From start to finish, the entire team was reliable, on time, and within budget--something truly rare in construction. The management team, Jeff, Vitt and Justin, were fantastic partners throughout the process. Their architect, Valerie took all of our ideas and turned them into a design that exceeded our expectations, creating the dream home we hoped for. They guided us through key decisions, from fixtures to finishes, and connected us with excellent local suppliers like Mission Tiles in Soquel. They utilized Oxford Cabinets, who created an amazing custom kitchen and dry bar for us that perfectly complements our open-plan dining, kitchen, and living area. Their craftsmanship truly elevated the space. We couldn't be happier with the final result and highly recommend this team to anyone considering a custom home.

Their use of an online project management platform meant that we were never left wondering what was happening on any given day or what was next on the to-do list. Like most remodels, there were unexpected issues that needed to be addressed, but the CBB team was quick to offer solutions and keep the project on schedule. We were living onsite for the project and can attest that the CBB crew and all subs were punctual, efficient, polite, and kept the job site clean. They were so kind, put up with our constant questions, crazy kids, curious cats, and barking dogs! I can't say enough good things about CBB and recommend them to everyone embarking on a construction project.

His team are all professional, considerate, punctual, hard working, protectionists, and very very clean. Surprising right? You think major home remodeling work and "clean" is not at all what comes to mind. While they worked they were tidy with the demo and the end of each day, the only evidence they were there was that finally this big mess I had for several years was FINALLY looking nice. Gabriel was easy and quick to respond back to all my questions and inquiries and was also consistently very easy to get ahold of. He was nice enough to explain things to me in ways that I could understand and the project actually took less time than he first told me. I have always had the experience that whatever time you are quoted, you add a couple days to a couple of weeks. Not with Gabriel. I've recommended him to all my friends and will definitely use him again. Give him a try, you will not be disappointed!!

He didn't rush through the list, he took the time to make sure repairs were completed properly and looked great when finished. He also offered practical recommendations when there was a better solution than the quick fix. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Even when Derek had to leave town for the weekend, he made a point to follow up, stay in touch, and ensure everything kept moving forward. That level of professionalism and accountability is hard to find. The quality of the work was outstanding, the pricing was fair, and the entire experience was stress-free. It's clear that Derek and Danny take pride in his work and genuinely cares about his customers. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Big Iron Handyman again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality handyman services with transparent pricing

One place quoted me almost 11 grand and wanted to replace half the roof! Another place "had minimums" and wouldn't take any jobs less than $3500.00! Derek and Danny were able to quickly diagnose the problem and were able to fix the leak for $1600.00. While they were up there they noticed I had a LOT of broken Spanish Tiles and a lot of holes in the Mortar along the Roof line. Derek used 3 buckets of Mortar and sealed every major hole In the Mortar and replaced 19 broken Spanish tiles. Spanish tile roofs are great and can last up to 100 years but only as long as there are no breaches! Every hole in the Mortar and every one of those 19 cracked tiles was a potential leak in the future. They gave me a very fair price for all the work and their bid to completely overhaul the Roof came in on par with what other companies were charging to fix the leak alone. They also do Gutters! The right way! With Solder! I really only asked to have two seams soldered but Danny went around and re-soldered every single seam that was leaking and even patched over a hole in the bottom of one of them. So that's another headache job I can cross off the list. They have many other skills as well including all types of Carpentry and I would trust them to do anything for me that needed doing. Derek and Danny strike me as very honest hard working guys who are trying to build their business by providing quality work for a fair price and by going above and beyond what is expected. As I said. Very happy to have found these guys! I'm getting older now and I needed some Handy guys who will do good work and treat me fairly. know I will have plenty of work for them in the future. I would highly recommend them!
