After having evacuated prior to Hurricane Irma making landfall, we came back to our business to find that, although power to the building had been restored, the AC was not working. Even though we had a few individuals, as well as companies, come by to assess the issue, we either never heard back or never received a formal quote, or we were told that they couldn't handle the job. The job in question was to replace a 15-ton condenser unit on the roof of the business. It appears that it sustained some kind of damage or trauma, and was beyond repair. It needed to be completely replaced. Enter Flow-Tech. Within an hour of me sending an e-mail to someone at the company, accompanied by photos and a description of the problem, I received a call from Mario, the owner. A few hours later Mario was at our store, and shortly after his site visit he had sent through a quote. When I asked what the turnaround time would be once we gave him the green light, he told me that it could be done within a couple of days. What a relief to hear considering that we are a retail music business and one facet of the business is music lessons. While the AC was out, the temperature in the store was in the mid to high 90s -- an untenable situation for employees, customers, and students alike. Punctuality and professionalism marked this project from step one through to completion. They even started the work one day before the date they had originally given us. It was absolutely incredible that with the amount of backlog of AC issues in Miami after hurricane Irma, that Flow-Tech was able to get the job started within 24 hours, and within 48 hours our AC was back to work. The hardest part of our project was getting the old condenser unit off the roof and the new unit up onto the roof. Flow-Tech was on site the morning after we had signed the paperwork (one day earlier than what was promised) with a crew of around a half dozen people and a crane. Mario stopped by a couple of times throughout the day to oversee the project personally. The crew expertly handled the whole process from start to finish. In addition, Flow-Tech's quote was between $10-15K less than what others had verbally quoted after inspecting the damage. Flow-Tech was able to make a modification to our existing air handler via installation of a new expansion valve, so that it would be compatible with and function with the new condenser unit, thereby saving us tens of thousands of dollars in the process. We are 10 days in to the new AC system, and it's working perfectly. Mario is extremely thorough and extremely knowledgeable, and aside from his professionalism and lightning-quick responsiveness, you're also getting an honest assessment of your needs, with options carefully explained to you, and work that is done at an extremely reasonable fee considering the quality of the work being done. read more

My in laws needed to replace their A/C unit so I shopped around and got up to five quotes. Then I remembered I had used FLOW TECH in 2002 to change the A/C unit in my restaurant. I called them and they set me up with an appointment the very next day with the owner. The owner showed up on time checked the entire house explained to us what size unit was needed for the house and all the technical specifications of the A/C unit we would be purchasing. My in laws stated to him that they wanted a bigger A/C unit and he explained to them that for the size of their house a bigger unit was not needed and that it would be a waste of money. Their techs are true professionals they installed the unit the very next day. FLOW TECH not only gave them the best service, warranty but the TRANE unit they sold them was better and cheaper them the other brand they had quoted them. I was so impressed by their service and prices that I replaced both of my A/C units in my house. Don't waste your time call FLOW TECH first....... read more

I encountered Mario with Flow-Tech when I was buying a house-- The bank tried to require us to install an AC system prior to closing. We felt uncomfortable with this, but as we'd already put time and money into the process, and were going to have to install AC anyway, we decided to comply. After getting three quotes, we went with Flow-Tech. When Mario went up in the crawlspace to measure and draw up the plans for the city, he noticed that the electric seemed.... wrong. Long story short, thanks to Mario, and not at all to our shitty realtor, property inspector, or BB&T, we found that nothing was done to code, the property had loads of code violations, open permits, and a lien on the property. Flow-tech could have proceeded with the installation, made his money, and we would have been stuck with the rotten egg house and all its costly problems. The other two AC guys saw the same issues and said nothing. Thanks Mario and Flow-tech! You're not the cheapest in town, but that's OK-- I trust you :-) read more

The work this contractor and distributor performed was beyond my most demanding expectations. The need to replace the old system came at the most inopportune time for me, but after Flow-Tech's work was finished, the expense became considerably less important in perspective. The new equipment is efficient and works multiple times better than what I've had to deal with for years, needlessly wasting money on electricity to boot. The new installation was completed in strict adherence to the schedule initially proposed. It was professionally designed, according to engineering calculations, installed, and completed meeting and exceeding my wildest expectations. I would recommend this company, the owner, its cadre of employees, and the Trane equipment to everyone looking for marked improvements in their air conditioning needs and eager to lower their electric bill. Everyone at the company is a pleasure to work with. Every step of the work was done and completed to my utmost satisfaction. (4-25-2013) read more

I was referred to Flow Tech by a friend in a time of great need - my A/C air handler was making some really loud noises for some time, and eventually it complete busted. It was a ridiculously hot day, and I work from home - ergo, no more work getting done, and already the fear of sleeping in 90 degree heat. Enter Flow Tech. A quick call to their offices was responded by Melissa, who quickly identified my unit based on some info she asked me to gather on the side. She let me know that my unit was still under manufacturers warranty, and the part would not cost too much. The labor was about 3 hours worth, at what I believed was a fair price. But the best part - they arrived in less than 2 hours, with the part in hand. 40 minutes later, my A/C was blowing wonderful, cool air throughout the hours, and I was assured that if any issues arose, they would take care of it. Saved the day, and about half a day of work for me. Thanks so much Mario & Melissa. read more

There is nothing worse than living in So. Florida and having your A/C unit just stop working during any part of the day or month. It wasn't until I started to deal with Flow-Tech A/C that I actually put their number on "speed dial". Having my own property and a couple of rental properties, a/c issues are bound to happen when you least expected. Flow-Tech a/c Corp. is the ONLY a/c company I have dealt with that has sent a technician out within hours of my call, and has followed up with me if weather or any other obstacle prohibits them from sticking to their time of commitment! Imagine that! Their service is great, their technicians are very professional and they make every effort to resolve the problem as soon as they step on your property. Their prices are very reasonable and quite frankly, if they were a bit more costly than any other company who says they will show up and wont....I definitely will pay the extra charge! Good going! read more

Great company. My air conditioning system was having all sorts of problems within the past year so I decided to finally upgrade and purchase a new unit. The old unit that came with my house was extremely old (probably from the 80's, who knows). I contacted Flow-Tech and set up an appointment. Mario (the owner) came out and took the measurements and provided me a few quotes via email in less than 24 hours. I ended up going with a 0% APR financing option on a brand new Trane system, which is somewhat pricey. After making my choice, we set up an appointment to get the installation rolling. The tech's came out and did an excellent job installing everything nice and neatly. These guys were very polite, professional and competent. Would definitely do business with Flow-Tech again. Happy with the purchase. Already seeing a huge difference on my electric bill. read more

My two year old (installed by Flow Tech) Trane unit wasn't cooling properly and the humidity in the house was staying higher than normal. I called them and explained what was going on. Melissa from their office tried to help and asked me some questions regarding the settings on the thermostat. She confirmed that everything was correct and scheduled the very next available appointment for me. They came by to diagnose at no charge (I'm a member of their Comfort Club) and they discovered that the coil had a leak. Two days later the techs came back and installed a new coil and re-charged the system. All of this covered under warranty. Since then, the unit is working exactly as it should. As always, Melissa was the consummate professional and the techs were (are) always courteous, friendly and tidy. Thank you Melissa and Flow Tech. E. Lynen Miami, Florida read more

My AC died in the middle of June. Not a fun experience when you live in Miami. I contacted Flow Tech after finding them on Trane's website as a preferred installer. I also contacted another local AC company listed by Trane and two other large store's who provide central AC work. Mario was the only one out of the four to actually go onto the roof to look at the unit. He was much more knowledgeable then any of the other representatives that I spoke with (I was correcting another sales rep the next day based on the information Mario had given me, which was confirmed by the reps supervisor). The work was done in one day professionally and with no mess left behind. Mario seemed more interested in providing a great service rather then trying to sell me a unit just to make money as the other companies made me feel. Would definitely recommend them. read more

I had a great experience with Flow Tech Air Conditioning in Miami, FL from A to Z. Before moving forward with my new air conditioning system, I wanted to make sure I knew exactly who was going to handle the installation, so I stopped by their shop in person. They're located at 7023 SW 13th Terrace Miami 33144. From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. I also met with the business owner Mehdi. They took the time to explain the process, answer all of my questions, and gave me complete confidence that I was in good hands. It's clear they care about the quality of their work and their customers' comfort. I'm so glad I chose Flow Tech - highly recommend them to anyone in Miami looking for a trustworthy company for AC installation! read more

If I could give them more than 5 Star rating, Mario and his crew would get them. I called trying to figure out what to do on a house that I planned to resell, after speaking to Mario, his advise was that of a true friend, not only did he save me thousands, but his HONEST advise surprised me to the core, as you would NEVER expect someone not to try to sell you something even if you really did not need it, at least not in Miami! Odalys sent out techs to check my system, they were super prompt, professional to the point that I received a text ten minutes before the tech showed up, letting me know he was on his way. They serviced my system, and here is the best part ***reasonable** you don't get ripped off! So there it is, 10 stars as far as I am concerned! read more

I've had a hard time finding a reliable and honest AC company here in Miami. Gave flow tech a call after the AC at one of my rental properties stopped working. They came out within a few hours of me calling. The tech spent about an hour and basically he just needed to flush out the system. Low and behold the ac started working again and hasn't had any issues in the past two months. The thing I really like about this company is they didn't push any unnecessary repairs. They only charged me about $125 to get everything working and I have no doubt that a lot of more unethical HVAC companies would have charged more and ended up up selling me on repairs that weren't needed. These guys are very honest and I will be using them in the future. read more

In need of replacing an old system with a high efficiency system I sought to receive four quotes from different vendors in the Miami-Dade area. Flow-Tech being one of my four, I had already been quite informed, all the way from mfgs, models, efficiencies and AHRI pairings. Two important facets outshined with Flow-Tech: Mario's attention to service before, during and after having had installed. It's now been 1.5-weeks since having had installed the units and reaching Flow-Tech for a simple request was once again followed-up by an expeditious response from Melissa, Flow-Tech's Operations Dept. Do your homework like me, or contact them from the get-go, you'll find your answers to your problems at Flow-tech. Rest assured. read more

My 15-year old AC unit was on its last leg, and I needed to replace it quickly (as summer was heating up). I was looking for good quality at a fair price and rarely, if ever, have I had such a positive experience as I have had with Flow-Tech. Mario and his team matched the best prices out there, and went far beyond what they needed to do in terms of a quality installation of a great product. I had some questions after installation and they had their technician out the very next day - again, who went above and beyond what was required. Incredible service at a great price. Really - Flow-tech's service was probably the very best I've seen of any company in South Florida. I can't recommend them any more highly! read more
