Chance is awesome! I'm a new pool owner and had no idea how to even turn on the equipment for my pool or care for it. Also, I knew the pool heater was broken before I bought the home. Chance to the rescue! I called him 2 days after moving in. He was at my house within 10 minutes and assessed the situation. Showed me how my pool worked and setup a regular weekly maintenance service (reasonable pricing!). In less than a week, he had a repair person out to replace the heater and by a week later he was out and cleaned everything out, including the filter and replaced the filters with shiny new ones. I came to know Flow State Pool Service when our pool heater decided to die the night before we were having friends and family over to celebrate a birthday. I called all of my pool contacts with the company I used for my weekly service, but I received no responses. I was in scramble mode knowing the heat was a must, but had few options since it was Saturday evening. After quite a few cold calls, Chance at Flow State Pool Service answered and didn't hesitate to run through some troubleshooting over the phone. Unfortunately, nothing was working and the only option that remained was an onsite service call. This is where Flow State went above and beyond... He was at my door ready to fix the heater at 8:00am on a Sunday morning!! He was able to replace a few parts and got us up and running in time to have a hot spa for the kids to play in!! As anyone who's reading this knows, there are 100+ companies out there that can show up on a weekly basis to perform service, but there was only 1 company that was willing to pause time with his family on a Sunday morning in order to save my family's special event... We purchased a home that had a pool. The pool guy had been servicing the pool for 15+ years so we trusted he knew what he was doing.... I had a few questions and hesitations and felt the pool was leaking. He continued to tell me it was my fault I wasn't filling our pool. Condescending at times even. Chance has been servicing our pool ever since our original pool person had to leave the profession for medical reasons. We had lots of pool service companies come to our home and give us quotes, but from the beginning Chance's professionalism and skill ability, as well as his eagerness to learn how to service a 'cold plunge,' was desirable. He has a great attitude, always shows up, is available by text for small questions, and takes care of our pool, spa, and cold plunge so I don't have to worry about it. For an extra (small) fee, he also takes off and puts back on our pool safety net, which was such a relief, and we were happy to pay that extra fee. Not many pool maintenance companies were willing to do that. He has kids himself and he knows how important the pool net is for safety. He also accepts payment digitally (Zelle, etc), so I don't have to worry about leaving a check for him. It's just so much easier to have a pool person that is digitally savvy and comfortable with technology, both with payment and with working the water systems.
