This was my first time in the new location. I have been seeing the doctor for quite a few years now…read moreand I originally saw him in the Davenport location. Lately I had been going to the Clermont location because of availability. The only place to new address was listed was in a text message reminding me of the appointment and I missed it. On the website they still have the old address listed but they were easy to find because they are in the same complex. I inform them of the error and hopefully they will fix it soon. As for seeing the doctor I have been very happy with the service I have received from the doctor himself and all the support staff. I met someone new working the front counter on my visit who answered the phone when I called in the morning to make sure that I was having an in-person appointment and not telemedicine. She was very helpful answering phones while also working the front counter and handling patients on the way out. Everything moved very smoothly and it was the busiest I have seen one of their offices on any visit. My doctor has always listened to what I had to say and explain things very efficiently for my treatments.

LONG WAIT for Appointment: You can make an appointment right away but expect it to be MONTHS (and…read moremonths) away before you get to see a doctor . . . if you even Think you're going to need to see a kidney specialist, then make the appointment. I don't recall if I needed a referral but if you do, then do your best to set appointment prior to getting the referral from you PCP; you are going to need a blood test prior to visit. Once I was seen, I wondered what the wait was all about . . . visit was over in a flash. I am taking the same meds that had been prescribed by my PCP.

I tell everyone I meet how caring and supportive I have felt since joining Dr. Canlas's practice 3 years ago! If he says I do something, I try my best to do exactly that! I have updated my review from last time. The one staff…read moremember that helped me was Felicia. I'll admit I only have a certain time that I can make appointments. I do not have flexibility at my job. When I first called, the young lady might have been frustrated that a specific Doctor that I wanted to see did not have the hours that I was available. Then, Felicia picked up my call and was patient with my needs. To me, she is a winner. Thank you Felicia. We went to the Boynton office to see Dr Silverstein. She is patient and caring. Well worth seeing her if you need to.

I started seeing one of their doctors a few years ago at another location but switched to this one…read moreas it became more convenient. I have been very happy with their services and have had totally positive experiences. I had some kidney issues a few years back and they got me straightened out fairly quickly. Because of my diabetes and a couple other problems I ran into some issues a couple months back and have been in once a month or so since. Today my kidneys have bounced back to better than they were over a year ago. The combination of different doctors I am currently seeing have been working together and keeping me alive. Dr. Bao Huynh has been great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date on test results. He explains things so I can easily understand what is going on. If you are in need of a nephrologist this is a good choice for anyone.

As a migraine and asthma sufferer I get extremely sick when I go there bc they use at least one maybe several plug ins in the office. I have discussed with them how awful this is for sufferers of asthma and other conditions. That it can literally cause me to have an asthma attack. They did not care while I was there. I wrote to the office manager an I am attaching their reply. Not only is it bad for those with health issues but it is bad for everyone. So many toxins in them and even if that wasn't the case for everyone, if it is a known irritant and health issue for those with certain conditions, I am not sure why they would continue to use them especially after there have been complains. Absolutely horrible practice.
