They make all their food in-house. So good. Their desserts are quite good. Recently had a small event and didn't feel like cooking. I supplemented with a gallon of their hearty vegetable soup, and their little desserts. The veggie soup was just too healthy to be popular with this crowd, so that was a bad choice on my part. The desserts were a bit hit. They have flowers, cute paper goods, great house made hamburgers, we go there often. Never disappointing, but much more expensive than Shaws or Market Basket. Having said that, we feel it is worth it.

My fiancé and I ordered our wedding cake through Flour(ish). The tasting was fantastic, everything was soooo delicious. Obviously, as a result of Covid 19, many of the details around our wedding crumbled before our eyes. It was extremely frustrating on every front. Vendors that were already paid weren't offering refunds (really diminishing what was supposed to be a special time for us) Flour(ish) is the literal 1 place that proactively accommodated us. We had to adjust the number of guests for our wedding, thus no longer required a cake for 100+ guests. Without hesitation, they offered to do a smaller cake and refund half the cost. Within a day, they issued the refund. I would 100% recommend Flour(ish) to everyone, based on cakes alone... it is truly a great bakery. Even more importantly, it's run by great people. Taryn at Flour(ish) Bake Shoppe was amazing to work with! As the bride I wanted to enjoy our wedding cake but I have lactose intolerance and really wanted a red velvet cake and she perfected it! It was amazing and none of our guest had any clue it wasn't a "traditional" cake! The design we wanted with simple white frosting with fresh flowers, showed her a photo and again she made it look gorgeous! A few weeks before the wedding we had a little budget left and wanted to surprise my now husband who is from Ohio with a grooms cake. The cake was beautifully done to match our moon and stars theme invitations and everyone raved over how delicious the pink velvet and lemon filled cupcakes were. They were delivered to our venue on time ( on a Sunday) by a very nice and helpful assistant who helped me set up the cake and cupcakes on our cupcake stand... you can't go wrong here ! read more

I should have listened to my wife. At the tasting the staff was unprepared, my then fiancée was not impressed with the tasting nor presentation and wanted to leave. Unfortunately I believed the owner when she said the cake would be perfect and meet our expectations. This place always has a line down the block at night, but it's good any time of the day. Their specialty is the ice cream sandwich. They don't make their own ice cream, but they make their own cookies. They also have snow cones. More importantly, these desserts can be yours for cheap! It's a sure-fire crowd pleasure.
