Walking through their warehouse alone was a pleasant experience, noticing all their beautiful choices. It was difficult to gauge how much I needed for a large event, but the associate who checked me out was extremely helpful assisting me with stem counts. In fact, all 3 employees I interacted with seemed to have an above-average knowledge of flowers, specifically on how much water they needed, and their longevity. I picked up the flowers on a Friday morning, had the event on Saturday afternoon, and some guests were stating that their lilies bloomed the following Thursday! Note that the prices will vary depending on the type of flower you choose. In total, I had a variety of 150 flower stems and 50 green/leaf stems and paid just under $300. I had driven from Murrieta to give Ramirez Wholesale Flowers a chance from seeing their high reviews and reputation, and it definitely was worth it. We were looking for fresh flowers for creating floral arrangements for the Memorial of Christ's Death happening in less than a week. We used Yelp to locate Flower Wholesalers in North County and found Ramirez Wholesale Flowers. What a blessing it was to call and visit this beautiful place of so many different varieties of flowers you can think of!!! Fenny (?) was very kind when we called over the phone to inquire whether the shop was open to the public. After explaining our situation, she assuredly welcomed us to come and shop. Upon arriving, we were amazed at the selection that was available. My Creative Floral Designer was like a kid in a candy store. She was able to get ideas and see the ample supply of flowers that she needed. All the staff members were friendly and helpful and knew their flowers well. We were able to receive helpful information and instructions to plan the floral arrangements we needed. We placed and paid for an order to be picked up on the day of the Memorial. On the day we arrived, the shop was very busy with customers, yet, all the employees acknowledged us and this gave us a chance to admire new stock that arrived. It seems that they constantly receive shipments of fresh flowers every day. Fenny was the one that helped us receive our order and to ring up additional flowers/plants needed for our Creative Floral Designer that day. Fenny was very helpful and efficient and showed an enthusiasm that was refreshing. The floral arrangements that were created were truly astounding and amazing. I only gave 3 stars because the selection is nice and large, my flowers were beautiful and healthy so no complaints there. I drove an hour away from San Diego to this wholesaler because they had something I needed that my local wholesaler didn't have. I was excited to check this place out. The staff seemed as if customers are an inconvenience. They stared at me, and once I got what I needed and went up front to pay, the girl at the front ignored me until I loudly asked "is this where I'm supposed to check out?" She then replied yes and finally rung me up. In my professional experience and over 11 years in a career based in customer service that was completely unacceptable. If you can't help a customer right away you at very least acknowledge them and say I'll be right with you. She wasn't even busy, was not doing anything on the phone, register and was not with another customer. The male employee was standing nearby when this happened and he said nothing. I don't think I'll be returning because a business who can't acknowledge me as the paying customer doesn't deserve my business. I do not recommend Ramirez Wholesale due to poor customer treatment and overall low quality customer service. read more

My business partner, and I drove an hour on a last second hope and a prayer today, after visiting other wholesale markets in North County that were pricey to say the least. All of our prayers were answered as soon as we walked in. The selection was incredible, every single person who works there is amazing, the quality of the flowers is top-notch, and you cannot beat the prices. $16.99 for two dozen gorgeous roses compared to the $29.99 for one dozen at their competitors says it all. This was my first time working with this company. I had high hopes as we went to the Carlsbad location and went through several shops and they were the ones that had the best work for what we were looking for. We were told to contact one of the workers directly as to what we wanted and that's exactly what we did. It was for my sisters funeral. I texted her several times and no response. My mom finally called her and asked her how to pay and how to detail and itemize all the arrangements we wanted for my sisters funeral. She kept telling us we had time and to not worry about it. We kept being pushed aside and told to wait to give all the details until a later time. We made sure to send her pictures with plenty of time but she kept telling us to wait. We were contacted the DAY OF my sister's funeral early that morning and I went over all the arrangements And phrases (for the ribbons) on what I wanted on the all of our arrangements. I arrive to the mortuary, The wording was correct on only 2 arrangement. 4 arrangements didn't even have ribbons or wording and 3 arrangements had the wrong wording (and were placed on the wrong arrangements) . .. when you look at other pics they have the ribbons are beautifully written but ours were horrendous. We ordered 9 arrangements and although I don't mind paying what is necessary for excellent work this was far from the work I expected especially for what I paid. We were advised by their worker to keep waiting for details and I feel this made their work last minute and sloppy. Sad especially for such a special moment for my family. I placed an order for peonies, being that they are hard to find I made sure I placed an order, and had been in contact with Ramirez flowers for over a week before needing them. I planned to ask my girlfriend to marry and thought peonies(which are her favorite) would be beautiful for this once in a life time moment. I left 1/2 the money as the deposit. Sent varies emails to make sure my order went smoothly. The night before I needed them I emailed after being clear to email that I'd like my total to include shipping along with the address I'd like them shipped to. I get an email the day of stating that my flowers are ready for pick up. I was infuriated, why would I ask for shipping costs if I intend on picking them up?! I don't know where they didn't understand that I wanted them delivered to my home was but it ruined the whole moment. I contacted them and they wanted me to pay $30 for them to ship them to me 2 days late!! Then offered my money back. This is just bad customer service. Don't shop with them if your an individual, my small order wasn't big enough for them to care that they ruined a day that was ment to be so special read more

As I was leaving there were some sunflowers at another shop that caught my eye and I had to stop to buy a bouquet, and then realized the price of these were way more fair. I gave a 4 star only because service was just ok. I have to admit I was more needy than most of their regular customers since I know little about flowers and had a lot of questions since I was buying to make table arrangements for my son's wedding.
