We had Floors Galore install counter tops and back splash a while ago. The reason I am writing this review is because we have had friends and family over and they made comments on the poor quality of workmanship. After granite was installed, before the back splash was put in I called about some issues with the work. The hole for the cook top was the right size but cut in the wrong place it was not centered over the lower cabinet. The cabinet divider was 1.5 inches from the edge of the hole putting it in the way of a new cook top we were going to install. They had also cut a chunk out of the counter top and patched it leaving it quite noticeable. Albert came out and said they would take care of it after the job was complete.I didn't want to argue with him since he is the one knowledgeable in this field. Next day they came out to install the back splash. Day 1 they ran out of tile. The workers were using little pieces to do the exposed edges which ended up not being straight when complete. Day 2 they ran out of grout. After the job was complete his only solution to the cook top hole was cut it bigger. He could not understand that a 30 inch cook top which is supposed to have a 28.5 inch hole will not cover the space if we were to cut it 29.5 inches and move the center line one inch to avoid the lower cabinet divider. I was able to force the old 4 burner cook top in the hole but could not get a new 5 burner in. He did come back out to look at it a second time after he saw a bad review but still had no solution other than cut the hole bigger. Other issues were brought to his attention they cracked the granite while installing the back splash, his solution don't worry about it there is plywood below. We have divots in the granite where they finished the edges, he told us it is stone you are going to have those. Also after watching the men work I did some of the demo by the exposed walls so they would not damage the walls and make more work for me. Albert was asked twice during our conversation, once by me and once by my wife if he would allow that kind of workmanship in his house. He did not answer either time. He didn't have to, I knew the answer. After all that he did agree to repair one of the exposed edges but he would not take responsibility for damage his guys would do. I can't blame him. I saw his men work and I don't want that responsibility either. We were left with a mess. read more

I called several contractors and Al with Floors Galore was the only one that seemed knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Unfortunately, the hardwood floors were underneath the kitchen cabinets, so my cabinets had to be replaced because they were made out of a cheap particle board that the original builder put in when they built the house so they were not salvageable. Al was able to come out immediately and provide me with a fast quote for repairs of the hardwood floors, new quality wood kitchen cabinets, and paint to the entire area. His proposal was very reasonable and in line with the insurance company. I hired him on the spot and his crew was able to start the work immediately. Al was able to finish the work when he said he would and the final product looks amazing!!. I always get compliments when my friends or family are over. Everyone in his team was very courteous and arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves daily. I would definitely hire this contractor if I ever have any other needs with any projects related to the house. read more

Floors Galore is, for a lack of a better word, awesome. I did a bathroom remodel which consisted of new tile, countertops, and paint. I went to the showroom where Albert showed my a few samples that matched the description of what I had given him. He explained the differences between the tiles, and natural stones, and offered suggestions on some other colors that I hadn't thought of. To make sure everything would be perfect we arranged for a time for him to come and measure, and even bring the samples out to see how they matched with my decor and lighting. We then set a time for the installers to come and finish my bathroom! They were professional, friendly (answering any questions I had), and clean! FANTASTIC COMPANY! I had my house remodeled by Floors Galore by Halfon and the whole experience was excellent. I originally went per a friend referral, and now I will be the one telling all my friends about it. I went to the amazing store in Stafford, where the selection was amazing. The staff was wonderful, even bringing samples out to my house to see what will go best with my furniture. After visiting with many companies, we found Albert at Floors Galore by Halfon. He was very knowledgeable and had very affordable pricing for the remodeling we wanted to do. They renovated the entire upper floor of our house. They installed new laminate flooring and painted our walls, doors, and baseboards. They remodeled two bathrooms completely, installing new vanities, granite countertops, and tiled our floors and showers. The crews were FANTASTIC.
