They gave us a time frame and called before coming. They also pre-provided the plumbers name who would be servicing our home and just some info about him like what his hobbies were. Great personal touch and we felt like we already knew him. There is a level of comfort there. The plumber quickly diagnosed what he needed to do when we told him what happened. He came in and quickly resolved our problem. A very nice polite young man who enjoyed his craft and is very knowledgeable. Lastly their price is VERY FAIR. Not expensive and that is also a plus. They originally wanted over $400.00 to install a new basket, which would have been under warranty, but only for 90 days. There was a slow leak, due to eroded sealant under the basket, between it and the actual sink. The plumbers were professional, and kind, but that price is horrific. And, of course, I paid it because I felt like I couldn't say no. I'm so mad at myself. I was expecting $150/200.00 for labor. I understand it is a specialized service and I am not discounting that, but considering it only took 30.00 mins, that is $275.00/hour.

The 2nd bathroom had a similar issue but the water could be cut off. The plumber arrived to give an estimate, which took nearly an hour and a half. After an hour he asked if there was another toilet in the house in which I showed the 3rd toilet. This took another 30 minutes before he came with 3 estimates ranging from $654-$2,999. This covered replacing 2 toilets for $2,999, or replacing 3 fill valves and a angle stop in one for $982 or repair the angle stop and adjust the fill valves for $654. It was not until I agreed on one of the options that the water was turned off. I saw the plumber with a shovel and tools in the middle of the yard, I went outside and asked what he was about to do and he said turn the water off once he located the water turn off. I advised the water meter was on the curb by the power pole, he stopped and went to the meter and turned the water off. He was there for about 3 1/2 hours doing the work. (9-12:45) The last issue was after leaving, the hot water was at a trickle so I notified the company around 1:05. The plumber called at 4:15 to advise he was 30 minutes away but remembered he forgot to turn the hot water heater back on and asked if I could go turn it back on. I asked if he could document that he asked me to turn it back on in case anything went wrong. He apologized and because it was late in the day on a Friday, I knew he did not want to come back. For what I was charged, and sitting there all day, I should have received a follow up call from him or the company.

She assured me that John can look and if needs to be fixed he will do that right there and then. 11/21/25, John came to my house, checking and claiming that my kitchen Faucet has to be replaced, when the leak was from the pull up/down section of the faucet (passed snap on connect). This by itself is fraud and deception. John also said he would run it with my warrantee company and let me know my portion of the cost. However, he added that Choice would possibly pay for builder's grade faucet and install at no cost to me. Then they abandoned the service call for the next few days. 11/25, I called and Jenna(e)? gave me three different to cost me. I asked for the estimate/ proposed billed be emailed to me. She said, "we do not do that." I asked, I need a detailed estimate before work. She refused. I asked to speak with Pamela, she also refused. But I agreed to buy my own faucet for John to replace and set up appt. for 11/28/25 - 9:00AM to 1:00. 11/26 she called me to say that they would not do it, it would cost me $2005. Then said $325.00, then said Choice would pay for $190 and I have to pay $205.
