I agree with the other reviewers. Denise is so wonderful and easy to work with, I pretty much forget that she owns a business and started to feel like she was my long lost relative! Courteous, professional and quick to respond - Denise was amazing. She took all the photos and inspiration ideas I had come up with and created a beautiful look for the ceremony as well as the reception. We wanted a classic and timeless look, and she did exactly that. She also recommended some vendors for linens and they worked out great! Denise was exceptional. She really made my wedding come to life. Color schemes are not my forte and instead of making me feel overwhelmed, she started off really slow. We selected the types of flowers I liked, then I showed her pictures of the bridesmaids and groomsmen suits. Denise is the BEST! I love her so much. She's so sweet, personable, and incredibly easy to work with. And she's professional about what she is doing. She was doing her best to help us out. She was reasonable with her price and tried to work with our budget. She is worth *every* penny (and dollar) that you have to pay. I would HIGHLY recommend her to all my friends. We designed the centerpieces for the head table and other tables together (I'll upload pictures in a few days). I'm sad that I didn't really get to personally enjoy the centerpieces, but I think they were really special and people loved them. With the last minute things, she even said she wouldn't raise the costs of my price that was already there. She suggested purple carnation instead of lisianthuses - the carnations are easier to get. And I really love the bouquets she put together. They were exactly the way I wanted the colors to pop out! She knew what she was doing, so I didn't have to worry about her on the wedding day at all. I have to be honest, flowers were not that important to me for my wedding, but how can you not have flowers. Flowers over time came highly recommended by my coordinator so I emailed Denise right away. When I told he that I would let her do her magic after giving her my favorite flowers and wedding colors, she went above and beyond my expectations! My bouquets, the bridesmaids bouquets, the reception was more than I ever imagined. The venue for my daughter's, Pala Mesa Resort, gave us a list of preferred vendors, and we looked into all of them. I am thrilled that we hired Denise! My daughter had very specific requests and Denise satisfied all of them. The flowers were beautiful. Denise made 2 trips to the venue on the wedding day, one to deliver the bouquets and corsages for photos and the second to set up the venue so the pedals along the aisle wouldn't get blown away or stepped on during the hours prior to the wedding. She was prompt, talented and did a great job. My daughter was especially impressed that when we set up a trial centerpiece at the first consultation Denise did not try to upsell her. The improvement she suggested didn't involve flowers, and she gave us the website to order what we needed. We knew then that she cared about the bride, not just the money. Denise was recommended by my good friend who also recently got married, she went to school with Denise's daughters... Anyways, I loved Denise and her work. She took bits and pieces of ideas that I liked and combined them into something of my own! She also works well with your budget.... informing you if its cheaper to buy it or rent it!! My wedding flowers turned out amazing!! so perfect! She added a photo with a little votive of my dads ashes to my bouquet so he could still walk me down the aisle... I can't say enough good things about Denise! She is truly amazing! We found her on the preferred vendors list at Grand Tradition Estate (who are also amazing by the way!) and saw on Yelp that she had great reviews, so we gave her a call. We were planning on going to the venue to have brunch with my husband's parents and she was already there setting up for a wedding, so she said to come on up and we could chat for a bit and I could look at examples of her work. When I went up to the wedding/reception site, I was thoroughly impressed. She was working with an "interesting" color palette, but she somehow made everything look beautiful! When I met her, she was so cheerful and friendly. Throughout the whole process, she was patient and informative and sometimes she even knew what I wanted before I did! When I called her after our first meeting, she remembered my wedding color because it matched my shoes the day we met and she already had some flowers in mind that would match it; little things like that made all the difference. She updated me on the process, flower availability, she'd check in with changes, and always send me updated invoices. She was completely organized and kept me on track when I was a scatter brained mess! My advice - hire a wedding coordinator! I REALLY wish I had. However, Denise was one of the few people who definitely made my world easier. The day of the wedding, I could not believe just how beautiful everything was! Everyone has been telling me how incredible the flowers were. The centerpieces were stunning and the bouquets were drop dead gorgeous. Like I said, I can't say enough good things about her. If you want beautiful flowers, to work with a wonderful person, and just an overall great experience, definitely call Denise! P.S. Let me just say, it breaks my heart that I won't be able to see Denise anymore after my wedding. She was truly a pleasure to work with. I knew from our first interview that she was the perfect florist for us. The first thing you'll notice is that she has amazing prices. There are no hidden fees and she is very strait forward and honest. Most importantly you'll notice what an amazing and nice person she is. She worked very hard to make my wedding beautiful. I didn't have a very big budget, and yet she still managed to make it look gorgeous. My guest were very impressed. She even went out of her way to help me decorate at the wedding. I feel blessed that I got to have her as my florist for my wedding. I read so many horror stories about some weddings and the florist and I am grateful I got the best florist in the world.
