Absolute dog shite of a company . Wish i'd seen these reviews before booking . They might seem cheap but are cheap for a reason ! Whatever price you are quoted , make sure to add on a minimum of £14 for the airport levy and if they are late to 'greet' you , you'll be paying for it. On return, we called from the plane and was told 30-40 mins. 50mins later , the guy who originally took our car arrived with another for someone else so we asked him where ours was . To be fair to him, he rang to try and find out where it was , then a 2nd guy turned up , what an arrogant t**t , couldn't give a toss, shrugging his shoulders and smirking , telling me there were only 2 drivers and we were in a queue and we would have to wait another 25 mins . AVOID! I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Fly Away Gatwick service (if you can call it a service!) was completely unacceptable and needs to be shared. From the start, the customer service was dismissive, unresponsive, and completely unhelpful. I reached out multiple times regarding our car delivery and each time I was met with either long wait times, vague answers, or no follow-up at all and with them ended phone calls abruptly. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the representatives. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, they seemed more interested in deflecting responsibility. I was given conflicting information, and ultimately left with no resolution. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is shocking. I wasted 2 hrs for a 'meet and greet'!! only to be ignored and frustrated by the driver! Avoid this company at all costs! if you value your time, money, or sanity. Appalling service from start to finish. On arrival at Gatwick South terminal no-one was there to collect our car, despite calling the company 35 minutes before we arrived. Finally a representative did turn up only to tell us that it had been busy! The delay in collecting the car also involved paying an additional amount for the time we had to wait. On our return to the UK we telephoned as requested as soon as we landed. Once again we suffered an extreme delay before our car was delivered. This included the car being taken to the North terminal instead of the South terminal. Many calls to the company to no avail and being cut off several times. We were told several times that the car was minutes away! No apologies were offered and the one representative who did turn up was very rude. ANY 5-STAR REVIEWS ARE LIES -- AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I booked Fly Away Parking at Gatwick South Terminal and it was a disaster from start to finish. First red flag: I never received a confirmation email after paying. Thankfully, I had taken a screenshot of the booking reference, or I'd have had no proof of the reservation. When we arrived to drop the car off, it wasn't the professional setup you'd expect -- no branded signage, no uniformed staff, just one sketchy guy standing next to a bollard, clearly confused and unprepared. To make it worse, we were told we had to pay for the parking ticket ourselves, which we've NEVER had to do with other meet-and-greet services. On return, we followed their instructions and called as soon as we landed. We told them we'd be 20 minutes, but it ended up being 40. When we got to the pickup point, the same sketchy guy was standing there again -- but he had no idea where our car was and told us to call the driver. The driver claimed he had just left to get the car and would be 15 minutes -- even though we were already 40 minutes later than expected, so that made no sense. Fifteen minutes passed. Nothing. We called again -- now he says he's stuck in traffic and doesn't know how long he'll be. The excuses kept changing. An hour and a half passed, still no sign of our car. Then, out of nowhere, we get a no caller ID call -- it was the original guy by the bollard, now saying the DRIVER had been lying to us and he actually had the car keys the whole time! Another hour passed. We ended up waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS in total, with a sick 3-year-old child, before we finally got our car back. And to top it all off, we had to pay AGAIN to exit the car park. What made the whole situation even worse is that we were not the only ones experiencing this nightmare. There were two other groups around us, both using different companies for parking, yet they had the same phone number we were calling, which means they are all clearly operating under different names but are the same company! They were also waiting for hours like we were. The man who finally returned our car admitted they've been having ongoing problems for weeks with cars being delayed for hours. After paying a ridiculous £140 for what should have been a "convenient" valet experience at Gatwick with Fly Away, the nightmare began. First, I had to wait over an hour just to get my van dropped off because their driver was late. As a result, I was forced to pay the drop-off charge twice -- yes, twice -- for their mistake. You'd think it ends there? Think again. Now on my return, I've been standing with my wife and daughter for another full hour in front of the terminal -- no van in sight. Apparently, my vehicle is parked 10-15 miles away, and the reason for the delay? It's "blocked" by other vehicles, so I just have to sit and wait until someone can move them. This isn't just inconvenient -- it's outrageous and unprofessional. What kind of so-called valet service doesn't have control over access to the vehicles they manage? The lack of organization, communication, and basic customer service is staggering. If you value your time, your money, or even just basic human decency -- do NOT use this service. I booked Flyaway because it was the first listed on compareairportparking.co.uk. It sounded good and mentioned wheelchair assistance. Driving half an hour before Gatwick I phoned to make contact using the number advertised.Phone cut off, it didn't even ring or connect.I phoned many times my panic rising.Looked on Google to check numbers.That's when I read the appalling reviews left about them.Still the phone made no connection. Much misery and stress ensued, finding a car park was difficult and costly.£150 for 4 days and nearly missing the flight for my son's wedding. They are the most lazy rudest people and so unprofessional they dont even say hello when they answer the phone. Every car they take a minimum of 1 hour to return the car it clearly says allow 25-35 minutes for the return of your car. This is not the case at all. I arranged for my car to be delivered at 11.30pm and I was left waiting until gone 1.45m. Another person who they just dropped back had a smashed windscreen in which we watched him park and left before the woman even got to her car to check it and another man had a dent in their car and had had also been waiting for over an hour this was on a different day. We called this joke of a company as instructed 30 minutes before arrival only to wait almost an hour in the freezing cold, the exit fee from Car park 6 had by this time gone to £10. On return I rang as instructed And was advised 30-45 minutes to wait, again in the freezing cold,after several calls the car arrived one hour & 10 minutes after the initial call, the driver advised he was only dispatched 15 minutes before. It's rare for me to go out of my way to write a negative review for a company, but if I can save anyone from the hassle and rudeness we experienced, it would be worth it. As per the instruction from the company, we called 30 minutes prior to the time we needed to collect the car. After a few minutes of waiting, I called just to politely ask if the car was near. The response from Mike was, "I told you 40-45 minutes, calm it's there". Both of which were lies as he hadn't told me that and as we are able to track our car, we soon realised it wasn't at Gatwick. I called three more times over the next 10 minutes, every call ignored. Eventually my husband phoned and Mike was so unbelievably rude and unprofessional, lying when discussing the whereabouts of our car, and even swearing at my husband. The gentleman who drove eventually met us (an hour after our original call), was lovely, polite and apologetic about Mike's behaviour. That said, I would never use this company again read more

As requested I contacted them ON THE PLANE when I just landed and was allowed to use phones to say we have landed and that we are at NORTH terminal. I arrived at the suggested spot for north terminal after a waiting over an hour. I call to firstly be told they have sent the wrong car to then be called they are waiting at the south terminal and you would need to go there. If I don't I would have to wait another 45 minutes. Even though I told them prior and it was on my application I will be landing in North Terminal not South. I had to pay more fees as they were waiting much much longer in the car park area. Even the driver said I should complain. I also get in the car to find empty cigarette packaging on the floor and my car smelling of smoke. I've never experienced such a terrible experience before. DON'T USE! I've filed a complaint demanding my money pack at first being offered 20% after refusing they've stop responding to me. read more

Avoid at any cost! Dropped my car with them at Gatwick only to receive a call on arrival in Portugal that m MOT had expired the night before and they could not drive the car and I had to pay £240 for someone to come get the car and take it to be MOT'd. I suggested I would get a friend to come and collect the car instead. They lied saying that it wouldn't be possible until the next day and the car would be kept at the short stay car parking at a cost of £14 an hour. I paid online for one day parking at short stay and sent a friend the next day to collect the car which 'surprise' was not in the terminal but had already been driven out by them. So they were trying to extort money from me threatening hundreds of pounds in hourly parking fees when they had taken the car out and it was all good. On top of that I had to wait 2 hours on return to get my car which they kept ignoring phone calls. Very dodgy. Avoid!!!! read more

I tried to contact the guy who's mobile number was provided, he couldn't hear me the first time as he was driving (probably a customer's car) then I called him back and he couldn't hear me again then he hung up and didn't answer any further calls until I called from the Mrs phone LOL. STAY AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS. "Friendly and reliable company with an excellent reputation" is a complete and utter lie. We phoned them half an hour prior to arriving at Gatwick only to find that the phone number was blocked as it was considered spam. We messaged the number and eventually received a reply, just as we arrived at the airport. The staff there spoke very little English and were quite rude as they only seemed interested in us paying the entry ticket as quickly as possible so they could get out of the airport. On return 5 days later, we phoned them (the same number was no longer classed as spam) as we collected our suitcases as requested. 20 minutes later our car was still not there so we phoned them again, but received no answer. A message was sent and a reply came back that the car was on it's way. However, it was not delivered until nearly 1 and a half hours later. In between this, we were told the car was firstly on the M25, which was changed to the M23 and it was 24 minutes away. This is surprising as they apparently use the Copthorne site to park the cars (so they say) which is only 11 minutes away. Absolute pile of **** read more

Borderline Criminal. * car was delivered 1h35min after first call. * Alledgedly the battery had been run dry by a mistake of their driver and had to jump start it (this communication happened at the 3rd call and 50' after the request to have the car delivered). They were late to pick up my car, then late again when we came into Gatwick. We were tired and they were rude and even accused me of being drunk because I was not happy with their service . They were not in the car park waiting for your car on arrival, going to Gatwick had to wait half an hour. Coming back we followed instructions calling them when we were in the airport on arrival. We went to the car park and level instructed the same as when we arrived to Gatwick two weeks before. No one arrived with the car in the time we were advised 30-40 mins so we were not impressed. By far the worst valet service I have ever used! Upon arrival they said to go to North terminal because of airport issues arouns parking and get a shuttle accross (i subsequently found out there was no such issue) I had to search for them in the car park for 15 minutes and then they told me I had to pay the parking ticket to get out if the dtop off parking! I already paid them for parking. When we returned, after our 5 hour flight including the usual airport hassle I called them to bring the car and they informed me it will take a minimum of 45 minutes, I said this is not good enough and they said tough you have no choice and hung up This service is supposed to enhance your experience but not with this cowboy outfit! Do not leave your vehicle with this company if you value it in anyway. Left Range Rover with them for just under 2 weeks came back and the back left side of the bumper was dented with deep scratches. Very clearly fresh scratches which we noticed immediately. By the time we turned to tell the lady who gave us our car back (with no forms to sign) she was running off. When we chased her and called her back she became incredibly rude. Wouldn't admit liability, yet wouldn't call anyone to check photos that were taken the day we dropped off the car. She couldn't be bothered to deal with us so literally just ran off and has since been hanging up the phone on us every time we've called. Our emails requesting this to be sorted and requesting the pictures taken when they took the car are being completely ignored. Worst interaction we have ever had with a car company and we travel regularly for work. We will be taking this to the police. read more
