really. When I had pertinent questions to my orbital "blowout" floor fracture his response was "stop reading up on stuff on the internet" quote-unquote exactly. Later on in the conversation it was the exact same response in another vital question. But for me that is unacceptable. I'm not going to rely on a doctor's decisions 100% without asking him questions on some of them. It is my eyeball and my face that we are talking about so yes I want to know 100% exactly what we are going to do and every ramifications thereof. I feel sorry for any other naïve patient that doesn't want to know all the details of a potential surgery, how can they be that credulous before being cut into. A relationship between a doctor and patient has to be very upfront, candid and open to all the necessary details of one's health condition and surgeries, and you won't find that kind of genuine sincerity with Dr. Mark Rounds.
