If I could review this place with 0 stars I would. They will not provide any sort of paperwork until AFTER you pay in CASH ONLY. This is the most unprofessional company. The employees are very rude and do not know manners at all! I treated them with nothing but respect and manners and in turn got an attitude and rude responses, hung up on and then the window slammed in my face and threatened to trespass after requesting any type of bill to see what was being charged before releasing funds. At any other place you receive some sort of bill before paying for services/goods whatever it may be. I do not know how this company is still in business nor do i think it is okay that the state and/or the sheriffs office backs a company like this there is 4-5 different tow companies listed that work out of the same office. read more

the lady on the phone claiming to be a manager has an absolutely disgusting attitude, began cursing me out and screaming repeatedly at me when I requested information on how to go about getting my car out of their lot. no professionalism whatsoever and claiming she was just going to keep my car if I couldn't figure out how to get it out on my own. My wife got into an accident a couple days ago and her car was taken from the scene to the tow yard. That being said when we got there earlier today to sign the release to our insurance for the attorneys she was very blunt. However it wasn't until we told the front desk that we just needed to retrieve our personal effects and take pictures for our attorney that she then began to be extremely belligerent with me and shouted that we were not allowed to take pictures immediately after she seemed to throw our licenses back at us. On Sunday we went to the yard to retrieve personal items and called the number on the gate. We answered by this rude woman, who said we have to come back Monday. We came back Monday called the office and she said read the sign on the gate for the office location. We went to the office, and she was very rude to my wife and I refusing to let us get our personal items claiming the car was impounded. The car was in an accident Saturday night and was not impounded. She claims we were rude to the driver. We were not as we ask the driver to put the car in neutral not just drag it across the road and damage the transmission. He said he could not. I wish I had reviewed the Yelp reviews as other people had similar experiences. I also think they represent other towing companies. Please do not use this towing service. read more

Tow yards have a bad rep anyways and this fits all the categories. Very rude and aggressive receptionist. You are very unlucky and one step away from homelessness if your vehicle ends up here. Only release the vehicle to the owner too, so they make more money. And only take cash. 2 stars instead of one because Mike's towing is good and fair. read more

If we could give this company a negative number we would. My son was in an accident. The policy department sent this company to tow his truck. He voluntarily allowed them to tow it to their location until he could decide where to send the truck for repair. Now they are charging him close to $300 for towing and a supposed impoundment fee. They say the policy impounded it, which is an outright lie. He gave them permission to tow to their location, not the police. Now they want another $60 to tow to another location. Also, this happened on a Friday afternoon. They are closed on the weekend, so he would not have been able to access his truck to tow it if he had wanted to, but they are still charging impound fees for those 2 days. The receptionist was very rude and uncooperative. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

A woman answered the phone claiming to be the supervisor . When asked a few questions she was very rude. Even raised her voice . When I tried to explain to her that I do not know the laws in Florida and am just trying to find out for my ex husband (father of three of my kids) she told me to go "break some more laws" and was incredibly nasty and insensitive. Very unprofessional , and I hope she realizes that the way she treats her customers can have a negative impact on their young children around the holiday. when confronted about her attitude she justified it with "I deal with the nasty public everyday " . That does not give her the right to be nasty immediately with every person that calls . She needs to find a new job if she can't handle dealing with the public. Florida towing was called by Vero Beach police dept. after my daughter was involved in a minor accident last Saturday night. We went down Sunday to get car and they were closed. Called on Monday to pick up car and was tpld charge was $193. They were charging us for 2 days storage even though they've only had the car 36 hours and were not available on Sunday. When I expressed myself letting them know that that was outrageous I was told " thats not my problem" these guys are crooks and should be avoided at all times. read more

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! The absolute WORST experience. The man that answers the phone for dispatch is the most unprofessional and rude person I've ever dealt with in my entire life. It was so bad I literally thought I was on a prank call waiting for the man to laugh and say he was joking. I only called looking for information on a vehicle that was possibly towed by them or two others companies, just narrowing down which company, not a complex call. As he was speaking I couldn't help but wonder to myself, if his employers know how he is handling their calls and representing them. Whoever owns this company, I hope you take these reviews serious, read them, and take it into consideration what the customers are saying. This man is answering your business line, and is poorly representing your company. I would just like to share my experience with Florida towing. My car was involved in an accident that I was not aware of. The sheriffs office had my car towed to their lot. I went to the yard to inquire about my car and to see who had the keys to my car. ( my house keys, mail keys and car keys) I am not feeling comfortable that someone has all of these keys . I am elderly and live alone. I entered the office and the receptionist informed me that I needed to step outside the door and go to the window. I then explained my situation to her . She was extremely cold and informed me that no one could help me. That everyone was gone for the day . The sign in the door said they were open until 5 pm . It was not 5 ! The office had two men and two women inside. I asked her to please radio the driver to please find my house keys. She then closed the window and in my face and ignored me. I had no choice but to leave and wait until Monday to get my keys and belongings. They are the coldest people I have ever dealt with. Do not recommend using them. I will also report them to BBB. read more
