Adrian was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire process. He even let us take samples home, which made a big difference in our decision. We initially planned on going with laminate, but he recommended LVP--and we couldn't be happier that we listened. We chose the Coretec 8mm Eastoak, and we love the texture, how comfortable it feels underfoot, and that it stayed within our budget. Adrian was also very patient while we explored island countertop options. The in-store selection was limited, so he kindly ordered one for us to view. Although the warehouse was a bit far and we ultimately went elsewhere for more on-site options, we still appreciated his effort and support. Our contractor, John from J's Flooring, who was recommended to us by Adrian, did an amazing job with the installation. He and his crew completed everything in just three days. They were professional, efficient, and even move our heavy furniture. John is also very knowledgeable--he had recommended LVP as well and even left us with a thinner sample during our initial quote, which we appreciated. Stay away from sales associate Jim. He is currently working at the Clovis Avenue location near the airport. He promised we would get the quartz we wanted, but he gave us the incorrect color. The worst part was he forgot to order the (wrong) quartz, so the contractor drove from Fresno to Modesto and picked up the wrong item. We called the manager, and we are waiting for his response. We're hoping to resolve this mess, but in the meantime, I'm posting this to warn prospective customers. Update. The manager was responsive and offered to resolve the issue. It's not 100% satisfactory to us, but his effort to rectify the mistake of his sales associate was commendable. I'm changing my rating from 1 to 2.5 stars for now. My husband and I were looking to get our floors done. We spoke with the guys at the Clovis location south of the 727 Clovis Ave location, also on Clovis Ave. Those guys were great! Excellent customer service. They sent us to the Old Town location to meet with Shawn Broils, Store Manager to schedule an appointment to measure our rooms. Initially, he was great. He scheduled a time and date to measure our space where we wanted to get laminate flooring. He promised to send our quote via email in " the next day or so." After numerous calls and a week later, he finally sent us the quote. We had asked him to do two separate quotes, one for the entire house and one for the bedrooms and bathrooms. He only gave us one quote. We decided to only do the 4 bedrooms and not include the bathrooms, and we changed our minds on the color of flooring, so we asked him to adjust the quote accordingly. Shawn adjusted the quote, and the price INCREASED instead of decreased. It made no sense, so we figured we would talk to Shawn the day we went to put our deposit down. We showed up as soon as the store opened, and Shawn was late, so we waited for him. He walked in about 10 minutes late, and my husband questioned why the price increased (by hundreds of dolars) instead of decreased since we were only doing the bedrooms. Shawn took the quote, put in on the counter in front of us, and said, "it is what it is!" Turned around and started helping another customer. We looked at each other, kind of laughed, and couldn't believe what happened. We turned around and decided they would not get our business. My husband decided to go back and ask Shawn what the heck just happened. Shawn said he didn't like that we changed our minds and said, 'I don't know what is going on in your life!'... my husband couldn't believe it because it was Shawn, the manager, who appeared to be having a bad day. Fast forward, a couple of weeks later, we decided to get a quote from the Fresno Flooring Liquidators. We explained our entire situation about what had happened, and the salesperson said he believed it. He said Shawn was moody and that he was probably stressed out because he was in the middle of a move. The salesperson said Shawn called his employees, including himself, "stupid" and had no respect for them. He told us he had to "get permission " from Freddie, the owner, to be able to work with us due to our encounter with Shawn. He never called us back. We followed up with two more calls, and he never called us back. Once he told us he had to get permission for us to do business with them, we decided to give a family business in Clovis our business, even though they were $800 more, we gladly paid it. What we got in return was great service, professionalism, and our floors turned out great!!! We highly recommend them over flooring liquidators any day! Joseph at Central Floor Supply on Clinton Ave got us in and out in less than 1 hour, and our floors were installed the following week! This review is about the product & services, and not installation. This year we finally moved into our new build and knew we would be redoing our floors. Our builder wouldn't allow us to keep carpet throughout the house so we were stuck with tile. After much research, we went to Flooring Liquidators to pick out some Luxury Plank Vinyl to install over our existing tile. The product we chose was in stock so we had no problems with wait time. The transaction was smooth upon purchasing and the delivery was seamless. I knew my husband and I can install the LPV ourselves (even though we work healthcare haha!) so we could avoid any possible problems with installation. When it came to buying the transition strips, it was like running in circles. Luckily we were not in a rush to install them because it took about a month to get them in and when I called they seemed to have lost my order. I am not one to be upset easily so I shrugged it off. In retrospect, if I were someone else, I can see how this would be annoying. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome of our floors and the brand/product we chose. We have 2 large dogs who like to scratch the floors. LVP is super easy to clean up after and is water resistant, backed by a lifetime warranty. Would I recommend this store? It all started off well when Ron came to our house to take measurements and give us a qoute. He was a nice guy and didnt add pressure when in home. This was the part that wasnt too bad. A few days after we had our estimate andbwanted to have a quote without our master bath. Bad idea. Ron started with all the lies and couldnt keep his story straight. He called me and said he wanted to earn oir business and said he could give a price cut. The estimates kept getting higher. When i asked to explain the differences he got mad and said we arent going to be able to do business and hing up. I should have known when i asked about the thickness of the wear layer and he said milliliters. Maybe thats the loquid part of liquidators. I am incredibly disappointed and unimpressed with Flooring Liquidators. I placed an order with them approximately 9 months ago and everything went smoothly. Recently I went back to order the same flooring from them and it has been an absolute debacle with zero assistance on their end. First, I was told that the floor was in stock and that it would arrive the same week on Friday. Floor never showed up and nobody called me. I called them the following week to see what happened and was again told that it would now arrive the upcoming Friday. This went on for FIVE weeks. Same thing. Nobody calling, following up, and then being told it would arrive, only for it to never show up. They never apologized, never tried to make it better. Finally I get the floor and am going to install it - Guess what? WRONG FLOOR. They did not re-order the floor that I initially purchased, they ordered a different version of it, but same color. I called and was told that I would have to pay a 25% re-stock fee - keep in mind that a flooring purchase is hundreds to thousands of dollars, so this is a SIGNIFICANT fee, when they could just stick it in their warehouse and sell it. On top of this outrageous fee, I am also told that I cannot return the one opened box of flooring either. Not only would I have to eat a 25% fee but ALSO the cost of one box of flooring. It appears that Flooring Liquidators does not care about their clients or earning business in a reputable fashion. All these fees that they hide behind goes to show what kind of shady business ethics they try and get away with. read more

I was in the market for new counter tops to replace the existing ones in our newly bought home. I had shopped around a few places, looked at multiple slabs. I came in and met Shaun Moser. Let me just say that my road to get the slabs I wanted wasn't easy - I needed 2, the ordering design was easy enough... it was the actual acquisition of the 2 slabs. Found 2 from the same batch, 1 had a scratch. Had to wait to find 2 more from the same batch another scratch. Shaun was relentless in getting my product. He stayed in constant contact to make sure I was taken care of. I took the high road on all of it because some things we cannot control and a scratch was not Shaun's fault. I was impressed at the extensive efforts he put in to take care of me as a customer. My job wasn't the biggest, probably not the most profitable but to him I was HIS customer and that's what was important. A little patience and persistence my counter tops are GORGEOUS! An example of their poor communication, showing up to my home late with only the carpet padding (no carpet) started moving furniture, scratched my vinyl flooring, installer was told that morning he would have to drive to Modesto to pick up the carpet. We purchased Azur reserve engineered hardwood color is Bellerose installed by a contractor referred to as us by flooring liquidators. Doug the sales person was very knowledgeable and guided us through the selection process. Doug recommended Jimmy Chavez to install the flooring and they did a marvelous job. They installed 1720 ft square of hardwood flooring. The crew showed up on Monday morning sharp at 8o'clock and the job lasted for four days. They busted 1000 ft square if tile and removed carpet. The crew of 6 were punctual clean and very professional I highly recommend them. Thank you Doug for such a great service. read more

Update: the installer did finally arrive around 5:00 pm. The work was completed that evening and I am happy with the results. Received a small discount on the job due to their lateness. Getting more irritated the longer I wait. The carpet installer was supposed to arrive between noon and 2:00 today. It's currently 4:30 and no sign. The installer called a couple of times to say he's on his way, and yet..... I took a half day off work (which I realize now was completely unnecessary), and we spent last evening moving all furniture out of the room. Justin Back from JB Flooring came out and installed our vinyl flooring. His employee Jeff helped him install our floor. Went to these guys for their expertise and wound up feeling like we got ripped off. We bought the more expensive carpet, as they suggested, because we were afraid of seam problems and hi traffic wear. When the seams came apart within 90 days, they told us that we needed a heavier duty commercial carpet. ....oh, like the one i asked for when i came into your store, and the one we discussed when you came into our place to quote the installation? Our last carpet lasted 10 years. The one we purchased here. ... 4 months before it looked crappy. If you want to buy carpet where you feel like your entitled to liquidated damages, use Flooring Liquidators!! read more

I got flooring through them for a house I had just bought. And Flooring Liquidators were awesome! Janet helped us and she was professional and friendly. The flooring installers Dave Brown & his brother Randy, did a phenomenal job! They made sure we were happy with the work and were prompt. We had tried to get flooring through Home Depot but they were rude and made us feel like placing an order was putting them out. We also originally tried Valley Remnants because they were recommended on our Nextdoor app but they were double of what we paid at Flooring Liquidators & it was going to be for an inferior product. We're so pleased with Flooring Liquidators's work so will use again in the future! By the way, the work was done timely----pretty fast yet done perfectly! You also get a copy of handy floor plan that includes room measurements when they come out to measure. This was cool because then I knew exactly room sizing for furniture placement. Oh and one more thing, the cost of installment at Flooring Liquidators includes them removing and putting back the toilet and sink whereas other flooring installers will tell you that you have to get someone else to do that. read more

Decent product and fair prices, but employees are clueless who don't own up to their mistakes. Purchased some carpet for a spare bedroom I was planning on renting out. Purchase date was a pleasant experience- salesman Bob Marquez was very relaxed for a salesman. He said they had my carpet in store that day and they'd be able to install in 3-4 days. I got out of there thinking it was a smooth transaction. Received a call 2 days later (1-2 days prior to the install date) saying they don't, in fact, have my carpet in stock and would have to order it, and that it wouldn't be coming in until weeks later. They gave me a second install date, April 16th- the day I'm writing this review. This made me look stupid to my renter, whom I had already told could move in by the original install date, but it gets worse. Install date #2 comes around. I called the day of and the night before to confirm it was still happening, with no response until I called the extension for SALES and surprise, surprise they picked up on the very first ring at around 3 P.M. on a Monday afternoon. Bob tells me my shipment was running late and made it as far as their Modesto store for the day, and that it would be impossible for them to install it by tonight. Tomorrow afternoon would be the soonest they could do it. I went on about how I was given 2 separate install dates, and how they failed to meet either of them and how that put me in a precarious situation with my renter, who has been more than patiently waiting. Between Bob Marquez in Fresno and a woman named Priscilla who works at their store in Modesto, I asked if there was anything else they were willing to do for me or if they could somehow make it right. They only apologized and told me I'd have to wait again, after they had already broken their word to me twice. Any way you cut it, that's sub-par, inexcusable customer service. My renter's luckily a friend, so I told him the remainder of the month is free or I'd be in a real bad situation. This poorly run band of amateurs cost me money as it is, and all they could offer me was one of those shoulder shrugs and an, "eh, what can we do?" after screwing up twice. There's very few things I hate more than not being able to keep my word- and thanks to Flooring Liquidators, I was able to let a friend down twice and lose money in the process! read more
