I ordered flowers for a friend's birthday from out of state. I chose Flowermart Florist because of their close proximity to my friends house and their good Yelp ratings (or lack of bad ratings). I took a chance by surprising my friend with the delivery, but the surprise was on me as she was out of town. Originally, Flowermart delivered the flowers and because no one was home, left them outside on a covered porch. After about 3 hours I called my friend to see if she got them. This is when I found out she was out of town and I notified the store. I wasn't too happy that the flowers were just left outside. I was thinking they could have called ahead to see if anyone was home before making the delivery, saving a trip and keeping the flowers fresh. I called the shop and explained the situation. The manager said that unless they get specific delivery instructions they will usually deliver the flowers if no one is home and there is a safe place to leave them. I get it. They did not want to spoil a potential surprise by calling ahead. The next day, they picked up the flowers and told me they would deliver something that would make me happy when my friend was back from her trip. I feel terrible. This was my fault. I took a chance my friend would be home and I did not leave any delivery instructions. Flowermart ended up making 2 deliveries, 1 pick up and two arrangements. Several days later, when my friend was back home, she notified Flowermart Florist and they delivered a beautiful, fresh arrangement exactly as I had ordered. I can't thank Flowermart enough. They went to great lengths to make this customer and my friend very happy and I really appreciate it. read more

My daughters use this florist for all of their floral gifts which are always very beautiful! The last gift for Mother's Day was lovely but did not last very long.
