This yoga studio is nothing short of amazing! I found the studio in desperation to get back into yoga after a back injury and I have not looked back. The studio space is massive compared to others in the area and extremely clean. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed by all. The entire vibe of the studio is incredibly inviting and not something I have ever experienced before in other studios in Bergen county. It feels like a true community of great people with no judgment. Rachel the owner is wonderful. She is so sweet and extremely experienced in her practice and makes a point to learn who all her students are. Giving relaxing, yet unique and strong classes. I try my best to catch her classes when I can. Erica is also incredible. Her classes are vibrant and fun, while providing a true yoga experience with dharma, guided breath work and movement at your pace. She makes sure to say hello and chat with all her current and new students before every class. I am literally mind blown every time with how personable everyone is. I have also taken Danielle and Josh and both are equally amazing as well. I have never been able to find a studio with multiple instructors I love and I knew when I did at Flow I found my yoga home. This yoga studio is an absolute gem and has given me such an amazing experience over the past few months I am going to classes upwards of three times a week, which I have never done in the 10 years I've practiced. Flow is my go-to studio when I'm visiting my parents. They have two locations with rotating instructors and both spaces are lovely. They offer many classes throughout the week, mainly heated vinyasa. I've never taken a class with an instructor I didn't like. All staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The studio is always very clean and well kept. Super zen vibe the moment you walk in. I prefer this studio to the Mahwah location, but they're both very inviting. Highly recommend this studio for challenging flows and great mind-body connection. I appreciate how the classes here aren't "workout" focused as a lot of other studios are. What a gem of a studio tucked away in a complex of industrial buildings in Ho Ho Kus. I couldn't believe it, when I drove down Hollywood Ave through a very residential area and came to a clearing with these huge buildings! Once you cross the train tracks and reach the stop sign, turn left before the storage units and it's on the other side of that building. I think the obscure location allows them to provide a great value- beautiful studio, excellent teachers, and very reasonably priced class packages. The classes are heated but not hot, which allows you to get deeper into the poses but still gives you the ability to do more complex sequences (I always feel like I'm gonna pass out in hot hot yoga). There's a wide range of experience levels so wherever you are in your practice, you'll feel comfortable. I've been to a couple classes with different teachers who have different strengths. They also have live music classes, workshops, and more!! Class times are VERY convenient especially for this area- they have classes as early as 6am and as late as 7:45pm which is helpful for those of us who actually have to work during the day (believe me, I wish I didn't!) The studio provides free mats, blocks, straps, etc. They also provide towels and a cool aromatherapy towel at the end of class which is very refreshing. Flow Yoga, I'm so happy you exist. read more

Just had my first class. ZEN !!! The studio is open and inviting despite being in a industrial complex. This place is THE place for down dog. Walking in, you enter a sanctuary of calm. I can honestly say I've never felt more at home at a yoga studio. I am always craving not only the amazing classes at Flow, but also the incredible feeling I have when I leave the studio. I absolutely love this yoga studio. I tried a few in Bergen County, but now I only take classes here. Since I go to college in central NJ, I'm only able to drop in at Flow for the occasional weekend yoga class. The classes and staff at this place are amazing! As someone with an advanced home practice, I really appreciate being able to practice challenging poses in the regular class. For example, Ben Wisch always incorporates inversions (handstand, forearm stand, and headstand) into his classes. I haven't found this at other studios. But he offers many variations for all levels of students, making everyone feel comfortable. Also, I love the musicality of his classes. His flows are always synced with his music playlist and he plays the harmonium before class- so relaxing. In addition to their vinyasa heated classes, they also offer a level 2/3 class which is more advanced. I really enjoy taking this class with Amy. And last year I took an inversions workshop with Ben- I learned so much about alignment, preparation, and tips for inversions. The staff at Flow are very nice and the studio is pretty and clean. They sell water and Flow clothing, and have yoga equipment free to use (mats, blocks, straps, etc.). There's lots of free parking outside the studio. And their classes are reasonably priced. I really appreciate them having a $12 drop-in price for students. I always leave Flow classes feeling refreshed, challenged, like I got an amazing workout, and inspired to try new poses and transitions in my home practice. Thanks, Flow! read more

Wonderful experience my first time and so forth at this studio! Its tucked away behind the trains in Ho Ho Kus, but when you walk in to the studio it i perfectly quaint and serene. Noticed immediately that it was a very clean environment and was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. It was my first class and they graciously informed me and my friends about their student/teacher discount - which I thought was very kind of them and was a beyond reasonable price for the class we had that day! Ben taught a Hot Vinyassa Flow and it was the best hot yoga class I have attended yet! Perfect blend of focus and relaxation, his music was nicely timed with positions and timing of the class & when class ended I was shocked how quickly the hour+ had gone buy. He was a truly wonderful teacher - probably one of the best I've ever had! I quickly signed up for a 10 class package afterwards - this is a wonderful studio with convenient class times / courteous staff and amazing teachers who take the time to get to know all their yogi students! Would highly recommend this to any level of yogi (I would by no means call myself advanced, however in time with this studio who knows!) One thing I appreciated the most from this studio was the attention to what the class wanted to focus on and how Ben (and other instructors I've had since) were very kind to come over and help students strengthen their pose or possibly challenge themselves and try something new such as a headstand -- yet at the same time, if you don't want their attention or help they by no means are pushy about offering it! I have been coming to Flow Yoga since 2014. When I first moved from the city to Bergen county, I had a hard time finding a studio I connected with. Yogaworks was my studio of choice. However, at Flow Yoga, I love the zen like space, the teachers (Jason, Ben and Trella are just a few of my favorites), abundance of yoga props, and varied workshops. Everyone is so very welcoming. I was in town visiting family for a wedding and i was feeling like i needed a good workout after all the good east coast pizza i was eating. i am originally from Los Angeles and the pizza scene is terrible so i made sure to capitalize on all the good pizza on the east coast. i had a wedding to go to the next day and i started to regret all the carbs i had consumed because my outfit for the wedding consisted of a skintight bodycon dress that had no wiggle room. i decided to look for the nearest hot yoga studio and it was this one, Flow yoga studio. The drive there was a little weird because you had to pass a bunch of residential areas and then an industrial complex past some rail road tracks. Luckily i had my boyfriend and his brother with me to navigate me through because i am terrible at directions. we finally found it located in the back near another gym. i really didn't know what to expect, the weather at this point in new Jersey was 11 degrees so i was excited to step into a warm room. We didn't have our yoga mats since we are out of towners but they have rentals free of charge which is a huge plus, especially if you are new to yoga. we stepped into a room full of people. the class level was 2/3 so you had to have some experience so i was expecting a more challenging class with inversions and arm balances. i was right, Amy's class was very challenging and consisted of moves i have never done before. she uses more of the bikram style of yoga i believe where your toes are on the floor flexed during planks, this made the class much more challenging for me since i was not used to this style. the class ended and i was feeling absolutely amazing. we went to pay and i noticed on yelp that there was on offer for a free class with a check in, so the three of us used it and it saved us 60 dollars that we would have been more than happy to pay. all and all it was a great experience and the fact that i went to the class made me feel amazing in my dress. thank you flow studio for the amazing class and the outstanding customer service. read more

Flow yoga is a beautiful studio with heated and non heated classes and some of the best teachers in the area. It is meticulously clean and has an extremely open entry area, perfect for gathering before and after class. I'm happy to write a review for Flow Yoga Studio in HoHoKus, NJ as it's such a central part of my life. I had been previously practicing with Jason Zagaro, Ben Wisch, Trella and Andrew Dolgin and now they're all under one roof in addition to other great teachers. The studio is warm and beautiful and has an array of classes for all levels, heated and nonheated, as well as beginner series and fun workshops. Classes are mostly vinyasa style but seem influenced by many type of yoga such as hatha, dharma, bikram, and ashtanga poses. Classes can be as challenging as students want with options for inversions and arm balances, but always with options for newer yogis since the teachers are so supportive and encouraging. And now, in addition to the many yoga classes, are some terrific new barre classes! read more
