They show up bright and early, they work hard all day, and the quality speaks for itself. Even in the challenging times we are in right now, they don't compromise safety, quality, or deadlines. If it is within their control to get a job done, it will get done for sure. The communication throughout our entire basement finish was perfect. Any issues we had were addressed immediately and if adjustments were needed, they got done quickly and professionally just like everything else. DJ will not stand for any of his crew or subcontractors not performing as absolute professionals and that speaks to the character you'll find when hiring him. I absolutely enjoyed the entire process start to finish and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

After having an estimate done for our living room, dining room, stairs and upstairs hallway, we set a date for the installation. On the morning of the installation, they didn't show up. When we called, they said that we didn't pay the entire amount up front (even though we paid the deposit and the order said COD - cash on delivery). They rescheduled for the next day and when the installer arrived, he immediately identified that there was not enough carpet to finish the job. And his work order said nothing about the upstairs. (The installer and his assistant were pleasant, hard-working and efficient.) So we had to reschedule to have the work we requested done, because the owner/manager had mismeasured and/or screwed the order up. That occurred the following weekend. The agreed-upon start time of 9 AM came and went, and the new installers finally showed up in the afternoon. A job that should have been completed sometime on the first Friday didn't get finished until the following weekend, Saturday evening. Carpetland butchered this order from the onset. Thank goodness the contractors were competent.

Finally on the third date I called 3 times asking did the flooring come in? Simple question but no they refused to answer that question, they kept saying your on for the 13th. I have now been without a sink in the bathroom for almost a month. All 3 calls I pushed for an answer and they would just say " I'll check and call you back', not once have they called me back. I wish I could get my money back. I will never ever shop there again. Absolutely miserable experience.

I wished I trusted somebody else for this big project... at the beginning it should have been a three-days labor project but it turned out to be a SIX-WEEKS one!!! The whole project was poorly managed, the owner Mr. Miller came himself to take measures for ordering the materials no need to say that we lost a week due to a lack of materials supply (what a way to do the job...). One of the contractors ripped a wall while removing the baseboard, I had to pay for the repairs!!! Miller's flooring did not want to hear about that. To put it in a nutshell, this was an horrible experience with absolutely no communication from the company. A contractor came one day to the house and did not even know what he was supposed to do!!! What is that supposed to mean... I will let the reader of this review make his or her own mind. In the end, the project is not even finished but I still had to pay a full bill despite all the drawbacks and problems created by this company. For the readers courageous enough to be at this part of the review, I urge you not to trust this company for any project in your house. You will for sure find better and cheaper elsewhere.
