I recently had to undergo a deep cleaning--a procedure I've unfortunately had to endure at least four times before. Let's just say, it's never been something I've looked forward to. Add to that a history of unpleasant dental experiences and the retirement of my long-time dentist, and I had truly grown fearful of even routine cleanings. I stayed with my former dental office out of familiarity, but with a rotating staff of dentists and hygienists, it never quite felt right. After being referred to a periodontist once again and letting another year slip by in fear... I finally took a leap and began searching for new specialists in my area. That's when I found Drs. Nason & Lopez, and I'm so grateful I did. From the very first phone call, I felt seen and heard. The person who answered had the warmest, most comforting voice -- like a sweet grandma -- and she truly listened to my story. She found me an appointment quickly, and just a week later, I was in their office. And WOW... every single person I encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and personable. The energy in the office was warm and reassuring. Even the woman who took my X-rays was amazing -- gentle and patient. The periodontist clearly explained every step of my treatment and the timeline ahead. I didn't have a single question because everything was communicated so well. For the first time in a long time, I felt completely at ease. Now... I must give a special shoutout to my hygienist, KATIE -- an absolute rock star! She made both of my appointments smooth, gentle, and (believe it or not) enjoyable. Her playlist was so good I almost wanted to sing and dance -- while she was scraping! That's how soothing and skilled she was. This was by far the most comfortable deep cleaning I've ever had. I'm beyond thankful I found this office. They've restored not only my gum health but also my confidence in dental care. I wish them continued success -- they're truly in the right profession, and it shows in everything they do. They have been the most gentle ever. Both hygienist I've had the pleasure of meeting were nice and so very gentle. They continued to ask me throughout the process how I was doing and if I had any pain. I truly appreciated that. Then today I had my first filling with Dr Maser. He heard my concerns about feeling everything while he filled my cavity. I never felt anything. His dental assistant made sure to keep checking to see how I was doing and well as Dr Maser. It was so refreshing to not feel any pain and my teeth look beautiful I could just cry. If you are contemplating coming here just do it. Dr Maser and his staff are amazing human beings. I can't wait to get the rest of my teeth filled!!

I had a family member who had a procedure in this office. When Dr Burbank started the procedure I…read morenoticed that my family member showed some distress while the dentist was in his mouth. I stated that my family member could feel the procedure. The dentist eventually stopped and asked his assistant for more meds. While the dentist was looking at the computer screen, he called me mom, I wasn't sure who he was talking to, because he could have said ma'am, but he did not. So he goes on to say that I need to sit over there and shut up and not say anything. I was shocked by what he said to me. All because I saw that my family member was in distress. He then proceeded to tell me to get out. I was not combative or rude to him. He asked the assistant to go get the office manager, who had stopped by the room and spoke before the procedure started. I decided to leave the room because I did not want my family member to be mistreated or stressed even more. As I talked to the office manager, I expressed how unprofessional and rude it was for the dentist to talk to paying customers that way. They said that the dentist had never acted that way before, well I guess that day was his day to show the person that he really was. I wonder how many other people he has talked to that way. All of this happened because I spoke up for my family member. I will NEVER use this company! In all of my years here on earth not one doctor or dentist has ever been as rude and demeaning as Dentist Burbank.

I had two gum grafts and from start to finish was impressed by the professionalism and wonderful service in the office. I initially received the quote for the work and was able to schedule the appointment without delay. Everything went just as explained with the procedure (and cost) - the high tech office setting coupled with the calm presence of Dr. Van Scoyoc made the procedure, frankly, pretty darn easy. I was given follow-up instructions which, since I followed, meant no hiccups in my recovery. Based on my experience I highly recommend Dr. Van Scoyoc.
