I just heard out about Yelp.com after sharing my story about Driftwood Florist with a friend. I knew I had to go on right away and share my story... before they screwed over anyone else. We were working with the owner of Driftwood Florist, Teresa, for the centerpieces for our wedding that occured on January 16th. We met with her several times in the months in advance to go over what would be put together and what her rates were. She seemed like a great deal saying how she would put together these beautiful pieces, and she would bill us $25 per hour for her time. We even have emails written back and forth about the agreed job to be done, so there is no discrepency about what was to be done for what price. So there was several weeks and months that went by from meeting to meeting where we noticed her severe unorganization and lack of communication. We started to worry, so we began offering to order some of the things that would go in the centerpieces, such as the white lights and glass stones. We were so lucky that we took the reins into our own hands and had some of the stuff ordered, because a week before the wedding she decides that she wants to quit on us. ONE WEEK before our wedding, she sends us an email quoting prices that were out of this world. It was basically a slap in the face, that said you need me at this point and you have to pay me whatever I say. Well, we didn't need her because we had much of the stuff for the centerpieces already in our possession. She tried price gouging the crap out of the situation and it forced us into the all likely scramble that every wedding has. We were lucky to have great family, friends, and a great planner, who I will highly recommend in another review. After this happened and I posted "Don't go to Driftwood Florist" on my facebook status, I had two other friends of mine, both brides, who were married previously and were upset with her work. They both complained that Teresa had promised them more in the way of what would be done, and she underdelived and they unfortunately overpaid in the end. I hope this review helps brides and grooms, and just anyone in the future from being let down by Driftwood Florist. They have a great location in the center of Jupiter, but make the smart choice to stay away. Please read my other reviews I will write about the people that made our special day truly amazing. OMG!! I love this florist!! I ordered flowers to brighten the day of my dear friend who started chemo today! She's in Florida and I'm 1,000 miles away so imagine my surprise when I get a picture of the actual bouquet going out for delivery to my friend!!! Most places are happy if the people who order them don't see them because they usually pale in comparison to what they saw online! The flowers are absolutely gorgeous! Mom turned 97 and lives in Jupiter. Did a search online to find a local florist, and came upon Driftwood Florist. Ordered online without incident, great website. Received a call from them the next day to confirm and discuss my order, and also received a photo of the arrangement they deliveted to Mom! Excellent customer service and prompt delivery. Mom loved the arrangement, so mission accomplished! Love this florist and will continue to support this local business for all my future floral needs! read more

Driftwood Florist is wonderful to work with. Meredith (I think that's who I ordered over the phone with) was so accommodating and made a special arrangement as I requested and made sure the flowers would be delivered within a certain time frame on the same day as ordered! I appreciate her patience with me as well. Just ordered flowers for my anniversary. They were so kind, understanding, and professional. Absolutely the best service I've ever had from any florist. My family has ordered from them before, but this was my first time using them myself. I called from out of state ordering an arrangement for a family member and not only did they e-mail a photo of the arrangement but they also sent a confirmation of delivery and gave me such peace of mind. This was a lovely arrangement. Customer service was excellent--on first delivery attempt (late in the afternoon), my in laws were not home and it was super humid out, so Nicki called me (in San Francisco) to see if I could contact them and ask when would be a good time to make the delivery. I highly recommend this florist! I placed an online order for a bouquet for the 1st time with them this December. They sent me a photo of the bouquet the morning it was delivered. They also sent me an email telling me when it was delivered. I live far away, so these were nice touches & really appreciated! Great Experience. I live in New York and found Driftwood while doing an on-line search for Florists in Jupiter. I ordered over the phone. The process was friendly, helpful and efficient. Sam at Driftwood understood my vision of what I wanted them to create. They sent a picture, although beautiful, it was not what I wanted. Driftwood Florist created a beautiful Color combination of live orchids for a spectacular and special arrangement and delivered promptly. They also send a photograph of completed arrangements prior to delivery which I think is a smart service. read more
