I ordered the Sunshine Splendor arrangement to be delivered to my wife on our anniversary. I wrote a poem for her that I wanted to be sent with the flowers but the online limitation to to a 200 word count message wouldn't allow me to do it automatically. I called Sheri and after a few attempts gave up. She called back within the hour and we talked about our options. She was very sweet and easy to work with, so was her co-worker that spoke with me over the phone. Sheri is the BEST! She is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and awe-inspiring. I found Sheri in March and was worried about the timeline as my wedding was in July. We first emailed to meet up and she asked for pictures to get an idea of what I envisioned; she asked me to follow her on Pinterest. We met on a Sunday morning at her cute office/shop and she immediately pulled up our emails and my Pinterest boards. Sheri showed us the flowers in season, colorful blooms and plants that went with our color scheme of green, purple (Lakers) and blue (Dodgers). She gave us feedback on all of our ideas. She provided me with ideas for our venue's garden and reception/pavilion hall as she had previously worked that venue. She advised that high and low centerpieces would be best to fill the spacious pavilion; using the high centerpieces at the ceremony site (down the aisle) and then on tables at the reception. We rented her amazing high stands and were able to take the flowers with us for the farewell brunch the next day. She also had us reuse the ceremony flowers from the top of the pergola as the decoration for our sweetheart table. We were also able to reuse the flowers displayed at the entrance of the garden (fans, umbrellas) next to the cake table. It would later be used in the bouquet toss. She created beautiful flower-girls' hair wreaths and they each carried mini bouquets. My ring bearer carried a beautiful floral pillow she created. It was a Pinterest winner! From boutonnières, to the gorgeous corsages, Sheri knows how to make a bride happy. I didn't have to worry about a thing. She was on point and ready to go. She is my hero! I had an interesting experience with Sheri, who did the flowers for my wedding February 11, 2012. The two times we met with her, she was very sweet, and educated my (now) husband and I, who know absolutely nothing about flowers. She helped us find options to stay in our budget. I did find it strange when she told me she couldn't order dahlias this time of year. After talking to another florist, i found out that they are not difficult to get. After looking into it, Sheri came back to me saying that she could in fact get them. I'm just confused as to why a florist who has been in the business for (8?) years didn't know that from the beginning. Now to the main reason I only gave her two stars: Sheri gave us horrible customer service the day of my wedding. We called to confirm the delivery time a couple hours before the ceremony because we were anxious to start the pictures, and she didn't pick up or call back. She finally picked up the second time and was incredibly rude. Sheri proceeded to snap that she was "very busy!" and that she was "coming a half hour before the ceremony starts, exactly like the contract states!" Now I'm sorry, but on the day of my wedding, I can't necessarily keep track of every little detail from the dozen vendors I've been dealing with for the past nine months! All we wanted was a simple confirmation, which would have taken her about 10 seconds. When Sheri and her assistant showed up, they waltzed into the bridal cottage, dropped the flowers on a chair and without a word marched out. My husband said she did the same thing with their flowers. I absolutely did not need any extra stress or attitude on my big day. I felt very insulted by the way she treated me, and her sudden change to a cold, short attitude was jarring. The flowers were pretty; however the bouquets were much smaller than I pictured and a little dinky. We really didn't go THAT cheap... just chose less expensive flowers. Her work on the arch in the ceremony was very beautiful though. I would have given Sheri 3 or 4 stars if it weren't for the customer service on my wedding day. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day or what, but I did nothing rude or bride-zilla (and neither did my mom) like to deserve that treatment and lack of customer service. Sheri was the third florist I met with, but was the first florist who actually listened to what my 'vision' was and made suggestions that didn't try to change, but tried to make it come to life. Sheri worked with us by showing us pictures of what she thought we might like, and within a day or so sent me an excel spreadhseet of what we had discussed and the budget of it. I worked with Sheri via email mostly (she's a busy lady!) and she altered my order as necessary. Once all was finalized and the wedding came, I couldn't have asked for more beautiful flowers. The bridal party flowers even arrived at the venue in a lovely box that was laid out in our dressing rooms for us to see as we got ready. Sheri and her team also placed my table overlays for me, before setting up the centerpieces, which I really appreciated. Everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned, and my wedding was beautiful in part because of the flowers that Sheri provided. So if you don't recognize a type of flower she will show you exactly what it is going to look like. On our wedding day she arrived ahead of schedule with all the flowers in tow. The only thing that could of been better is that it seemed like some of the flowers were a couple days old and past their "peak" window.
