The line upon arrival was at least 15 to 20 deep, but it moved so quickly. If you arrive to a wait, do not let it deter you. They hustle!!! It was just a short wait for our food to be freshly prepared. We both opted for the same sandwich with different bagel flavors. The sesame bagel was absolutely loaded with sesame seeds. There's nothing worse than a bagel that claims to be a "sesame" bagel that only has a sad smattering of seeds across one side. This bagel was absolutely loaded up. Crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, loaded with a huge portion of scrambled egg , this breakfast sandwich was enough for two people to share, but we did not! I would literally drive up to Thomasville from Tallahassee again just for the sandwich. You cannot beat their price point. This breakfast would be twice as much in Tallahassee as it is at Empire. Empire has a quaint, local NY bagel shop vibe. You can order bagels for the office or just a sack to take home. The assorted smears have something for everyone, with Canoli flavor being a bonus for your sweet tooth. I'm already planning a lunch trip in the near future.

I had pulled chicken with crispy Brussel sprouts that feature a maple glaze. Person with me had brisket. We ordered, hot plate of deliciousness was before us in under 10 minutes. Everything piping hot, bursting with flavor and generously portioned. My sides: the mac & cheese was best I have ever had! And the crispy brussels were amazing. So much chicken, could not finish it. Juicy, smoky flavor. And their sauces are amazing compliment, although it did not need it! Brisket also tender, smoky & delicious. Only thing I did not enjoy was the slab of bread. Personally I think it should be toasted. Didn't touch it. The pickled garnish..try it! WOW!!! Pickles, carrots & onions. I wish there was more. Food was phenomenal. Service was fast & friendly. This was a pitstop on a roadtrip, and we were in & out so quick with bellies full and some leftovers. This particular roadtrip is going to happen multiple times a year for a while. The mac & cheese was amazing (the consistency was spot on) and the fries are super unique because they use their meat rub on them. My partner got the brisket plate with coleslaw and sweet potato; the brisket was nice and lean. Even the kids were happy! They had the child's sausage and pulled pork plates. The atmosphere is totally kid-friendly and our waitress was outstanding. We'll definitely be back!

Val got the Smoked Georgia Peach & the smell of the smoked wood was so fabulous! So good- the vodka I sampled seemed to have smokiness on the back end! Not because it was actually smoky- but because the vodka was so smooth it allowed the flavor to show up! John and I sampled all the spirits- they had flights for 7 non-aged spirits, 7aged spirits and a gin flight or 3 spirits. Plus I got a sample of a blueberry brandy! Vodka- oh-so-smooth Moonshine was very corn forward Rum- I really enjoyed the white rum! Amaretto- good gracious! Delicious America 250 blew us away, seriously the best sample we tried! Melissa was an amazing tasting guide and we happily supported this small business- all of us bought bottles! My sister and I both bought the 250th whiskey & I grabbed the award winning amaretto.
