Linzey is a very talented florist and exceptional business woman who did the florals for my 11/6/2021 La Quinta wedding. I originally hired Linzey back in 2019 for a 2020 wedding - the pandemic hit and she kindly helped navigate the situation and go through THREE rescheduled dates with me! Throughout this process she was very quick to respond to emails, great communication, organized quote / booking process, and great communication. Fast forward to 2021, as my wedding was approaching and now we were facing a massive flower shortage. Despite huge supply challenges in the industry, she used her network/creativity to secure all the colors and even specific blooms that I wanted for my wedding. I have multiple friends getting married in the same timeframe, none of which had florists who were still able to execute like Linzey. I was blown away by her creativity in substitutions, beautiful design, and ability to understand my vision. She went above and beyond to make my wedding beautiful. Wow! How do I begin to explain just how amazing Linzey is? I found Linzey after I had a meeting with another florist, I thought this florist understood my vision but when she sent me mock ups I was floored how off she was. I was nervous no one would understand my vision and wow was I wrong- in came Linzey. It's like she reached into my brain and created EXACTLY what I had been envisioning. We texted and emailed a ton over the 6 months or so leading up to my wedding. She continuously sent me inspiration pics, vases pics, we bounced ideas back and forth, you name it! I felt like she truly understand what I was going for, the vibe, the colors, everything. I live in Orange County and Linzey is San Diego based. We had some other vendors who were also located in SD and Linzey went above and beyond her florist duties and even coordinated meeting up with other vendors to pick up items for me to save me drives down that way. She didn't want just the flowers to turn out amazing, she was doing anything she could to make our entire wedding amazing! And to top it off - when a groomsmen ripped a huge hole in the crotch of his pants within an hour of our ceremony, Linzey jumped in and even sewed his pants for him! She truly was the Wonder Woman of our wedding! I don't have all of my professional photos back yet but can't wait to share how much I loved her. We received so many compliments on our gorgeous bar florals and I was told by family, friends, and other vendors that my bouquet was their favorite they had ever seen. Other florists were wanting to charge me for every stem and leaf (we wanted quite a few tropical leaves), but Linzey showed up the day of with a ton of extra leaves and flowers just to make sure nothing looked bare or empty. She ended up decorating our cake table, cocktail tables, and guestbook table, all just because she brought extra florals for us, I mean wow! Other florists were charging hundreds for a few leaves. So you have read the glowing reviews from the ladies so here is a male perspective review. Spoiler alert, it is also glowing. If you are a guy looking into what flower arranger(?) you would like to use then trust me, you don't even have to read past this point, just hire Linzey and crack a beer for your efforts. Hint: Make sure you log at least 30 minutes of observed intent staring at the computer time before proposing this recommendation. If you would like more specifics, watch for the changes and try to keep up: #B2TF Like most men, I would imagine, when the wife to be and/or wedding planner asks for your input on what flowers you like your face is more white than a mayonnaise sandwich with crusts cut off. I just froze and said "how about you use your botanical super powers to find a flower as pretty as my fiancé".... Plus one for me. Feel free to use that if you like. Like hiring any professional, Linzey will make this usually over thought decision making process super easy. Thats what you are paying them for right? Where her professionalism expertise come in is in all the aspects you wouldn't think of, for example, what flowers are in season for the time of year/climate the wedding is in, what colors will work with the dresses/suits, what will accent the cake, when to pick up the flowers and which ones to refrigerate, and so on. She will take all these specifics and create beautiful arrangements for arches and center pieces, boutonnières, bouquets, and other French named pretty things. But wait, there's more, this is where where she knocked my socks off, she took the time to get to know me and my wife to be. She knew my fiancé liked protea and that I liked guns so what did she do? She hand made had an awesome bridal bouquet for the lady with a giant protea in it and for my guys she painstakingly packed flowers and succulents into spent .308 cartridges.
