Most unprofessional management I have ever experienced in my life. I would never ever recommend…read moreanyone come here. If you have any type of issue, just know the managers are too lazy to do their job and put it on the poor employees up front to deal with with problems that isn't even their job to start. There was constant miscommunication with every employee we interacted with and the manager was well aware of what was going on and refused to even help. What's the point of your job then? We made well aware we were not experts and were beginner snowboarders. Not a single employee made us aware that the beginner slopes were closed. We were never given any advice on what to do and where to go. We get to one of the lifts and when asking the employee if it was the expert slope, he said "it's not too bad." It wasn't until we got off the lift, when we realized it wasn't the case. A different (only helpful employee in this situation) immediately came to help. When explaining we were beginners, he shared that we never should've been sent up there. After explaining the situation, the people inside mentioned they were unaware that the beginner slopes were closed. Due to the miscommunication (on their part) and the fact that our safety was at risk, we rightfully asked for a refund. Mind you, we didn't even get to experience anything of what we paid for. We immediately went back down at the recommendation of the helpful employee on the slope. Management refused to speak with us and refused a refund. Also, all of a sudden once a refund was mentioned, they were ready to offer alternatives for beginners. First of all, where was this in the beginning? Second, by this time the way the situation was already being handled, we were over it and had zero interest in returning. While I don't fully fault all the employees that attempted to help with the options they were given, I put full blame on management. There needs to be cohesive communication across all employees to prevent situations like this. And as a former customer service facing manager, I am absolutely floored by the unprofessionalism from the manager on duty on February 2, 2026. She was well aware of everything but not once did she come out of her office to apologize or offer any kind of assistance. Absolutely ridiculous, insulting to our time, energy and money.

Jackson Hole Aerial Tram

If you're coming to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and not riding the Aerial Tram to Corbet's Cabin…read morefor waffles... you're doing it wrong. The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram ride alone is worth it. You pack into the "Big Red" tram and ascend 4,139 vertical feet up Rendezvous Mountain, and the views just get better and better. On a clear day, you can see the entire valley spread out below you -- it's one of those "wow, this is why I travel" moments. Then you step off at 10,450 feet and make your way to Corbet's Cabin. The smell hits you first. The air is filled with warm waffles cooking in a tiny, cozy hut perched at the top of the mountain. It feels like a hidden alpine secret, even though everyone knows about it. But, on a windy day, be careful! The waffles? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings. The brown sugar butter and bacon combo is legendary, but honestly you can't go wrong. Eating a hot waffle at the top of the Tetons before dropping into serious terrain (or just cruising down a groomer) is peak ski culture. Pro tip: go early. Lines build fast, especially on powder days. Five stars just for the tram-to-waffle experience alone. It's not just a snack, it's a rite of passage.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Martha recently, and I cannot speak highly enough of her…read moreprofessionalism, empathy, and commitment to doing the right thing. From the moment we connected, Martha demonstrated a deep understanding of ADA guidelines and handled the situation involving a service dog with absolute grace and respect. THE FIRST FOR ME since Ranger was certified almost 4 years ago. She asked all the right questions--clear, appropriate, and in full compliance with ADA regulations--ensuring both the person and their service animal were treated with dignity. It was evident that Martha not only knew the law but truly embraced the spirit of inclusion and respect behind it. What stood out the most was her calm, kind demeanor. She made sure the individual felt comfortable, supported, and welcomed, never once making them feel like an inconvenience or outsider. Her thoughtful approach turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience. Martha is a shining example of how service, compassion, and professionalism should look. She's not only informed--she's intuitive, respectful, and truly cares about doing right by others. Highly recommend and deeply grateful for her care.
