We have running humor that he personally does the squeegee because my driveway is outlined with limestone rocks and he does a masterful job of sealing right up to the rocks without getting sealer on them. There was a section of pavement edge that had been repaired after a retaining support was added 15 years ago. The filler material had dried out, was falling apart and looked horrible. There was really no way to do a quality repair with what was there, so he cut out the entire edge, that had failed and laid new asphalt, which looks great and is a permanent repair. He also filled all the large cracks with a hot applied rubber. He seals with a material that is the only one that is still black after 3 years, by far the best I've had in my 20 years of owning this property. I called Jared Morris and after picking out the color pattern that I wanted, stepped out of the way and watched Jared work his magic. I was totally amazed at the amount of prep work he did, grinding the floor down to bare concrete, patching cracks, smoothing, etc before he even began laying down the new floor. The end result was showroom quality. The transformation was truly something to be proud of. Last Summer I had foundation work done and the garage floor took a major hit from jackhammering through the concrete to drive pilings 48 feet underground in five different locations in the garage. Once again I hired Jared to restore the floor with a new color pattern. No corners were cut, in depth prep work was performed and in just two days, the new floor was once again showroom quality. The cost was very reasonable and the work is all guaranteed. The work area was cleaned at the end of each day and he treated both me and my property with respect. We submitted pictures of how he left our kitchen and bathrooms plus a 37 page forensic report listing the serious below industry standard work. We hired a Forensic Tile Specialist to come in to assess prior to filing suit to be fair to all parties involved. We knew work was bad however what was found truly reflected what we already knew-his "work" was a complete tear out and redo. His new positive reviews were an act of desperation as his court date neared. If this man has left you with incomplete, below standard work, don't be scared to stand up for yourself. We are thrilled justice was fairly served. We hired Luis who owns River City Fabricators in April to replace our countertops in the kitchen and two bathrooms plus replace our kitchen and bathroom backsplash. He told us 3 days to complete. It took 9 and job was not completed. He showed up late everyday but day one. Always left mid day for at least two hours. He asked for a draw a few days in which was not in the contract. We are nice people so we gave him a check. The day after he "finished", we went out of the country. As soon as we returned, we reached out with quite a list of corrections and damage repair that needed to be done. We even brought in a very experienced contractor to get his feedback on the work. He said it was a tear out and redo, the work was way below industry standard. Backsplash looks like a drunk toddler installed it. Very visible seams in countertops with an island piece measured and cut wrong. Big chip in quartz made by his worker. Damaged our marble in primary bathroom. Smeared grout and sealant on walls. Damaged our cabinets and walls. We have given Luis 7 months to make this right. Originally, he agreed to correct his botched work and fix things that looked bad. 7 months have gone by and we get nothing but dates he doesn't show up and excuses. He is very rude to me in communication. Our money was wasted on this. No value to work. Asked me to make a list of what he needed to fix so we can sign it and move forward. Now he refuses because he knows he is in the wrong. He emailed me today saying it's just a few crooked tiles, that's it. He is not happy we are calling him out on his terrible work.
