I find myself a lot of times just going here to look and am always really impressed with how they arrange and decorate and then inevitable almost always fall in love with something and have to buy it. Must stop for whenever we are in the area. The ultimate value is in your life improvement for just walking in and getting the nice things that you cant find other places and that improve the quality of your life. The staff is friendly and reminds me more of people that are doing what they would want to do as a hobby most of the time,

Honestly, if I could sneak in and live in the store or have them decorate my house the same way I'd be all in. Walking inside feels like an instant hug for your soul--comforting, serene, and kind of magical. I spent ages marveling at the jaw-dropping selection: lush succulents, colorful leafy, quirky mossy plants, and more. But it's not just about the greenery--there are incense, books, crystals, butterflies, soaps...you name it! The store smells heavenly, looks incredible, and has a calm yet playful vibe. It's less like shopping and more like embarking on a delightful, mini adventure. They're not bargain-bin-cheap, but they're fair--think solid value for truly unique finds. The person running the place is beyond lovely: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with all my enthusiastic (read: relentless) questions. Eventually I had to leave because I was making a very long mental list of plants I wanted to buy but likely to kill at home.

Then we took the trolley and started to roll it out and they freaked out and said we couldn't do that. Then we had to stand there and wait and some man walked over (which is fine but it was really hostile and awkward) and they said to pull the car up. They continued to tell other employees how we tried to take the trolley in some sort of disbelief as if they told us but they never did. Super rude and unclear about policies. A 15 pound table on a trolley won't kill anyone so don't yell at customers for trying to take it out when you didn't try to do it yourself in the first place.

But this time I went on Tuesday to pick up a few things and not only is the customer service lacking but there was no management on site. There were only a few guests in front of me in line and the line grew behind me as there was only one cashier who was processing a credit card application. This poor cashier kept calling for backup and no one arrived for at least 20 mins. Meanwhile people in line put things down and left as they could no longer wait. Finally when cashiers did arrive the crowd erupted in cheers and the staff could have cared less. When I mentioned the wait was too long I was told by the nasty cashier "Well I'm here now". Not sure who owns the store but your "managers" need to be trained on how to properly run a store because they are horrible.

"I've tried and tried to no avail You just can't seem to let…read moreme down You drive a hard bargain" (Emmylou Harris) We enjoy our bargain stores and are fans of Ocean State Job Lot, Big Lots and Ollies. Two days ago, we made our first visit to the Ollies on Grafton Street in Worcester. We picked up our "go to" Ollies staples -coffee K Cups (BTW, we do recycle them) and found some very good values on $4 or $5 for a box. Although we did get some good values, we thought the overall coffee inventory was lower than in other Ollies. We usually pick up some odds and ends in the food section and Ollies had a good selection of soups and salsas. One odd thing I saw was a trend of messiness in some of the store's sections. There were area rugs dumped all over the floor in one aisle. Now of course, I don't know how that happened, nor how long that mess was there, but I suspect a slovenly customer was looking at merchandise and couldn't have been bothered by picking up the mess they had carelessly created. But why on earth hadn't an employee noticed and remedied that mess? Another example of inattention was how the big cartons of K Cups were stacked; it looked as though their forklift or pallet jack operator had a few too many adult beverages before saying "that messy off-center precariously leaning stack is EXACTLY the way I wanted it too look". Overall, we had a typical Ollies experience, and that's a good one!

Actually some prices are not the cheapest but if you look, you can find some deals. From books, to garden care, to home ware, to some foods, even big appliances like air conditioners, school supplies, sports, toys, they might just have it. Not everything but you have to look. That's why you would come. To find a deal. It's not the best looking store or tidy, but that's the vibe here. Bargains, bargains, like at a warehouse. What's fun is actually to read the signs in the store. They are funny and very original. It's in a plaza with other stores, so there's plenty of parking. If in the area, I would check it out. But I wouldn't drive all the way just for a bargain. You could go to Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lot for similar items and in a nicer looking store. But you would miss out on the signs that advertise this store. That was the only thing I enjoyed.

We put money into the home first to update with fresh paint and Jamie worked her magic. Her style is contemporary, fresh, simple, and clean lined and the house looked it's best when she was done. We had an offer within a month of staging it and before staging the house sat without a lot of interest. We were selling the house at a distance and Jamie took care of everything that needed to be done to stage it which was great for us. Everyone who saw the house after staging said how beautiful it looked. The house had it's quirks, like many do, and Jamie did a great job of highlighting the positives. She was easy to work with, very professional, timely, had a few great suggestions, and her staging was so well worth the money. We highly recommend her.
