I could not be more pleased at my decision to act on a good deal rather than try to force someone to conform to my notion of what their personality should be. I apparently lack the gene responsible for giftedness in the art of canine hygiene. I can bathe my dog all day long and there is not a single second where it doesn't still stink like a dog. I dropped my dog off for a few hours and when I came to pick her up, she didn't smell like a dog at all. For like two weeks! It was amazing! Not only that, but I had only recently acquired this dog, and knowing nothing about dogs other than that my kids wanted one, I was having some struggles. The owner showed me how to handle the leash and get her to walk properly, how to get her to stop jumping on people, and all manner of other things. In 10 minutes I learned so much about how to handle my dog. It was like watching every episode of the Dog Whisperer. But it didn't stop there. No no. My son came with me to pick up our dog and was very interested in the birds the owner has in the shop, along with a dog she was working with. She probably talked to him for another 20 minutes about how she was training this dog and about the birds and even took one of the birds out for him to hold. Puppy Cuts leaves nothing to be desired in terms of price, quality, or friendly service. If you're someone who is perpetually grumpy and displeased, Puppy Cuts probably isn't going to be able to help with that. I don't think that's one of the services they offer. But if you're looking for a great, affordable place to give your dog a thorough cleaning, they can and will definitely help with that.

I didn't even realize how bad it was until I washed him again at home and the blood-stop powder I suspect they used dissolved, revealing the CUT on his ear that BLED everywhere. I can't even attach a photo because it's too graphic. I stopped coming here for a long time because of that. Yesterday I decided to give them another chance and brought my dog in for a flea treatment because I've been busy. I hadn't even left the parking lot before I noticed a flea on him. I paid $60 for my dog to STILL HAVE FLEAS. They also failed to clip his nails :) They told me to come back at 8am for a rewash, but after everything that's happened I don't trust leaving my dog in their care anymore. Twice now I've left here feeling like my dog was not properly taken care of. If you care about your pet, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE.

Because my dog is blind and has arthritis clippers weren't going to work so Rebecca used her scissors to do an all over trim. She was very patient and kind even though my dog took a few nips. Drop off @ 7:30 , got called to pick up @ 9 am. I was surprised at how fast they finished her up! The ladies in the front were very sweet & nice. They did well with accommodating my requests such as keeping her fur like a puppy cut and no bows because this silly girl does not like them. Before coming, I'd suggest selling a kidney first. They only care about your money and not your pet. I was originally told it would be $120 for two baths, sanitary trims, and nails. I go in and they laid out a million additional fees and stated that they'd have to shave them because their undercoat was shedding out.. Not a big deal, I agreed to that. After they spent over 6 hrs there, I went to pick them up and was charged a bunch of additional fees for "behavioral issues". I asked what happened and they said one was anxious and moving around. I've been getting both dogs groomed regularly for 5 years and have always asked how they do. They have all told me that they were absolutely great but one gets anxious when separated. I told them that up front and they stated that they'd keep them together. When I showed up, they were both tied to a wall in separate rooms... I wonder why he was anxious? Then I get home and see that their toes are all bloody and chopped off. They also had nicks everywhere from the shears. After being there over 6 hrs, they got home and downed water so I'm sure they didn't have any ALL DAY. There wasnt any in the kennels or the wall that they were tied to. My dogs were also shaking like they were terrified when I picked them up. My dogs are very well behaved so I'd hate to see what they charge others who may not be. If I could give zero stars, I would.
