Jessie made us the most beautiful and delicious 3-tier wedding cake! It was exactly what we wanted. Jessie was a pleasure to work with from day one. She met with us in person, gave us an assortment of full-size cupcakes to sample at home, and drew up a sample of how our cake would look. Her expert opinion was spot-on regarding how big the cake should be for our number of guests (150). Additionally, Jessie's prices are the most fair that we could find in the area. We will be going to her for all our bakery needs!

Everything went well! Jess was AMAZING! The birthday cake and smash cake she made my daughter was absolutely beautiful! It was EXACTLY was I envisioned! I'm so grateful I found her! Actually, one of my best friends used J Cakes as well, but for her wedding, which was how I even found out about her! All the cakes she makes were SO delicious and gorgeous!! I will be back!

Truly top notch, the yule log last year was better than I could've imagined! Everything else I've gotten there has been amazing as well.

TRULY AMAZING!!!!!!!! I tried two different cake vendors who were in the area of my venue, and both cake tastings left me very disappointed. I got in touch with JCakes, and they were super responsive, way better priced than any other vendor, and very easy to work with. Once I picked up a cake tasting box, it was solidified that I was going with them for my wedding cake. Every cupcake in the box was delicious, and they offered me a free bridal consultation where I came in to work with them on the look of the cake and the different flavors. We ended up going with a three tier, semi naked cake, with three cake flavors - vanilla with lemon mousse and blueberry preserves, carrot cake, and marble cake with chocolate mousse. The cake was delivered on time the day of the event, and they set it up for me (added florals provided by my venue and put on the cake topper). We had a 40 person wedding, and the cake served about 50 people, and there was not a single leftover. I would highly highly recommend working with Jcakes - they were above and beyond any other cake vendor I reached out to in terms of service, taste, value, and price.

I had ordered a cake during the middle of the pandemic for my daughter's baby shower. This was the first grandbaby being born to our family. With social distancing I ordered this cake online site unseen never used this company before was referred through the Billerica moms group. They not only made this cake absolutely Delicious, but it had two different types of feelings even the top of the cake was edible. The picture I sent the top was originally made out of cardboard. They deliver this to Portsmith New Hampshire to a hotel on February 20, 2021. I received so many compliments on this cake. I would use them again for any function that my family has. The staff was extremely professional from beginning to end.

Ordered our first cake in September for our daughters birthday we honestly couldn't have been happier with the aesthetic of the cake! I mean look at it, simply gorgeous! The downside was that the donuts themselves we inedible so stale it was embarrassing at the party after kids literally fought over them. We were bummed and maybe this should have been disclosed when we ordered? However it will not stop us from placing another order in the future!

"Under the Sea" theme birthday cake

We have had J Cakes make so many of our special cakes over the last few years and we've been so, so impressed. We typically order a cake and cupcakes for my daughter's birthdays, christening cakes, etc. The designs that Jessie and her team come up with are outstanding. They are always so high quality and perfectly done--everyone at our events always comments on how incredible these cakes are. The taste is also perfection; super moist with delicious buttercream and so many options to boot. Our personal favorite combo is chocolate with the fresh raspberry mousse. We will absolutely be ordering from J Cakes again and again!

This bakery did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job on my wedding cake!! The owner was super sweet and answered all of my many questions very promptly. Any request I had, she accommodated with pleasure. And the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful!!

Apple cider, strawberry shortcake, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes

Was able to order two dozen cupcakes last minute for my brothers welcome home party! They were quick, accommodating, and the cupcakes were delicious and so beautiful! And also excellently priced. Couldn't be happier with my experience. They are now my go to. Thank you j cakes for your help!

I did notice they also had a refrigerated section with prepared foods like pastitsio and moussaka. It's a small shop, but very clean and has very interesting food at every corner. Everything was very fairly priced. The baklava is la carte. I got a small assortment of about 7 small-medium sized pieces of baklava and my total came to under $20. The girl behind the counter assured me that the majority of what I bought stays fresh for weeks or even months and she gave me storage tips for the custard I purchased. I will def be back!

A place that you would order your birthday cakes, pastries, cookies, breads, deli sandwiches, and of course pan pizza. Alice of pan pizza is a popular breakfast or lunch option! In addition, there are quiches, calzones, these amazing looking loaf cakes, pies, cannoli, deli salads, and much more! Just being open on a Sunday was a huge plus. We need to pick up some sandwiches for an early lunch. We ordered large (only $1 more than small) and they are ginormous! Definitely shareable or enough for a second meal! We ordered a side red potato salad. And of course a pound of cookies / biscotti! Everything tasted great! I hope we have time for a second visit during our trip! It was very busy around 930am on a Sunday morning. Very organized and well staffed for the business. Most were picking up pre-orders (cake, etc.). Ordering sandwiches wasn't an issue that early and pans of pizza were out! Love the East Coast and surely miss it! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Most of the customers seemed like local regulars! That says a lot too! Parking is very easy. Large lot shated with another business. Front and then a larger lot on the side. Nice as most parking in this area (including Marblehead and Salem) is street parking only, very few lots! There are plenty of tables for dining inside. Our next will.be hot sandwiches and/or pan pizza and calzones!

My family and I have dined at Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton several times over the years,…read moreand we've always had very enjoyable experiences. That's why we were really looking forward to returning for our Easter Sunday meal. To start on a positive note, the service was excellent as always, and we were seated at a lovely table by the window. The appetizers were also very good and set the expectation for another great meal. Unfortunately, things changed when the bread arrived--it was extremely hard and dry, to the point where it was difficult to eat. While that was disappointing, we moved on, hoping it was just a minor issue. When the entrées came out, some dishes--particularly the pasta, fish, and chicken--were good. However, the two meat dishes at our table were a real letdown. The veal Parmesan chop was unusually tough, which is surprising for veal, as it's typically very tender. My prime rib had the same issue--also tough and not what you would expect from that cut of meat. When the owner or manager checked in, I chose not to raise these concerns at the table in front of my guests. But in hindsight, I feel it's important to share this feedback. The quality of the meat, especially for dishes like veal chop and prime rib, should be consistently tender and carefully sourced. We've had some excellent meals here in the past, and we truly enjoy the location, ambiance, and consistently strong service. Because of those positive experiences, we're willing to give it another try. However, we do hope this was just an off meal, as consistency--especially with key ingredients like meat--is important. We'll be back once more, and hopefully, it will reflect the high standards we've come to expect.

Good muffins whose calling card for most is a layer of cream filling sandwiched in. -- Blueberry Muffin: Great crispness on the majestic overhang expansive enough to provide shelter from the rain. Nice subtle flavor that doesn't try to trick you with sugar, but it's lacking fat to make it sufficiently moist. Fruit seems frozen. No spheres with burst of juiciness. -- Gingerbread Muffin: More of a pumpkin spice flavor than full gingerbread. Similar characteristics in being a little dry, not being too sweet and having good crunch. The cream layer is a buttercream similar to white cake frosting, with maybe a hint of cream cheese.
