I don't think they're hungry for business. I have been waiting for 3-4 months just to get a quote for carpet installation. I picked the carpet and filled out the requisite online form and never heard back from anyone. It took leaving multiple messages and more weeks of waiting to finally get someone to respond and schedule a visit to measure our space. Good selection, the staff were helpful trying to match some flooring I was trying to replace before my steps. Unfortunately no flooring stores carried the exact hard wood I had including them and I went to three other places before going to them. But they had the closets selection. I've finally reached the age where I would much rather pay a fair price for quality items versus buying the cheaper stuff at the Big Box stores. My father-in-law turned me on to Floor Factors and I will be buying tile and flooring here from now on. They have a good selection of quality products and knowledgeable staff. What about the quality, you ask? Well, they have tile that actually is dyed through the entire tile, versus just on the top layer, so even a ding in the tile won't ruin it. They also have high quality pre-mix adhesive and sealant...unlike those other stores. Frank, their Estimator, is a good guy and knows his stuff. He set me up with just the right amount of tile and asked plenty of questions to get to complete his estimate. The product they sell is worth the money. read more

I recently bought a house that was half remodeled. I was told they had "enough boxes of flooring left in the shed" to finish the downstairs carpet removal project. I ended up needed three times as much product (Provenza Moda Living LVT) and these guys really came through for me. Lance placed my order easy peasy. I was hasty in my calculations and decisions and ended up needing to return stair nosings and buy another case which cost me freight. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I received at Floor Factors. I was looking for a remnant to have made into a 9' x 12' area rug. I spoke to Lance who listened (I mean ACTUALLY listened) to what I was looking for then took me back to the warehouse where the remnants (so many remnants!) are stored. He showed me a couple (and yes, I had to go up the stair ladder but it was fine and I was very comfortable doing so), I poked around, looked at the one he suggested, and chose that one. It was sent out for binding, was done quicker than expected, and now looks fabulous in my dining room. It's also divine to walk on - an unexpected benefit for our bare feet! It looks so good in fact, that this "temporary rug" [we're remodeling and not yet ready for the whole house flooring but needed something to walk on in the meantime] will become a permanent part of our decor once we are done. Update: they realized and acknowledged that I was frustrated and something got messed up with the scheduling. Our estimator, Oscar, stepped up and came in to start the demo for our project. I don't think this is part of his normal duties but he did it anyway to ensure that i was happy and that my job would be started and completed on schedule and on time. I appreciate that they acknowledged the scheduling issue and stepped up to get the job done. Lots of time when this happens, companies will try to push the blame somewhere else and then try to reschedule at their convenience. read more

I'd invite anyone over to my house to see the brainless work of the "finest wood floors man " in the city. He laid an imperfect board in a high volume pathway... it could have been placed in a bedroom, under a likely bed spot, or in a corner, on the perimeter... so many better places for a piece that is messed up. I was on a budget and was concerned that I was going to have to pay a lot of money to match the carpet in the rest of the house. Matt took the time to walk me through the warehouse and we hunted until we found just the right piece. They have a huge selection and the person I spoke with was very knowledgable about the selection. I found a tile at Floor Factors that I had also found at another store, but it was over $1.30 a sq foot cheaper at Floor Factors! I called and was told they had about 50 carpet remnant rolls for me to choose from. I was taken to their warehouse space when I arrived. The remnants were rolled with their undersides visible but not their carpet sides and they were stored on their sides on shelves above my head. The woman showing me my choices cut off samples for me to look at that were (I kid you not) 1 inch x 1/4 inch. Really? Never mind. I'll go somewhere else! read more

Good selection and good prices. I used Floor Factors for carpet during a home remodeling project. The prices and range of products was really amazing for such a small space. The contractor who came out to install the carpet was really kind, and finished the whole job in one day. I had a Situation. A mostly destroyed rug (cat pee) and a schedule that left no time to shop for a replacement. The rug cleaner recommended Floor Factors. I hastily bought a remnant and asked that my old rug be cut down to eliminate the bad area so it could be used in another room. Laura was very helpful and pleasant to work with, even through some glitches along the way that were NOT caused by Floor Factors. The warehouse manager, Mike, and his team were also excellent, accommodating my wacky schedule and making sure the new rug looked just right. We were interested in redoing our kitchen floor with one of the new generation linoleum products and a neighbor recommended that we look at Floor Factors. We found that they have an impressive range of flooring options including a Marmoleum product that met our needs. Within a few days an estimator visited our condo, measured and generated an estimate. The flooring arrived within a few weeks and it was time for installation. The pleasant and professional installers prepped the area one day and installed the next. The installation was beautifully done. I should say that we used Marmoleum in a previous house and the installation was very poorly done.
