She assured me that John can look and if needs to be fixed he will do that right there and then. 11/21/25, John came to my house, checking and claiming that my kitchen Faucet has to be replaced, when the leak was from the pull up/down section of the faucet (passed snap on connect). This by itself is fraud and deception. John also said he would run it with my warrantee company and let me know my portion of the cost. However, he added that Choice would possibly pay for builder's grade faucet and install at no cost to me. Then they abandoned the service call for the next few days. 11/25, I called and Jenna(e)? gave me three different to cost me. I asked for the estimate/ proposed billed be emailed to me. She said, "we do not do that." I asked, I need a detailed estimate before work. She refused. I asked to speak with Pamela, she also refused. But I agreed to buy my own faucet for John to replace and set up appt. for 11/28/25 - 9:00AM to 1:00. 11/26 she called me to say that they would not do it, it would cost me $2005. Then said $325.00, then said Choice would pay for $190 and I have to pay $205. I again asked for estimate, bill.. be emailed. she refused; speaking with Pamela was refused, return my initial service visit fee, she refused.... Then she hung up. She called Choice to say that I was rude and uncooperative. Sadly for Jenna, Pamela and the entire company, MY CALLS Get recorded. Also, in 5 minutes I took my new faucet head and replaced the leaky one, while videoing the process (no cost to me) and without Pamela's fraud. Video is large for uploading. There are still two pot lights in the kitchen that do not turn on or off, but they performed well in repairing the light switch boxes, repairing the outlet in the basement and, most of all, installing brand new smoke detectors throughout the house. The price was fair for the value received. The one-star reduction is for the two kitchen lights still not working.

I called on a Sunday, Eric responded- that was good. Said he could be here on Monday- he came determined what the problem was. Went to a plumbing supply house, but closed for Labor Day. Ok, so Tuesday he goes back to plumbing supply and finds out he has to order the Valve Stems to be replaced. Ok. They came in Thursday- And are installed- hmmm-need new handles and new stem sleeve. Ok he gets. Everything is put in. Handles are difficult to turn. He does an adjustment. Leaves. Sometime later I use the shower but wait- those new handles are still very difficult to turn on, especially the cold water one. I send text to Eric to please come over to readjust the tension on the two new handles. Well after many texts, no response, than response saying I will be there, but no show. Various days and times selected, never showed up. Has plenty of reasons why not. Answers text in untimely manner. The readjustment process is probably not more than a fifteen minute process. Said he would be here on the 19th, a Thursday. Never showed up. No text as to why. I texted him the next day. No response. I texted him the morning of the 21st, no response. Not waiting anymore. I called a different plumber to get the job done. Sent new text to Eric not to come over. No need to respond. I believe that he may know how to fix a problem but his business model needs to be greatly improved. And that's why the ONE Star Rating now!

They also replaced my pressure regulator for the high water pressure and the irrigation valves that were leaking. Once done, everything works perfectly and quietly! The family operated Affordable Plumbing company was prompt, respectful, and fair in their price. Not to mention, they stayed late into the evening to make sure what they started working on was done and done correctly.
