It's a ski resort with lots of activities, a nice pool, bars, and a breakfast place. The last 7 miles of the drive were a bit scary--I was the only one on the road--but once I reached the resort, I was so happy I made it. The peaceful vibe, stunning views, and friendly atmosphere made it all worth it!

It is in the shape of a teepee and has rooms in a circle around the teepee. The rooms are kinda small and basic but functional. The center of the lodge is a gathering space for guests with couches, tables and chairs, a large fire place, a small food prep area. I be wish we could have stayed longer. A bonus item is they have a lodge mascot named Lizzy, a greater Swiss mountain dog. She is just beautiful and so sweet. I hope to be able to go back some day!!!!!

I ended up sitting at a table on the deck with some friends later on, and ordered a half pound of buffalo wings to snack on, and Nate got a burger. The wings were good, pretty typical sports bar type wings. Others at our table got the Wydaho nachos, which are made with waffle fries. The plate was huge and looked delicious! The servers helping out with the outdoor tables were great at keeping track of everyone and it made for a really nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Now the weeds and trees are all overgrown, no one is maintaining the land. We have watched several cars pull up to use the washroom which means they aren't changing the code on the doors. It looks like people live here permanently and there is trash and garbage strewn throughout. This will be the last time we stay here. Move on down the road if you are in a travel trailer.

Having never rented from vrbo, we were extremely anxious about being conned, or losing our security deposit because the owner wants to make a little extra off the rental. Our experience was nothing like that, and thanks to Wendy, we will try vrbo for our next ski trip as well. She refunded our deposit within 48 hours, and charged a very fair cleaning fee, half of what other rentals in the city were charging. The nightly rate is unbeatable. And the condo is AMAZING, absolutely beautiful!! Well furnished with movies, games, hdtv, blue ray player, books, towels, extra blankets. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, both with double sinks, a full kitchen, 6 person dining area, living room, and 2 decks. It is a first floor rental which we preferred, and in a beautiful location, surrounded by trees and an open snow covered meadow all around. Condo comes with everything you could possible need, literally. Bedding is 1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin, 1 twin trundle, PLUS 2 twin foam mattresses, one of which I slept on and absolutely loved. I love how every room had its own thermostat so you can keep your room as warm as you want. Only advice I can give is make sure you ask Wendy to start the heater couple hours prior to your arrival because in the dead of winter in Idaho, a first floor condo with no heater running feels like DEATH. But once the condo heated up, there were zero issues with it staying warm for the rest of our stay.
