I gave him a Chance to fix the car even offered to pay half of what he was charging me almost 1k when everyone else wanted 700. very very bad attitude takes no blame whatsoever for he's work. the car only has done 1,400 miles since the transmission work and 6 months as this is a vacation vehicle. when I tried to pick up my vehicle it wouldn't start, they had killed my battery idk doing what. Had to wait a day for him to restart my vehicle. fyi also took forever when he first worked on the transmission. Almost a month.

He claimed I "won the lottery" because there was supposedly no engine damage, despite the fact that a belt failure on a Honda V6 almost always results in the valves hitting the pistons. Being skeptical, I performed my own inspection. I had personally installed a new OEM Honda timing belt only four months ago and was confident in the work. When I pulled the top timing cover, I found the belt I installed was still perfectly intact. There was no evidence of a snapped belt, a seized water pump, or a failed pulley. I was charged over $1,100 for a timing belt replacement that clearly didn't happen. Based on the symptoms, I believe the actual issue was a simple fuel pump fuse--a repair that should have cost less than $200, including diagnostics. I have recommended Leasure automotive to over 100 people over the last 20 years because I believed he was honest and above board. I actually started working on my own cars in 1979 specifically because a mechanic ripped me off back then; it is a shame to see a shop I trusted for so long compromise their integrity like this. I am sharing this so others can be aware of my personal experience.

My TStat had been acting up and causing my truck to overheat in idle/below 10mph forcing me to pull over every few minutes to let the engine cool down. I limped into Big 3 at 3:30 pm fully aware that I was most likely not going to be able to get my truck in and out by close. I do all my research on my trucks so I have a pretty solid idea of what is causing the issues I am having when they arise. Spoke with Joe and told him the situation I was in and what I believed the issue to be. He was able to get one of his techs to install a new tstat and get the coolant drained in an hour and a half, getting me out the door with a perfectly running truck by 4:45.
