She brought in really interesting artwork and various figurines that made our home like a showplace! Even our realtor commented that our beautiful home was brought to next level with her staging. For the very reasonable designer fee, we are convinced that it increased our sales price more than 10x the cost of the staging! I would recommend Serenity Designs/Monique to ANYONE considering selling their home.

Once we had done our chores (mid-May), she was back with the loaner items and they set the house up carefully for the photographer, and gave us instructions about how we should re-create the setting before showing the house. She does exactly what she says she is going to do, with a minimum of fuss and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

My husband & I deeply needed a house clearing + blessing for our new life together. Our old…read moreCambridge home, while beautiful & full, held some noticeable "off-juju" in various rooms & corners. Cosmically, we had the fates help us to find & call upon Janine Whitaker. After living for almost 2 decades in CA, I had moved home to Boston where my sage & Palo Alto sticks + crystal sprays often attracted strange stares from my hometown friends & family.  However, after years of subtle yet undeniable balancing & intention manifesting using these tools, I was adamant they would still hold a place in my East coast life.  We lacked the professional experience to tap into expanded levels of spiritual, energetic tools (Janine uses all of the best of them!), thus we needed a shaman.   Not surprisingly, the universe led us to exactly the person we set our intention to find.  After locating Janine's website in the local google search, I phoned & in one conversation felt she was our "it".  Along with her lovely assistant Kate, we scheduled Janine to come to our home and in a warm & easy ceremony (which my husband & I chose to participate in!), we cleared & blessed our home.  The difference was immediate, even my somewhat skeptical (& intensely practical!) husband "felt" a profound difference.  We were so happy that within weeks, we asked Janine to travel to "clear" our vacation home too & similarly felt old juju's lifted & welcomed in their place a palpable sense of clarity & harmony after her work there. As my husband & I approached our New England August wedding, we both began feeling that we needed a spiritual element, authentic to us and at once infused with sacred ceremony.  We called Janine who presented us with a handful of extraordinary ideas.  We asked if she would "bless our ceremony space", share spirit stones with our guests and perform a Celtic hand-tying ceremony as part of our wedding. Janine Whitaker will forever hold a most special place in our lives!

Maureen just staged my condo in Cambridge which I was able to sell quickly at a great price. I was…read moreskeptical about retaining a stager because my place is fairly small and I wasn't sure it was worth the cost. The issue with staging is that you have to have faith. You will never know how much of an impact it had, if any. I think Maureen did a great job though! She told me what items to put into storage to make my place look bigger and she reorganized my things in a way that made the condo more inviting. She also brought in some of her own things to complete the picture. I would highly recommend DaVinci if you are going to use a stager. My realtors use her themselves when they sell their own homes too. She is definitely an expert at what she does! The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the cost. My condo is only 700 square feet and the cost was $2,500. Maureen came for an initial consult and then spent one full day staging. Again, I have no way of knowing how much added benefit the staging had with the sale price and while I'd like to think it increased the sale by at least $2,500 I just don't know. In any case, I would still highly recommend DaVinci, especially if you have a larger home or you are selling in a less desirable area as I think the added benefit will be more noticeable.

First project: After a few failed attempts to work with decorators, I received a very strong referance from a dear friend that Davinci Designer Gallery - Maureen Reddy - was the way to go.... She was right! My first work with Maureen was to help with the selection of colors for all of the first floor rooms. We have a home that is full of art that we have collected from around the world. We also have an eclectic collection of antiques and other objects. Maureen took everything in, in additon to our unique sensibilities and in a very short time recommended colors for each room. To this day we still receive compliments on the lovely colors and how beautifully they work with our art. Second Project: Now we are really ready for big changes and called Maureen Reddy once again. She helped me think through and design everything - from the choices of new furnature - to the selection of fabrics for three antique wing chairs an antique couch and much more. She has an amazing eye for detail and design -- I still am amazed at how well she is able to understnad what we like and at the same time help us move in new directions - from rugs to lampts to other objects from her personal collection - the result was breathtaking! She (Maureen) is professional, honest and fair in her pricing and an amazing artist. She's also a lot of fun to work with! We recommend Davinci and Maureen 1000% and can't want for the next project - the re-do of the entire upstairs of our home.
