My friend told me about this place so my husband and I decided to check it out. We were looking for LVP to change out our 7 year old carpet. We did our research on colors and when we arrived there were so many of choices! We narrowed it down and found someone who could help us. The staff made sure we purchased everything needed along with the LVP. We were purchasing enough for more than 2,000 square feet so it took us 3 trips to pick it all up. It was great that we were given that option. Since we saw that we'd do a few more projects in the future we decided to open a card and get the promotional discount for doing so. We let the staff member know we were both educators and she was super helpful. We felt the value we paid for what we purchased was spot on. While we were waiting for our items to be brought around back to the loading zone we looked around for our future home projects. The loading staff was awesome. They made sure to load everything for us quickly and made sure they stacked it safely into our SUV each trip we took to pick up all of our items. We will for sure return when we're ready for our next project. Definitely recommend! read more

I want to give a huge thank-you to Roxanne at Floor & Decor in Murrieta for her outstanding customer service and support throughout our recent project! We ran into quite a few challenges working with marble tiles from different batches -- variations in thickness, color, and finish that made the installation more complex than expected. Roxanne went above and beyond to help us navigate these issues. She took the time to understand our concerns, offered thoughtful solutions, and coordinated everything quickly and professionally. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care made all the difference. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to making sure their customers are happy and projects turn out right. If you're planning a remodel or tile project, I highly recommend visiting the Murrieta location and asking for Roxanne -- she's truly exceptional! ~ Zahra read more

Upon entering this store you are immediately overwhelmed at the array of choices in this vast space! It's huge but very clean and nicely laid out. We took a lot of photos & had long chats with some of the staff, who were super friendly and helpful. They advised we make an actual appointment with one of their designers. They offer free design services! Free? Yes, please! After several visits and still not knowing what we wanted we finally made an appointment with the exuberant & talented Laura Kashmere. She listened to us and offered suggestions and helped us choose a final design. She was so friendly and fun to work with! We are so happy with the final outcome! Their choices seem endless but choosing a great designer helped us navigate this design journey and we were able to get a shower we loved. Highly recommend Laura and this store for all your tile & flooring needs! read more

Pasqunel, Cristo and Isaac were all amazing with customer service! Pasqunel was especially helpful, cheerful and didn't make us feel a bit bad for a switch out of materials. Then he stayed with us and walked through so many other small details of our project, we're so thankful, the best!! Can't say enough of about their positive attitudes and such amazing service, even in super warm weather kindly helping us unload then reload. They are an asset to this store and clearly enjoy their jobs and coworkers. Have been to a lot of floor & decors over the years and this was one of the most positive experiences even with the inconvenience of a larger return. We'll definitely be back and will share with others! Thanks for the great experience, guys! And of course they have a GREAT selection, always start here on our tile needs and can't recommend them enough. :) read more

This store is just what we needed in this area! They have great product and very helpful staff. We recently remodeled our kitchen and family room and we went in trying to find the right tile for a media niche area. They had a designer on staff named Lachelle who got us to try something a little more bold than my safe and boring picks and I could not be happier. She knew how much we needed and helped us pick a grout color. I was thrilled with the finished product and have gotten so many compliments. She was so talented and really listened to what we wanted. Also, Returns are easy since they keep your purchases on record. I couldn't keep track of all my receipts in the middle of a construction zone, but they had it all in the system. read more

Mika Mika Mika... Amazing designer, she has a vision others just aren't able to replicate. She can envision the look you want and make it even better. She snaps her fingers and gets your supplies immediately and always has a smile on her face. For real though, her customer service is top tier and I never shopped with floor decor before and now im a customer for life. She's been more than accommodating especially since the items I'm buying is sold out at other locations. Thank you Mika if your reading this and I hope they give you the biggest raise.. Awful service throughout the entire location. Manager must've called out sick because staff certainly weren't taking care of customers. The entire staff goes on lunch at the same time for an hour? Then we get a guest experience survey call the next day. The guy asks us what we would rate the store and I give a low rating and he hangs up. If it's not a good rating I guess they don't want to hear it but they def don't provide good or even decent service. For people spending $XX,XXX amount of money you'd think they'd provide a bit more than what we got. I understand rush hour and being swamped and staff deserving breaks and lunches. Sometimes not everyone can go at the right time but to ALL be on an hour lunch. Come on. Let's plan a bit better. I was there for 2.5 hours shopping and waiting for help and then waiting for loading. Not many of us in the store and we weren't the only ones wondering where all the staff was. read more

Be advised that you can purchase everything nowadays from different sellers until you don't have a problem with the item, there is not much difference between them. Once you have a problem with a purchased item then you will see how they react to the situation. Return policy is very limited especially when it comes to tools! I purchase a self-leveling laser tool in January at the beginning of the remodeling middle of my other purchases from this store, After the remodeling was done and I moved in, I tried to use this item for the very first time to do my closet shelving and the item defected, I went there to fix it with a return or replacement of the same or similar item, a very simple return matter that you easily can do in home depot even for more than a year or most of the other sellers. the bold part is the manager of the Murrieta store was the one who insist on taking care of my return even though I already was talking to another employee (Nika who did seem willing to help), as an experienced administrator I can tell you that his customer service skill was very low and he was trying to find a way to find an excuse to not accept my item even if he sees it in the system. his response to my statements was very much rude as well which you can not find in so many stores these days. He saw my purchase history and when I saw he was not willing to be helpful, I told him as a loyal customer with almost $5000 purchases in your store you could at least offer me credit for the malfunctioned item that I wasted my money on, instead his quote; "You could spend 5 million dollars, still You can not return or receive any credit" I was very surprised that has such an experience with the store manager who should be skilled and kind to the customers for the sake of the store, I mean if and only if the company cares about their reputation. I leave the judgment to you guys I just needed to share it so if you are purchasing your tools make sure as long as it's available do your business with a seller who can back you up in this situation, not just do their best to turn you done. read more

My existing hardwood floors are tired and need to be replaced. I want to replace my carpet. I came to Floor & Decor looking for answers as to what would work in my open floor plan home and their FREE designer - LAURA KASHMERE- was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She was so nice! I have shopped at the Floor & Decor in Carmel, San Diego and this store in Murrieta. By far, hands down, the best experience we have had is the Murrieta store with Desire'. Post pandemic, it's hard to find customer service employees so willing to help as much as Desire'. She went completely above and beyond. I live closer to San Diego but due to her professionalism and willingness to help, I am willing to drive to the Murrieta store. Customer service here is on point. Greg helped me initially with my checkout process with my flooring. He was genuinely concerned that I was gathering all the correct items. Today, I come back about 3 weeks later to return the excess flooring I bought. I wasn't aware I could just take it to the back to have it unloaded. Desire was kind enough to help me push the dolly into the store so I could return my items. Would highly recommend this place! read more

My experience with Floor and Decore was absolutely a blessing. I had gone to Arizona tile and had picked out all of my Tile for bathroom, which included backsplash, shower, accent tiles, shower flooring, floor. Unfortunately my contractor said I was way over budget and I had to find some thing else. He recommended floor and decor. I had to get everything within two days because they were going to start. Paulina Lara was the designer from floor decor who help me pick out material that was in stock and was similar to what I had from Arizona tile. Thanks to her design I was able to find something very elegant within my budget. Paulina did an amazing job helping me design my bathroom. I absolutely love it, it's a showstopper! I was able to get everything including the gold trim, grout and other pieces around the niche and windows. read more

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the wonderful employees of this store. Paul and Adrian in particular were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and overall amazing human beings. We had an issue with our order that had become a hassle of back and forth with no solution. We went in to the store as kind of a Hail Mary plan hoping to talk to someone that could help us, and I'm so glad we did! Paul was able to take care of our issue, help us pick out some tools we needed. Paul and Adrian are true assets to the company and I am so glad that we decided to visit this particular store. I have purchased materials from Porcelain tile, stone, laminates, LVP and more for many years from Floor & Decor. Unfortunately, it offers a large variety of products for the consumer, however for the installer it is so much more work to acquire a complete order of the same batch number. We are typically told the balance of materials needed are in another City. So we have to travel on our own time. The store offers no discounts to contractors .... A lot of products have been picked through or returned damaged. What gets me is a simple phone call to them is typically unanswered, or no one is available to pick up the phone while it is teleprompter around the world. read more

We had such a fantastic experience with Jacob Durban! My husband and I had many questions as we prepared for two separate tile projects (interior and exterior) for our home. Jacob's friendly, knowledgeable and professional attitude made our rather confusing choices crystal clear and easy, guiding us to the proper choices as to the correct exterior or interior application for items like the various grout and thinset/mortar products, which surprisingly come in a multitude of formulations and several brands. All of his guidance and info made it much easier for us to understand these issues, know the appropriate products and to have peace of mind that our projects will have a a successful outcome. Thanks so very much Jacob -- you are an awesome guy and and valuable asset to Floor & Decor! read more

I give the Carmel Mountain branch very little for customer service but Gus from Murrieta was EXCELLENT. I spent 4 days trying to call the Murietta store to get an appointment with the designer. It would ring several times then hang up. Finally I got a recording to choose an option. I pressed 3 for designer. Guess what? It rang 5 times and hung up on me. 2 weeks later I went to the Moreno Valley store as I was driving through on my way home. I asked for the designer and was told "No appointment, ya gotta call first". I asked if a designer was available and I was told "I just told y, you don't have an appointment, you have to call first". It wasn't WHAT was said, it was HOW it was said. CLEARLY if Home & Decore can't answer their phones and staff is rude I'm not giving my business to them. I found a great local "mom and pop store". Should have gone there to begin with. They've been in business 35 years and I can understand why. read more
