That alone was concerning, but it got worse from there. They only did work in one room, which they stopped painting the ceiling a foot away from the wall and it is very noticeable. We were then told the complete job would be delayed, and it ended up being put off for two weeks. During that time, we had already moved all of our furniture out of the space, expecting the work to be done--so we were left living in an empty living room for no reason. On the day they were finally supposed to come back and complete the job, which I had planned to show them the poor painting finish, they didn't call to discuss, they just emailed us and said they believed the cracking might be due to a structural issue and that they were no longer comfortable doing the work. At that point, we were back to square one after weeks of inconvenience, with no solution and no accountability. The lack of follow-through, poor communication, and last-minute cancellation made this a very disappointing experience.

I received constant professional communication (day, night, weekend) when things weren't going well (outside of their control) and what they were doing to resolve. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options. Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences. Its that additional amount of work that they did which has me so enthusiastic about referring them to anyone needing painting done (commercial or residential.)

Based on this experience we just had him come out and fix cracks in our vaulted ceilings and skim coat over the lower 3.5' of drywall in our dining and living room where wainscoting was.
