What an amazing florist! Luz went "above and beyond" delivering a gorgeous orchid plant and three mylar balloons to my 96 year-old mother! My mom refuses to wear a hearing aid, and after trying to call the day nurse several times on Friday, Luz decided to go to my Mother's house late Saturday afternoon, and the nurse answered the door and Luz even greeted my mother. Wow! This place is just a gem in the sea of flower shops in the Escondido area. I stopped by here last minute on the way home. It was my fiancées anniversary and I wanted to get her hydra-jus, her favorite flower. I called here as I was leaving work and confirmed if they even had the type of flower I was looking for. Do not be discouraged by the fact that this place is a small shop in a parking lot. We recently had a wedding and we used the Posy Peddler as our florist. We had looked a bunch of other florists but many had 1)crappy flowers and designs or 2)super expensive pricing. Posy Peddler had great flowers at an excellent price. After stopping by their shop one day, we emailed them and arranged for a meeting. We met at the liquor shop next to them in the parking lot (family or friend owned) and sat in the meeting room upstairs. Jeri has great ideas and arranged an excellent theme based on the little info about the things we knew we wanted. Jeri kept us in budget without compromising on quality. I would definitely use the Posy Peddler again. After our meeting, we kept in touch through email. On the day of the wedding, all the flowers were set up in time, she was there at the church to help us get the corsages and boutonnières on. We didn't even have to deliver the trumpet vases for the center pieces back to her. She had arranged with the reception site to pick them up the next day. We used Jeri at the Posy Peddler to do the flowers for our wedding. We found her on the recommended list from our wedding site (Falkner Winery) and met with her and another florist in Fallbrook. Immediately we were impressed with Jeri's bubbly personality, and the way she genuinely listened to our ideas. She shared some ideas of her own, and explained some great new options to us (even though I thought I had everything figured out myself!). She was professional and enthusiastic at the same time. After meeting with Jeri, we went off to meet the other florist. After about 5 minutes with the next lady we couldn't wait to call Jeri to let her know we chose Posy Peddler. We kept in contact over the months before the wedding, and she updated our contract after each correspondence. On the big day, Jeri offered to bring the bouquets and boutonnieres to the place where the bridal party was getting dressed, which was very nice. I was THRILLED with the bouquets - they were not only exactly how I'd wanted them, but they were even better. My bridal bouquet was so elegant I nearly cried. Everything was lush, fresh, and abundant. The bridesmaids couldn't believe how nice theirs were too. Jeri arrived on time (if not early) to the winery to set up. She took care of a GORGEOUS archway, two large urns of flowers (which were about twice the size I expected them to be - awesome!), several nosegays on the chairs, and petals in the aisle. The indoor arrangements were just as impressive - large, lush and gorgeous. She even decorated our cake with flowers and it looked like a work of art. We are so thankful we chose Jeri to do our wedding. Do not be fooled by the small flower shop in Escondido - she is the REAL DEAL! Our guests and family were amazed at the quality of the flowers, and considering we had orchids, calla lilies, and other "expensive" varieties, her price was very reasonable. I ordered a bright, cheerful floral arrangement online for a dear friend who is recovering from surgery. I was contacted by Luz from Posy Peddler because a color of tulips in the image online wasn't in stock. We discussed ways to keep the look/colors of the image flowers. I trusted that it would look as beautiful as the sample image. My friend sent a photo of the arrangement and I was so disappointed because it did not look as bright and cheerful as the sample image. I called and spoke with Luz and expressed my disappointment and she offered to refund my money or fix the arrangement. I asked if she would have another arrangement made that looked closer to the image on their website and exchange it for the first that was delivered.
