I needed to clean my wheel wells on the rental (they may have had some mud...) but didn't want the car to get touched and risk any damage. The flying frog fit the bill with convenient credit card option, multiple settings and a dryer. I ended up going rogue and doing the whole car because it was so much fun. The free vacuums are a good touch and picked up road trip candy and hiking grime no problem. I likely won't be back since I don't live in town but my word, can you send one of these to STL?

Once I got to Bend, my car was absolutely caked with dirty snow, mud, gravel and road debris. Funny enough I cleaned my card the day prior hoping the roads weren't going to punish my car that bad! I quickly looked online and the reviews didn't miss a beat. The touch-less car wash left my car in amazing shape considering it was plastered with dirt. Here are some photos. A $15 premium wash is well worth while. Left me speechless and this will be the go-to car wash whenever in need while in Bend!

They were absolutely the best ever and they gave me a free mega car wash on them. One awesome car wash that's for sure.

Today after I had my car washed, as I was drying it off a bit, I looked at my headlight covers and they looked very cloudy. I knew they were bad but today it really bugged me. Empire car wash has a detail shop as well so I walked over and ask the employee there if he had an idea of what I could do about my headlights. He walked over, took a look and mentioned that there are headlights restoring kits you can buy. I told him I have tried them to no great improvement. To my surprise he offered to take it into his detail shop and buff them for me. What a delight! I was, however, somewhat skeptical as my car is 11 years old and the plastic was really bad. After using a buffer and two kinds of paste, my headlights look NEW! This took him all of about 8 minutes. Talk about great customer service. I will absolutely take my car in for a full detail there sometime soon.

OK update, they called me back and told me that they will refund me all charges for the last 6 months. How is their car wash facility? It usually work well, but not great. Sometimes they don't always scrub manually with those brushes and may have to go through a 2nd time. I wish all the bugs would come off but that may be asking too much. The vacuums have pretty good suction and having an air nozzle to blow out nooks and crannies is something nice that not all car washes have.

I quickly looked on my phone at my bank account and saw that a $50 charge had been declined just second before at the gas station I was getting gas at. He then went on to explain that a $100 hold was to be expected to be ok my card now. I questioned him why would that be, I'd never heard of such a hold on a debit card due to a decline at a cash station. I then asked why was there intact a $50 change attempt from him instead of $15. He denied trying to charge $50 and then asked if I tried the new burger joint across the way. Strange and very sketchy.
