Don't bring alterations here. I brought two pairs of pants to get taken in at the waist and the alterations were very poorly done.

This review is for laundry cleaning of shirts. I've had my shirts cleaned here a few times. Cost is $2.50 per shirt. Make sure you say laundry, if not, its like $3.25. Customer service is great. CASH ONLY. TIP: Always bring your pink ticket slip, when picking up your clothes. They like it when you do, and it makes their jobs easier. I dropped off my laundry, and they not only had it finished same day , but folded it and wrapped the clothing too. I've been going to this place for 8 years. I live in the north part of SF now and still drive all the way down to the deep mission to get my dry cleaning done. I've had stuff tailored and repaired here before to perfection. Apparently their seamstress is the sister of the "mom" of this mom and pop operation and is a master seamstress. An example of how great their service is, I moved out of the country for three years and apparently left some shirts there. When I moved back to the country and showed up with a lot of dry cleaning, they said hey welcome back, are you here to finally get your cleaning? To my surprise, they had a few of my favorite shirts that I was reunited with after many years. That my friends, is how you get 5 stars on Yelp and a lifelong customer. read more

If you're a zany so-and-so like Yours Truly, you'll pronounce the name of this place "Flo Rida" cleaners in an homage to the great Floridian rapper, and joke to yourself that this is THE place to take your Apple Bottoms jeans, and your boots with the fur. Then, after you chuckle to yourself, you realize that you're alone, on 25th street, with a pile of unwashed clothes. Overcome that unpleasantness with a sigh and step into a world of competent wash 'n' fold ($0.95/lb) and respectable dry cleaning services. Both services are more expensive than you'll find elsewhere in the neighbourhood ($4 for a dress shirt) but they have a quick turnaround and they are congenial. On the alterations front, I had a long-sleeved fleece patched once and they only did a so-so job, but for your laundry they can be trusted. Bring cash; they don't take cards. Obligatory Title Pun: Shawty got clothes, clothes, clothes, clothes, clothes... Menu Readability: Doesn't really apply in this case. Or any dry cleaner for that matter. Y U NO POST PRICES? This is the quintessential mom and pop operation. $.75 a pound for wash and fold and fast same day service. They even matched all my socks. If only they were open on Sunday. More importantly these are 2 of the nicest people around. That seems to be a rarity in the wash and fold landscape. Their english is not the best so keep the sentences short and smile. read more

I finally decided to try this place years ago when I was so behind in laundry and had no time to do it for at least another week. I'd been driving past this place everyday on my way to work with their sign "Same Day Wash & Fold" singing out to me. I brought in a ridiculously huge bag of laundry and I assured the man behind the counter I would understand if it wouldn't be ready until the next day. He smiled and assured me it would be ready at the end of the day, and it was! I have met other family members here and they've all been so nice and gone out of their way, even helping me carry my huge bag back to my car. This place is cash only, so make sure to bring some with you when picking up. They also have the best price I've come across in the city. They deserve 5 more stars! read more

I accidentally locked my roommates cat in my room for the day. When I was greeted with frantic meowing, upon opening the front door, I knew something was wrong. When I realized that meowing was coming from my room I knew I was fucked. She did what any good cat would do in that situation...she revenge peed all over my brand new down comforter. The comforter didn't have any washing instructions so I looked up a bunch of shit on the internet and found a method for machine washing and that dry cleaning was generally preferred. However, in my anxiousness, I needed to get a mom's advice. Unfortunately my mom was on vacation in the no cell phone reception state of Maine. So I called my life long best friend's mom, and her advice was to throw it out. Really? Fuck!! I wasn't really satisfied with that so I decided to at least try dry cleaning it. I was shocked that they were only going to charge me 35 dollars for a queen plus down comforter. I thought it was going to be double that at least. They said it would be ready Saturday. It was ready Friday, and lo and behold, no stain, no odor. YUS!! read more
