Their Quality Assurance Manager Koren Rideout responded right away with her concern. I provided her with the info n pics she requested. She assured me a couple replacement jars would be sent out right away. I was very impressed with their customer service (at first). Then 3 weeks go by with nothing showing up, as I never received confirmation or tracking, just her word. So I reached out and she stated she forgot but provided tracking. Soon as the package arrived I opened it to find she only shipped 1 instead 2 like she mentioned. Eager to try the jam I opened it right away, only to be smacked in the face for the 3rd time with a foul smell of stinky behind. I reached out right away to Koren to let her know but she never responded back. At this point I am writing this company off. Customer service started great, then became non existent. 3 out of 3 jars spoiled which shows there is a serious quality control issue going on. I was willing to ship that jar back, so they can smell if for themselves.

My personal favorites include the apple fritter, cinnamon swirl roll, glazed twist, Chocolate glazed creme filled, the peach pie and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich. If you're in a hurry, don't forget to request an order of glazed donut holes! You can tell they're made fresh daily. They taste so crisp and melt in your mouth. I do recommend going on the early side. I tend to visit on Saturdays and you can tell they've been busy because the case has few options if you go after 10:30 am. Flowers Food bought the Wonder bread rights in bankruptcy court. Wonder bread still retains it's iconic red, yellow, blue circles on it's packaging. i disliked Wonder bread for it's lack of nutrients. kids loved it for the supersoft texture. one barely had to chew, they just swallow. the bread. though it's labeled "whole grain white", the whole grains are oat, corn, cottonseed or cellulose. not wheat grains. each piece of bread satisfies 3% fat, 6% sodium & 8 % carbonhydrates of a daily requirements. a 60 calorie slice of bread is made from water, unbleached enriched flour, whole wheat flour, wheat gluten, high frutose corn syrup, yeast, fiber, & brown rice flour. when the bread isn't utilized as energy in the body, it transforms into fat.

Their retail store is a much smaller version of the products you see at the pecan and candy shops along the interstate. This is located at the facility where the products are made. They have samples out for most, if not all, of their products to help you decide what you want. That's assuming you don't want one of everything. We got dark chocolate covered pecans, chocolate covered dried cherries, chocolate covered blueberries, divinity and a gift box of chocolate covered pecans. We easily met the "deal" requirements for a free peanut brittle. We got to taste samples of everything except the peanut brittle. I don't remember seeing samples of that. All of the chocolate covered candies are delicious but the big surprise was the peanut brittle. I used to love peanut brittle but I had given up on it a long time ago for fear of breaking a tooth. I decided to get it out for our family Christmas gathering and took a little piece, figuring to just suck on it until it melted. Turned out it was easily crunchable and not too sweet. Of the variety of things I put out to munch on this Christmas Day, their brittle was one of the hits. This assures that we will make sure to stop at Dillon Candy and not pass by. Their prices are reasonable. The choices are limited to what they make. Many of the products are in generic packaging rather than their retail packaging which probably helps keep the prices down. The store is small and they have regular business hours Monday-Friday, 8-5. If you are passing through on US 84 during that time you need to stop.
