For two years running, Jonathan has ensured that my grand gestures of love are met with arrangements as stunning as the sentiment behind them. He remembered my purchase from last year's Day of Love and reached out proactively, ensuring my romantic game stayed as sharp as ever. That level of thoughtfulness? Unmatched. His work isn't just about flowers; it's about storytelling in petals--each bouquet a carefully curated sonnet, every bloom hand-selected with precision, every color and texture woven together in a masterpiece of affection. Jonathan's commitment to quality, composition, and care transforms a simple bouquet into a love letter without words. If you want to impress, woo, or simply remind someone that they are adored, Jonathan's Fresh Flowers is the only florist you'll ever need. Trust me--romance has never looked (or smelled) this good.

Inka was our floral designer for our wedding in May; we met her at her home in Annapolis to review what we wanted. She is a soft-spoken professional who knows her business and takes the time to ask a lot of questions about your vision for the flowers on your wedding day. We were married at a friend's house and Inka met us at the site to take a look at the space and discuss what we might need. She offered a lot of professional advice when she realized we didn't have a wedding planner; advice on things outside of the flowers. She didn't have to spend so much time on this, but she is a very kind-hearted person who genuinely cared about us and our wedding day. I collected by own milk glass vases & compotes in the years preceding the wedding and had a very definite idea of what I wanted and didn't want. I gave her info on the color palette I wanted, the types of flowers I liked and that I wanted all of my arrangements to be different from one another. She listened carefully, offered wonderful advice and arrived early on the day-of to set up. She even decorated the tables with props that we supplied. There was a miscommunication regarding whether or not this was included in the price we were quoted (very likely my fault - my mind was shot that close to the wedding) but she adjusted the price to include the set up of the props at no charge anyway. - She decorated an incredible arch for us to get married under - My bouquet was outstanding - There were tons of arrangements, all different, but all in a cohesive theme - The tablescaping she did for us was lovely All of the arrangements were lush and gorgeous - they were top notch and looked incredible. Inka was great about staying in touch with us. Even though she was making trips to Germany to see family, she returned our emails and was great about answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable with the price we were paying. She helped us find ways to stay within our comfort zone while still getting exactly what we wanted. I did not come away feeling like we were compromising or being deprived when we needed to revise the original plan to stay within budget. She was an absolute master of her trade and I very highly recommend her work.

It's the perfect venue for any outdoor wedding. You can go classic country and full on rustic or add your own flare, like we did with a vintage adventure theme. Either way, your vision will come to life with the help of the amazing scenery and landscape. Honestly, even with minimal decor, the venue will take your guests' breath away. There is a charming bridal suite in one barn with beautiful vintage furniture including a vanity for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready and take the most amazing photos. Opposite of the suite is the most adorable bar where your caterer can set up for drinks. The main barn is beautiful, with natural light pouring through the sides and it's huge, with tons of room for decorations and personal touches. We used it for our ceremony and it was stunning. The property seems endless, as there is tons of space for tents of any size for a reception or just a set up under the stars in the summertime. There are winding paths and a clearing in the woods that is beautiful for a ceremony or first look. There is even a fire pit, which we set up a s'mores bar four our guests near. Besides the scenery itself, Rick and Terry are amazing hosts. They take great care of their brides and grooms and make sure to keep in contact, making sure everyone is on the same page. The vendors they recommended took great care of us as well. They let us use hay bales to make cute furniture and a lot of other decor they owned themselves, to add to our wedding decor. When our coordinator slacked, they picked up and helped with EVERYTHING. I would recommend this venue to anyone for a wedding, photo shoot, or anything else needing an outdoor setting.

If you are looking to have a rustic, country-style wedding, this is the place to have it. The vistas are majestic, and the setting is magical. I loved the barns and the old machinery which give the place a lot of charm. There's even a meadow for the ceremony that's down a winding path...so cool for the reveal! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. In fact, the pies they served (especially the blueberry) were some of the best I've ever had. All in all, this is a great place to get married, and I hope I get to come back!
