Bottom line upfront: this company is professional, competent, and reasonably priced. The coordination was smooth, and they surpassed my expectations. I requested drywall repair and painting through Angie's List and was contacted by many contractors. Some quoted prices without understanding the full scope, others struggled to communicate clearly, and many wanted to come by just to "look." Seth reached out, asked for photos, and quickly provided a quote, available dates, and a detailed plan of work. What impressed me most was how Seth explained exactly how the job would be done. Instead of just saying, "Yes, we can do this and here's the cost," he detailed, "We will repair this, caulk that, prime here, and paint with the existing color." I watched Juan, the repairman, work, and it was evident he took pride in his craftsmanship. read more

They replaced a fence between my home and our neighbors. They did a horrible job and it looks horrible. The cross boards were pulling away from the posts. Had to have them come out and try to fix it. All they did was nail a 12 inch board over cross board separating from the post. Looks horrible and the "fix" didn't work. Looks like I'm having to replace the fence. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! read more

We had some siding on a 2 story chimney fall off in storms and called several companies for estimates but didn't get much interest in accepting the project. We have a very high roof and the job must not have been big enough for them to go through the hassle of accessing the siding. Received a recommendation for Jyra when calling around and talking to roofing contractors and called them up. They gave me a prompt and fair estimate and did a great job replacing the worn and missing siding and repainting to match. I will definitely think of them when the time comes for total siding replacement. read more

We contacted Jyra and Seth via email twice for two different projects and received no response. My neighbor hired them to replace a fence we share on our property line. I even referenced the fact that I paid for half of that fence and that was why I contacted them because we were happy with the result. I would not recommend them for any project. Their lack of reply is troubling and may be indicative of how they conduct business. I certainly wouldn't give them any money as a down-payment for a project as I'd probably be ignored and the project wouldn't get finished. Very disappointing!! read more

I needed a wall to be demolished and re-installed with proper framing, drywall, and a fresh coat of paint. Jrya Home Solution did an excellent job, ensuring high standards and quality throughout the project. I particularly appreciated the 5-year warranty they provided for their workmanship. I highly recommend them for any remodeling needs. Seth was incredibly understanding, helpful and made the process smooth and efficient read more

I was very lucky to have Jyra Home Solutions fix the water damage done to my front porch. I am extremely impressed with the workmanship that was used to fix the problem. This was a very small job, but to me it was extremely important and Jose made sure that I was completely happy with the results. Jose took the time to complete each step of the process making sure he did not cause any damage to the surrounding porch areas. I could not be more satisfied and grateful for the outcome. I would recommend this company without hesitation. read more

The ceiling in one of the bedrooms of my home sustained some water damage. Efrain from Jyra Home Solutions did an awesome job matching the texture and paint on the ceiling. You can't see any evidence that the ceiling was damaged. If you are in need of any kind of home repair, I definitely recommend that you give Jyra Home Solutions and especially Efrain the opportunity to solve the problem. They are quick and reasonably priced. read more

Excellent to work with and trustworthy people. Were great at working with my schedule and finished the job quickly, yet top quality work.

I am a Realtor here in San Antonio TX and with a home under contract with a clear to close we were just waiting on the repairs to be made to close. We contacted Seth and he was able to come out and give quote in a timely manner. Seth and his team at JYRA Home Solutions came out that week to complete all the Drywall Repair, Water Damage, Texture, and Paint. Myself and my Client were "blown away" with the quality of the work that was done! Never would have known there was water damage or any type of repair done to the home! Seth was Honest, Upfront, and Accurate with all the information he gave! I would highly recommend using JYRA Home Solutions again and now have my "GO TO GUY" for all my clients needs in that department!! Thanks JYRA !!! read more

I hired Jyra Home Solutions to Install Interior Trim, Decorative Molding, Painting, and repair Sheetrock. I was very impressed with the completed project. Everybody arrived on time and Seth, the owner, stayed in communication. These are two of the most important virtues a contractor can have in my estimation. The drywall repair, texturing, crown moulding and painting were done meticulously. Rafael and Armando, a small part of his crew, all handled the work very professionally and yet quickly. I highly recommend. read more

Overall great experience. I had crown molding, shelves, and cabinet handles installed in my new house. The price was right (better than all competitors) and the team (Hank, Jose and his crew) were awesome. They did exactly as I asked and ensured that I was satisfied before they completed their work (which took 2 days). I would definitely hire them again for any other home improvements I need. The reason for only 4 out of 5 stars is because of a last minute issue with the company: apparently the guy that came out to do the quote and was overseeing my project, either left the company or is not available for whatever reason and the company lost track of my project until the night prior to start. I received a phone call from Hank who caught it that night and was trying to figure out the exact scope of work and get a crew assigned to it; he had me worried for a bit because I thought they would either back out at the last minute or try to renegotiate the cost, but he said that he would try to make something work, albeit with a delay. He called back the very next day to say that he assigned Jose to the job and that they would be able to start the day after (so one day later than initially scheduled). Jose came by that morning to hear from me exactly what I wanted done, took measurements, went to buy the materials, and then started work the next day. Hank then followed up with me that afternoon to ensure everything was set for start. While it was a bit of a bumpy ride prior to start, they more than made up for it in the end. read more
