They replaced a fence between my home and our neighbors. They did a horrible job and it looks horrible. The cross boards were pulling away from the posts. Had to have them come out and try to fix it. All they did was nail a 12 inch board over cross board separating from the post. Looks horrible and the "fix" didn't work. Looks like I'm having to replace the fence. We had some siding on a 2 story chimney fall off in storms and called several companies for estimates but didn't get much interest in accepting the project. We have a very high roof and the job must not have been big enough for them to go through the hassle of accessing the siding. We contacted Jyra and Seth via email twice for two different projects and received no response. My neighbor hired them to replace a fence we share on our property line. I even referenced the fact that I paid for half of that fence and that was why I contacted them because we were happy with the result. I would not recommend them for any project. Their lack of reply is troubling and may be indicative of how they conduct business. Overall great experience. I had crown molding, shelves, and cabinet handles installed in my new house. The price was right (better than all competitors) and the team (Hank, Jose and his crew) were awesome. They did exactly as I asked and ensured that I was satisfied before they completed their work (which took 2 days). I would definitely hire them again for any other home improvements I need. The reason for only 4 out of 5 stars is because of a last minute issue with the company: apparently the guy that came out to do the quote and was overseeing my project, either left the company or is not available for whatever reason and the company lost track of my project until the night prior to start. I received a phone call from Hank who caught it that night and was trying to figure out the exact scope of work and get a crew assigned to it; he had me worried for a bit because I thought they would either back out at the last minute or try to renegotiate the cost, but he said that he would try to make something work, albeit with a delay. He called back the very next day to say that he assigned Jose to the job and that they would be able to start the day after (so one day later than initially scheduled). Jose came by that morning to hear from me exactly what I wanted done, took measurements, went to buy the materials, and then started work the next day. Hank then followed up with me that afternoon to ensure everything was set for start. While it was a bit of a bumpy ride prior to start, they more than made up for it in the end. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel I have to recognize this company for the excellent work they did at my house. Seth gave me an estimate to repair some of the wood outside the house, paint the outside, and do some remodeling inside. He told me it would take one week to do the job and gave me the value estimate. Based on the amount of work that had to be done, I was concerned that it would take longer than a week (it would have taken me months to do the job myself). Seth showed up with two crews on a Monday, and by Friday they were done. The outside crew did an excellent work repairing the outside wood and painting the house. We have had the house painted several times, and this crew did the best job ever. The interior crew was just as good. We are so happy we chose Jyra Homes Solutions for the work we needed.
