I love buying flowers for my home... I have tried all sorts of places; other flower shops, Albertsons, farmers markets and yet I still always come back to Mikes Flowers in Fallbrook. When you buy flowers you have the notion that the flowers will eventually die but I have noticed when I get flowers from anywhere else they die sooner rather than later. I don't know why but my flowers from Mikes always last longer. They have good options to making or building your own bouquets. And they have bouquets ready for the days you don't want to fuss. they have great pricing too! I never feel ripped off after I leave. I love the farmers market on Saturday mornings but when I buy flowers it costs me like 50 to 75 dollars. And to be honest it feels like a waste. I don't leave Mikes feeling like this. I always buy 3 or 4 different types of flowers and spend about 35 dollars. The owner is the nicest lady you will ever meet. And her daughters and employees are so sweet, kind and helpful. I just used them for the first time. They need to fix their website to make sure a delivery fee is charged if you want delivery. They had to call me to get the delivery done as the website did not charge the fee. But, the flowers were a big hit with my mom who just got out of the hospital. Went into Mike's for a simple bouquet for a gift for my mother. Mariana and her mom helped me create a beautiful bouquet. They had great customer service and created a beautiful bouquet. Definitely will be coming I think it's important to note that the owners of Mike's get most of their flowers from local growers. That being said this is not always cheap and sometimes these flowers can have some imperfections. But hey it is not always protea season! We as the consumer don't know the full extent of the seasons to these flowers. So sometimes when they have burnt flowers it could be that the weather in SoCal has been a little hotter and burned some of the leaves. With that being said, if I don't like burnt flowers I simply won't buy the burnt flowers. In this shop, we get to pick what we purchase! I know the owner has helped me create beautiful arrangements and bouquets time and time again! I truly love this shop and I know the owners have been residents to Bonsall for over 30 years. So disappointed in Michaels. We have been coming here for years. They sold my husband a bouquet of proteas with burnt leaves. They looked horrible when he brought them home. I took a picture and showed it to them when we returned today. The gal just wanted to argue with me .They even charged him $15 for a burnt bouquet. Costco sells a fresh bunch for 9.99 We will not be returning. They lost a very good customer. Customer service has gone down hill. Good luck to them. read more

My daughter had a specific vision of what she wanted for the table flower arrangements, bouquets and boutnierr. We brought in pictures of the dresses and a photo of what the bride wanted in a bouquet. Luz was able to find all the flowers either from her growing fields and through her connections with other growers. For two long days she spent countless hours creating gorgeous arrangements.
