Flooring Source just ripped out all our carpet upstairs and put in Luxury Vinyl Plank and new, taller baseboards. They had our old, traditional stairs ripped out and replaced them with new, modern wood and metal stairs and rails. Then they replaced all our baseboards downstairs. Every worker that was here did an excellent job, was very respectful and took pride in their work. Something you don't see a lot these days. read more

They did a great job with the flooring in my rental property! We were removing carpet and trying to match the laminate already in place in the hallways and they did a great job finding a very close match and blending the two materials. They also performed all the work in less than two days all while I was out of town and ahead of the original schedule I requested! It was great coming home to the completed project. I would have given 5 stars but they require payment in full up front when they ordered materials which always makes me uneasy but it didn't cause issues in my case. Perhaps if I would have pushed back, they would have allowed progress payments, not sure. read more

Don't! Just don't! Look at my full review at the gulf fwy location. Carpet was thrown down on stairs and issues were never addressed even after I called repeatedly. Still is was the stairs that had the issues not the company. No one from this store took responsibility for the job, had my payment in full and they moved on. I went in on a recommendation, needing to carpet 1200 sq ft in 3 days!! I know this was an unreasonable request, but figured I'd ask. The carpet was installed 4 days later! The installers even moved the furniture in each room, and did a perfect job. There were 3 of them, the head guy said he'd been doing installation for over 20 years, and that experience showed. They did such a good job, I bought them lunch!! They cleaned up after themselves and put everything back exactly as it was. You wouldn't have known they were there. The sales person I dealt with was very easy to work with, I think her name was Lori. Very happy personality, very knowledgeable, and appreciative of my patronage. Was sitting there as she was calculating the cost, it came to $2689.?? She looks at at it, and just says, "let's do $2600 even!" Always nice to get a little discount without having to ask. I will be using them again in the coming weeks to do my upstairs and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I spent good money, for a very sub par job. This place came recommended off of someone I value, but they were 1/2 ass at best, both on the customer service side and installation. It was a 3 phase project and completed 2, I had a sub come in to finish their work. I indentified the issues early on and they appeared to not want to be bothered. They finally satisfied their work/job but it took almost 11 months to complete it. Excuse after Excuse, even after the GM and Owner got involved. I try to keep my money local economy but I have plenty more house and will go elsewhere. read more

Horrible!!!! Do not use these people! We ordered hard floors, carpet, and kitchen cabinets. They never ordered the carpet even though they said multiple times that they did, I met with the manager and it was never ordered. The kitchen cabinets they messed up multiple times. They ordered wrong sizes twice. I ordered all this back in october, it's may and we are still waiting on our cabinets to be done. DO NOT Use Lori stahl. She is horrible and has no clue what she's doing. She is a typical sales person, doesn't know anything about measuring a kitchen. She is also a liar, I have multiple text messages from her that the carpet was in and just waiting to be installed, months later I went to the manager and they said she never ordered it. Their communication is non existant. We have been stuck dealing with them for literally 8 months because they make you pay upfront. read more

We purchased bedroom carpeting from Flooring Source recently. The store's staff was very patient and helpful with my Wife during the time she struggled with her choice of carpet. Adam was very prompt when he came to our home to measure the room and discuss the particulars of the job. Jerry and Efrain, the installers, were punctual and didn't waste a moment getting to work. Jerry (the lead person) was good humored, diligent and provided more service than I expected. His communication skills were first-rate. Efrain was equally thorough. I particularly appreciated Jerry's clever idea about using the carpet remnant. We took the initiative with his idea and it is just perfect! My husband and I went in after the big freeze to see if we could match tile to make repairs. We had successfully remodeled two bathrooms with their design help and materials. We were the only customers in the store on a Friday around 4 p.m. We learned our tile was no longer current. I said I had found it online and would try to buy it there. I was told to beware of online dealers who did not always fulfill orders once they had your money. We were about to walk away when one of the two gentlemen sitting at the desk thought they might be able to get the tile from their supplier. They promised to check and made notes and we traded information with Chris with the promise of a call on Monday to let us know what they found out. When they didn't call on Monday, I called them and asked if anyone had checked on our tile availability. This time it was a woman who took the call and promised to get back to me with an answer. No phone call messages were left as I had invited them to leave should I not be home. Nothing. That was weeks ago and no one ever gave us the courtesy of a return call. I eventually ordered online and had my tile within four days. As a Friendswood resident I try to use Friendswood businesses, but this is one I will not bother with as they saw fit not to bother with me. Very disappointing. read more
