Not only was professional and delivered exactly what was promised, but made a few suggestions while he was there for how to optimize the shelves & racks to maximize space. I got several contractor bids, and ended up going with Martin Construction (Thomas Martin, owner), and so glad I did. Among the other bidders, Thomas was the only contractor that thought they could save the screened-in patio enclosure, when all the other contractors said they could not. That alone save me $4K in replacing that screened enclosure. Much to my surprise and relief, they were able to replace the patio support beams, while keeping the screen enclosure intact. Thomas and his crew did a superb job and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thomas is the kind of contractor that everyone hopes they will find in facing a daunting construction job. He is native to Georgetown and really cares about the community and his client, and does whatever it takes to get the job done right and on-time. He is easy to work with and is always available to discuss concerns about the project. I'm a tough client to please in that I expect the contractor to deliver as promised. Thomas and his crew surpassed that expectation and I can't recommend him more for any major home improvement or repair jobs. And some of the tiles are incredibly realistic in their mimicry of expensive marble or other stone. Of course there are samples of real stone from brands like Cambria and there are displays of handles and pulls for every style. Their epoxy system is very nice as well. The result is a much more beautiful and hardy surface than other professionally installed epoxy floors in my neighborhood. Several neighbors with epoxy floors have walked by and were envious of how great ours looks. We've lived with this flooring for 7 months now and I can attest that it holds up. From car dirt and grime, to the kids' paint projects, to my own woodworking projects, nothing has stained the surface and no mess has been difficult to clean. We opted for a very light color and at first I was a little nervous that this would appear dirty very quickly. However, I soon realized that the surface is so easy to clean and that nothing sticks to it. Just sweeping, mopping, or quickly wiping up messes with a wet rag is enough to make is shiny and clean again. We are very happy with how our garage turned out!

They really guided us through to the best flooring decision we could have ever made. Let me tell you, we had been shopping every where in town. We even went to the Home & Garden show here in Austin. The problem was either way too high of a price, or way to low of a quality product (meaning the reviews were bad on the product). Texbest Floors was right on in the middle. They beat the other guys quality who were charging the lowest per sqft (those floors won't last). They beat the other guys prices who were charging way too much for an average household's budget. We had also heard nightmares about projects starting and not getting completed on time or on budget. But not with these guys! They got our beautiful floors down just as we had arranged. Here's what happened: 1. They came to make measurements and talk to us. I can't thank them enough for this advice. For example, for our situation, we went with hard wood, glue down and I can honestly say I'll never consider floating laminate again! (but that's my opinion). They also added a little section of tile at the back door, since the previous flooring was showing warping because of the pool in our backyard. That was an awesome call, keeps that moisture off the floor. 2. The workers were very friendly and very professional. For the price I was impressed. These guys really worked hard to make sure the floor went down flush. They also took the time to make sure the subfloor was properly prepared as well. And game us tips along the way. 3. They delivered on time and on budget. The workers even came by to make sure everything was cleaned up off the floor. 4. It's been several months and are floors are still looking brand new. Here are the reasons I am giving them 5 stars. 1 - Their team of installers was AMAZING. They were able to remove all of the carpet and laminate, level the floor, install the wood flooring, base boards and toe molds in ONE DAY. Not only did they do amazing work, they left the house and outside work area impeccably clean when they were finished. 2 - They charged us exactly what was quoted. 3 - Gladys was checking in regularly. She was helpful, informative and easy to get in touch with when we had questions. She walked us through the whole process and everything was completed as promised.
