Instead of just taking them, the employee told me I needed to carry everything over to another area near the trash cans. Obviously, walking another 10 feet isn't a big deal. What bothered me was that after tipping $3 and then going out of my way to bring everything back inside, the staff essentially couldn't be bothered to take the tray the last few feet themselves. I was living in San Francisco when her episode aired, so when we moved to Santa Rosa and my husband mentioned a bakery he frequents in Healdsburg, I hoped it was hers. He couldn't remember the name, but when he pulled it up on his phone's map, it was Quail & Condor! Imagine my delight. I'd wanted to try it for years, and he'd been bringing it home all along. Everything lived up to my expectations. He brought home a chocolate croissant, a cookie, a kouign-amann, and an oatmeal cream pie, and every single thing was delicious.
