When I wasn't home, they dumped them in front of the gate to my development for anyone to walk off with. They didn't include a card or address, other than a small card promoting their business. A neighbour saw them, brought them in, and had to call Blumen to ask which house they were for. I still have no idea who sent them, though, so I can't thank them for the gift. Pretty incredible that a florist can't be bothered to include a card with the flowers, or even to put an address on them if they're going to leave them out in public rather than delivering them.

I was going to just arrange something when I arrived Vancouver and do something small the day of. However, I'm happy with my decision, it was just one less thing that we had to worry about. The bouquet and boutonniere both turned out exactly how I pictured it. It was just a bummer that I forgot the boquet when I was taking my wedding pictures, so I didn't have a lot of pictures to capture the beautiful bouquet . Michelle understood the assignment and the bouquet was also perfect for keeping in a shadow box!

I clicked on their website and loved the web layout and design and immediately started clicking and scrolling on every page. I've ordered twice from this business now. The first time, I forgot to ask for a photo of the flowers - but when my boss received them and showed me a photo - I was impressed and so happy that this was the Designer's Choice bouquet that was delivered to her for her birthday. Today, I placed another order for a Designer's Choice Bouquet. I'm really excited to see what it will look like - but I'm certain my friend will love it! I follow Arbutus Florist on Instagram too and I really wish there was something like this in La. I would love to take a class and make a custom bouquet of flowers myself - next time I am in Canada, I'm definitely going to sign up for a class myself. Thank you and your team for the best service and communications through email and phone. One time we came here to buy peonies together the owner insisted in giving us aged peonies that were already fully bloomed that would have died in a few days (despite my request for tighter buds). The most recent purchase the flowers came half wilted and the tulips and hydrangeas were already dying. See photo. Day 2 and most were shrivelled up and lifeless. What a shame to pay so much money to have dying flowers. Debating if we should still come here going forward.

I thought by providing a picture, it would be close to what I had in mind. Instead, I got something that didn't resemble the style I had requested and instead had a mix of inferior flowers. Needless to say, I was very disappointed given the good reviews here. I'm glad I went in before it was delivered to make some changes, but it ended up looking kind of haphazard and became an hot mess. The owner stated several times that the style I requested was one of the first styles that she had learned. If so, I was not impressed. She also wasn't pleased with the changes and resisted adding the types of flowers I wanted even though she removed quite a few large flowers. She kept adding green filler instead of flowers. I think for almost $200, she could have done a fairer job in accommodating my needs. I just hope my friend's family and friends don't look too closely as it didn't look very elegant at all. Not an happy customer. If I wasn't gutted by my friend's sudden passing and pressed for time, I would have cancelled my order and have gone elsewhere.

Since her favourite colour is pink, I asked the owner to make a bouquet of primarily pink peonies. She said no problem and I paid $60 and left. She admitted that it was her fault and quickly changed the flowers for me. I'm so happy, she never blamed it on me (even though it's not my fault) and was so obliging. The bouquet turned out beautifully! The price was fair and customer service was excellent. She is very easy to talk to and very friendly as well. I was highly disappointed when I got these flowers .. the roses were just placed in the vase THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO CREATIVITY USED AT ALL!!!! now I've done arrangements for events and I ended up fixing this one after .. added some 4 dollar baby's breath from safeway .. trimmed some of the roses so they were different heights and also arranged the colours nicely ... Their customer service is good tho .. she called and made arrangements for me to pick them up because she couldn't get into my building and she stilled walked them home for me because it was heavy and I had a stroller and other stuff .. I mean my fiance technically did pay for delivery but it was still nice of her .. Also some of the red roses were dying very dark .. they didn't even take the time to pick the dead petals off .. Honestly this bouquet was 50 plus delivery and tax .. don't waste ur money go elsewhere ... safeway at new west station sells nicer arrangements in their fridge section and they also have vases for sale .. I'm sure for 50 bucks you could get a WAAAAAY better arrangement that actually utilizes some creativity and effort with a vase and the person who receives it will be happier .. Don't get me wrong I am very greatful that my fiance put the effort in .. I just feel like he wasted his money because the arrangement was such a disappointment and I ended up fixing it myself ... The two stars are strictly for customer service ... actual product gets 0 stars ...
