I first ordered a christmas bouquet for my grandma on one of those big sites Teleflora. They ended up cancelling my order, saying it could not be fulfilled by their network of florists. I then go on the hunt. Called a few places and try to have it delivered to my grandma's place of business before Christmas with no luck of delivery until after Christmas! I even did another online order with a florist that said they delivered to Aiea Hawaii. Upon further investigating it was a scam site. I'm still waiting to get refunded from that site. I stumble upon Flower Fair website on the evening of 12/21. I place my order at 9pm hoping it could be fulfilled...fully expecting it to be cancelled. Keep in mind by the time I ordered on 12/21 they were already closed. I filled out the message section for my grandma and completed my order. I realize an hour later when I reread my message I forgot to mention who the flowers were from. In a panic I searched and found their email and messaged them if they would kindly add who the flowers were from. A few minutes later I get a response of "No problem, thank you!" Remember they are closed now...but they still responded in lightning fast speed. I tell you I almost teared.... Come Monday morn 12/23 Hawaii time my Grandma gets the beautiful arrangement. My husband said he could hear it in her voice when she called of how happy she was! Unfortunately she does not have a cell phone to take a picture of the arrangement but we knew they had to have looked wonderful. THANK YOU SO MUCH FLOWER FAIR! First time I have ever ordered from them and I must say Amazing Service. Liz helped me with my order and her customer service is outstanding. They accommodated my needs on short notice as I called about 930 to place an order to deliver to the hospital and cAlled back within 45 min to see if it could be a rush Delivery as the person We was sending flowers to was goin home earlier then expected. And sure enough they did that just for us with no hesitation and no questions asked and complaints and that is something I'm very grateful for. This flower shop has it all, quality lei and flowers in a super convenient location up Fort Street Mall! We came here to get some leis for an upcoming company meeting. You can phone in your order and pick it up when it's convenient for you. If you walk too fast you might miss it, but it's right by the church. The three ladies working were very sweet and efficient. My coworker and I looked around and the flowers were vibrant and fresh, and the price was not too shabby either. I definitely plan to come here for future floral needs. read more

Many downtown office workers and HPU faculties and students can already tell you how wonderful and convenience it is to get their flowers from Flower Fair. Yap, lei are plentiful at the store each day. You can be sure their arrangements are not as pricey as other downtown florists. Parking may be a little tricky if you don't already working downtown. When I visit, I park my car in front of Kukui Plaza, next to the fire station. read more

The nice lady there told me they will put the flower arrangement together that morning and deliver them by 11am. On the day of the delivery I was anxious to hear (it was a surprise) from my wife that she received the flowers....2pm rolls around and I was wondering why my wife didn't mention about any flowers being sent her way, so I called the flower shop to make sure everything was okay and that they had the correct address and my # incase of anything. To my surprise they actually FORGOT all about the order and said to me immediately that they will put it together and deliver it now. I was shocked..... and mad that they didn't even offer to refund my delivery charge of $10 or something....I mean I don't expect to get free flowers out of it but a little business etiquette for your own wrong doing would be nice. If I didn't call to check they would have NEVER delivered the flowers. On top of that they had to call me back because they couldn't find the address on google maps....I didn't know what to say (cause I looked it up.. AND IT WAS RIGHT THERE!!) so I told them it was near a hospital (don't want to name it here) and the closest intersection and all of a sudden they saw it on google maps. In the end the flowers were delivered and my wife loved them....Good thing I had time during work to call and follow up on the delivery or my wife's bday surprise would have been ruined. UPDATE: Flower Fair contacted me a day after this review and offered to compensate me for their mistake. Great customer service! I live in CA & wanted to get a special bouquet delivered to my grandma that same day. Found this on Yelp & liked one of the pictures posted by another customer. They didn't have it on their website to select from (must've been a custom made one) so I called to inquire. It was difficult to describe (mainly because I don't know names of flowers) so I asked if I could take a screenshot & text it. I was able to. I worked with May. She told me the price & since I couldn't order the one I wanted through the website, I was able to work with her via text. I texted the message I wanted on the note & my billing info. I called her to provide the credit card#. She even texted me a picture of the finished product & when it was delivered. They were friendly, easy to work with, dependable & had great communication. When the woman on the phone asked for the delivery address she said that there was no charge for delivery! The woman even offered to text me a picture of the arrangement before it was delivered. I was looking for a florist that delivers flower arrangements in the downtown area. My wife works downtown and it was for our first wedding anniversary. So it had to be special. I checked our yelp, and found Flower Fair, which had good recommendations and comments. I knew that I was taking a chance since I wasn't familiar with their work. I put my faith in the recommendations, and ordered 11/2 dozen pink roses. I was told that they could do it and it would be ready for delivery in about an hour. The person I spoke to was very cordial and helpful. A half hour later, I got a call from them and was asked if I wanted to get a fancier vase. It sounded good, but I asked how much more it was going to cost. It was the same price! My wife received the arrangement soon after that, and she was so happy!
